Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!!! Garnet basically dragged my dumb ass out of bed and outside. With nothing but pajamas on, I’m gonna die, because I obviously changed too much too fast. And now, the leader of the Crystal gems is gonna kill me. Why couldn’t I just follow the script? Why do I always have to open my big mouth?!
“Steven...is there anything you want to tell me?”
No. Not at all. In fact, I don’t even want to be here, talking to you right now, yet alone telling you things you probably already know.
“Uh can you be a little more specific? I don’t think I know what you’re talking about...did we have to come outside for this? I'm still tired?” I asked innocently with a slight smile. Unfortunately, the expression of being expressionless is Garnet’s standard state. So figuring out how the gem was feeling wasn’t in the deck.
“I see…” she says ominously. Which makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand. I couldn’t even attempt to hide my expression of pure terror when she wordlessly summoned her gauntlets. And honestly almost pissed myself when she started walking towards me. Of course, I began backing away slowly in fear before trying to solve whatever was going on diplomatically.
“G-garnet what’s going on? You’re scaring me. Why do you have your weapons out?” I stutter but there’s no response. Fight or Flight kicked in hard, and I never was much of a runner. My Shield appeared and I raised my defenses unsteadily. It was at this moment I finally saw a hint of emotion from her. There was a twitch of her brow, but nothing else before the next thing I know, she’s in front of me with an arm cocked back.
My eyes close on their own in fear, and I hear the wind being displaced by the force of the swing before I feel it. But once I do, I truly regret not working more on dodging and instead focusing on tanking blows. I’m sent flying what seems like feet before my back crashes into the sand. The air is knocked out of me as I ‘land’ and my eyes force themselves open. My shield even disappears.
I wouldn’t exactly call myself “Lucky” right now, but it sure was fortunate that they were open, since I was able to take a peek at my attackers position to realize that they were gone. Which, y'know, is never good news. Immediately my eyes darted towards the sky, and like I suspected there comes a falling gem ready to punch me into a crater.
I have just enough time to close my spread arms, connect my wrists, and separate my hands. A Shield forms and floats in front of me. With a mental command, it Enlarges and flies towards Garnet. Her gauntlet and my shield meet, causing a shockwave of air. I gasp in pain, some sort of feedback from stopping her attack makes me feel like I was punched in the gut. Though I suppose it would be a lot worse if I physically took the hit, so I guess I should be grateful.
My defense luckily stopped her descent, letting me catch my breath a little while she stood on top of my shield. And then she does something I should have expected, yet didn’t all the same. She punches the projection. Hard. I feel the pain in my gut again, but since I was expecting it, it’s at least manageable. Until she punches once more, and a myriad of cracks form. This time, there’s a shock that runs throughout my entire body, and I can't control the scream that forces its way out of my throat.

Once again, her arm rears back, preparing to strike once more. I couldn’t let her, somehow I knew, I just knew if my shield breaks then I would break with it. I doubt I’d die, but I sure wouldn’t be able to keep consciousness. I wouldn't be able to continue the fight. I wouldn’t be able to survive.
Shit! Shit! Shit! Disperse!!!
As her fist was about to make contact with my shield, it suddenly disappeared, and the fusion once again found herself in freefall. Great, now we’re back to where we started! With each passing millisecond, my death comes closer, and it was in the last seconds that I got an idea. It feels like I became hyper aware, I wait and wait until the opportunity arises. It almost seemed she was falling in slow motion but I had only one shot at this so I had to do it right.
10 feet!
9 feet!
8 feet!
7!!! “SHIELD!!!”
I yell out loud like a war cry and summon my weapon. But instead of it being in front of me it appeared on the side of my foe. My fists clench, and from on my back, I throw a right hook at the air. And while I don’t hit anything personally, my summon dashes forward and crashes right into Garnet's side. There’s no scream, no groan, no anything, but it does send her ramming away from me.
I take this time to finally get onto my feet and stare in surprise and amazement. I hit her...I hit Garnet! I’d be freaking the fuck out right now if I wasn’t still so scared for my life. It doesn’t help that she stands up almost immediately, her eyebrows knit together in...confusion? Frustration? I don’t know for sure. But I realize something almost immediately when she starts walking back towards me, when I feel an aura of danger and death surround her, when my knees begin to shake.
She was holding back...a lot. This time, there was no run. No jump. No sudden attack. She simply sauntered to my position. I summoned my Shield to prepare for any surprises and I dug my heels as deep in the sand as I could. I didn’t train evasion enough, relying on it now when I would have to lower my shield would be a death sentence if I slipped up and got hit. Not to mention, sandy terrain really isn’t the best for dodging.
The windup was slow, almost fucking methodical. Her fist clenched, her arm went back, and struck out. I didn’t go flying like last time, feet firmly set and knees bent to receive the blow, but that didn’t mean anything. My body screamed in pain and I gaped, and my arm flys back from the blow. And then I see it... I see my shield almost shattered. From. One. Punch.
...Shit.
On Pat. Re. On April 10, 2021
“DISPERSE!! - SHIELD!!!” I scream while I watch in horror as she begins to slowly repeat the motion once more. And once again it connects. And once again my body screams in pain. I have to do something! I have to get out of this loop, I’m still standing but if this continues on my body will just give out from the pain rather than my Shield breaking! Her arms windes back-
“DISPERSE! - SHIELD! - REMOVE SPRING - ADD KINETIC ABSORPTION!!!”
With a strike, my arms are flung back with no change to occur. It didn’t work. Of course it didn’t, I’m not Captain Fucking America no matter how many times I try to emulate him. I didn’t work...it didn’t work but I could feel it wasn’t because my power didn’t allow it but more because I didn’t really know what I was trying to do.

Sure, removing how bouncy something is and making something sharp are easy, but those are easy concepts to understand. If I could have some time, just a little time, to think about what I want and solidify the idea, I know I can get it down.
Her Arm Windes Back.
But time isn’t something I have right now. Everything hurt, my arms wouldn’t stop spasming, no matter how much I tried to make them stop, and by how hard I was breathing, my lungs felt as if they were burning. Adding an attribute like that is too hard right now, too advanced for me to just make up on the spot.
I need her away from me. I can’t keep tanking her punches. But I also can’t dodge successfully enough without becoming a splatter in the sand. I can’t help the chuckle that comes from my throat, one that was more self deprecating than any words. I knew it. I felt it. And it burned my very soul.
She was toying with me.
Shield! Fuck this...Fuck this! And Fuck her!! I’m not here to be her plaything! I don’t know why this is happening, I don’t know when I went too far, and I don’t know what’s with this damn reaction, but it doesn’t matter. I. Don’t. Care. I’m not here to be a fucking Punching Bag!!!
My fists balled so hard, blood dripped down my fingers. With as much power as I could, and a yell of defiance, I made an uppercut motion. She wants to taunt me with these slow ass punches?! I’ll punish her for trampling on my Pride! My hand hits nothing. But my Shield flies and buries itself into her gut. She bends over a bit from pain but otherwise seems fine, not even taking a step back. She looks down at the Shield in her stomach and then looks back at me, almost mockingly asking, ‘Was that supposed to do something?’ When she looks at me however, instead of shock or despair, she sees a smirk. I notice another crease of a brow before I snap my fingers.
“Add Knockback.”
And she flies.
Thank god...thank god that worked!!! I was starting to lose confidence after my last attempt at adding an attribute. Before she hits the sand, she somehow manages to spin midair and land on her feet. I can tell the Gem planned to immediately dash back at me for some pay back, but with a right jab, my defense is already flying towards her.
Her arms cross in an attempt to block but with a left uppercut, it becomes useless as she’s sent flying into the air. No damage, probably none at all, but damage isn’t what I’m going for. No, I just need to keep her away until one of the other Crystal Gems wakes up and comes out. At the very least, I know Pearl will fight by my side. I just need time.
Before the fusion could descend, I sent my shield to chase after her. There’s nothing she can do. In the air, she couldn't dodge my blows, and with another uppercut from my right, she juggled.
This is it. If I can keep this up, if I can keep her away from me like now. I can survive. I can finally breathe with space. I can’t believe I’m going to win this, sure I’m not going to beat her, but staying alive is the goal here. When she starts to fall, I repeat the attack and bring her back up into the air. I can see her frustration from here, something I would have enjoyed laughing at if I didn’t need absolute focus to not screw up.
But of course, nothing ever goes as planned. Everything was going well. With another upward hook motion, my shield was flying towards her at speed, and about to impact her like the previous times before. This time however she does that thing again. That damn thing again, where she turns her body in midair!!! But that’s not all of course. When it rains, it always has to fucking pour.
My shield continues to pass her due to her dodge and to my absolute despair, she somehow positions her body so she’s under it. Then she pushes off my shield!!! I was too surprised, too shocked. I couldn’t do anything to react to her speed. My Knockback pushed her towards me even faster and my eyes widened in surprise.
The world seemed to slow. I couldn’t move. All I could do was watch her descent slowly. All I could do was watch her get closer. All I could was count down the time until-...I die. I was going to die. I wasn’t fast enough to desummon and resummon my shield in time. I...I wasn’t going to make it.
I’m going to die.
My eyes clenched shut.
No...No! No! No! No! No! No! I can’t! I can’t die here! I have plans! I have ambitions! I have power! This won’t be how I end! This...THIS WON’T BE HOW I DIE!
My eyes snap open to see it. Her hand, open instead of a fist, coming closer. Until something pink forms in front of her. But that doesn’t stop her, not completely. I’m pushed into the sand, though I don’t feel it on my back. With a BOOM the next thing I know, I’m in the middle of a crater. And between me and my attacker wasn’t a shield.
But A Pink Bubble.
On Pat. Re. On May 28th, 2021
“My goodness! What in the world is going on out here?!” I hear a shout coming from a little away. Honestly, I didn’t know how to feel about this development. Sure, I’m glad someone is finally here, so that’s probably the end of the battle, but at the same time, ain’t it a little bit too late!? The fight is basically over! Not to mention, during those last seconds where I thought I was going to die...I saw a palm instead of a fist. Garnet...I don’t think she planned to actually kill me.
I could see Pearl look around the beach, and I would laugh if I wasn’t so out of breath, and everything didn’t hurt. You could almost physically see the cog turning as she began to understand what happened piece by piece. A cute little frown found its way on her face that made me want to give her a silly little boop on the nose.
...Did I just think “Silly Little Boop”? Maybe I’m more hurt than previously thought.
“Were you both Sparring? Why so late at night? While the Night/Day cycle doesn’t mean much for us, Steven needs rest to function properly as half human.” She asks while speed walking towards me and checking my body for any serious injuries. Which there wasn’t, small blessings I suppose, any actual landed attacks would leave more as a blood splatter than damaged. Though, not gonna lie, now that the adrenaline is gone my back is killing me. Probably from the attack that bounced me like a ragdoll.
“I’m fine Pearl, really, this was just the first time Garnet offered to train and so I was too excited to wait. And it paid off. Look! I unlocked another power! I think I’m gonna call it...Bubble Shield! Isn’t it so cool!?” I exclaim easily slipping into character while throwing a few glances at my attacker's way to make sure she plays along. While I would love to make sure this can never happen again, there can’t be any infighting in the Crystal Gems. Not this early.
Garnet wasn’t trying to kill me. She knows something, or at the very least think she knows something, and attacked me to prove something. A test perhaps, on my new skills and abilities? Am I improving too fast? But I can’t afford to stunt my growth out of fear, we need to have a talk and figure this out. An actual one this time and not one that’s going to leave me sore.
“It is indeed impressive Steven. You’ve yet to have your powers for very long and yet you’re already making fantastic progress with them.” she agrees with a small smile and hug. “But you have to remember to take care of yourself too. Humans are fragile. Let’s go inside, you can train more in the morning.”
“Sure. You can go back inside, we’ll be with you in a sec. I just need to talk to Garnet about what I’ve learned.” I see with a giggle and a smile before turning away from Pearl to glance at the other Gem to find her frowning but silent. That’s fine, as long as she’s not breaking the story then it’s alright. Besides, her being silent is a standard, it would be more suspicious if she was talkative all of a sudden.
“But-”
“I promise Pearl, we’ll be right there. Go.” I say a little bit more forcefully. I could tell she wanted to argue but she did as I said anyway, hesitantly turning around and heading back in. I end up sighing in relief, she has a hard time saying no to me, but when it comes to my health she tends to be headstrong.
“I can’t see you.” Garnet suddenly speaks while I’m watching Pearl leave. It surprises me, I wasn’t expecting her to begin before me and I just hope my girl wasn’t in earshot anymore. I turn around to see the same face. Frowning. Just looking at me. So, she can obviously see me physically. At least I hope so.
“What...what do you mean? Do you mean you can’t see me in your Future Vision?” I ask hesitantly. Depending on her answer, I couldn’t tell if this was a good or bad thing. I mean, it doesn’t seem like a negative, but then again it was also enough reason for me to be attacked so maybe there’s something I’m not seeing.
“No, you’re there, and yet you’re not. I should be able to see each path you will and might take. All the possibilities are then filtered into the most likely and those are the routes I’m shown, and yet, that’s not happening. It’s been wrong lately. A lot. This shouldn’t be happening. It’s impossible. Or it should be.”
Well damn, is that how it works? It’s like Arithmancy in Harry Potter! The Gem is basically a highly advanced computer. It calculates all the factors it can and shows the situations most likely. She can’t actually see the future, just the most likely scenarios. That kind of makes it even cooler than just magical clairvoyance. And it also explains things. Like how Garnet can get surprised at certain events.
“But what does that have to do with you attacking me? I was seriously freaking out there! For a second, I thought that was the end of me. I know I’m throwing myself into it, but I’m still pretty new to all of this.” I ask. At this point, I need an explanation. If for anything less, to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again. Once was more than enough in my lifetime. Both of them.
“I...needed more data. If my vision is malfunctioning, if I can’t depend on it, then I can’t protect you. I can’t make sure you're safe. What if something happens I don’t know about and you get seriously hurt. What if...I slip up and you die? I need to get it working. After Rose left us, she trusted me to keep everyone safe. To keep her son safe. I have to-”
“Garnet!” I interrupt her with a shout. Honestly, I’m still pretty shaken up about it. Some of those attacks looked like they could really kill me but I know I can be misunderstanding. It’s much more plausible that someone as old and experienced as Garnet could stop at any point in time, even if she’s in the middle of the attack, but…
“I understand. I do. So? Was all of this worth it? Did you get your Future Vision fixed?” I question with hope. Being unpredictable sounds cool on paper, but her most valuable power is that ability. If I’m fucking it up, then I taking away a huge advantage we have. It’s not worth it at that point.
“It was getting better at the very end. Though the new ability surprised me. With a little more data, everything should go back to normal. You’ve changed Steven.” She states bluntly which causes me to awkwardly laugh it off.
“Yeah I’ve noticed that too. Ever since the dreams with my mom and you guys happened, I’ve realized that I need to get stronger to help support you guys. I can’t stay a kid forever, y’know?” I respond and get a nod in return. “Let’s go, I still need sleep and tonight has me drained. Can you tell Amethyst that training is canceled for tomorrow. I think I may need a break.”
On Pat. Re. On June 5th, 2021
“C’mon Pearl, it’ll be fun. We need to go on at least one real date.” I say to my blue gem as I drag her through Beach City. Looking around as I go, I try to think of something that both of us can do. I realized after that scare last night that there were still so many things I wanted to do. I wanted to live more. Experience more of the storyline. I wanted to take Pearl out on walks and dates, and just be together. I wanted to make memories and take pictures. I wanted to help her realize the beauty of not only Earth’s nature, but the people on it and the things we’ve built.
“I just don’t understand what this is for Steven. I already care about you a great deal. From my understanding, these “Dates” are meant for humans to get to know each other, which allows partners to grow stronger attachments. I, however, have known you since your creation, and am already quite attached to you.” Pearl explains.
“Wait wait wait, I’m surprised that you knew all of that. Actually, I’m surprised that you knew any of that. No offence but you’re not really with the times honey. Or human culture at all really. How did you know what dating is?” I ask in confusion. Her explanation didn’t only seem close, it seemed right. Which is astonishing for someone so culturally inept as my woman.
“Hmph, I’ll have you know, I was around when this “Dating” concept was concepted. Though it has changed over the centuries. Greg dragged Rose on many of these activities, and during the first of many, he explained properly what they are for.” She explains with an oddly smug expression.
“Well, those aren’t the only things dates are for.” I explain and chuckle as her expression falls into one of confusion. “Sometimes people who already know each other and love each other go on dates anyway. Not to get to know one another even better, but because they like spending time together.”
“I don’t understand. Could we not just have spent time together at the house? Or does being with each other at home not count as a “Date”? If so, why are some locations suitable for dates and others aren’t?” Pearl ponders. Her look of concentration looks adorable while she tries to solve the puzzle of humanities dating climate.
“No, we could do many things at the house that could count. We could watch a movie together. We could make a special dinner and eat together. We could even have stayed on the couch and read some books together. Actually...I’ll have to remember that one. Anyway, almost anything applies as long as it’s with people who love each other doing something they both find fun. But we can’t really do any of that right now because they’re too many people in our house. We would never be able to actually be alone during any of it. I want a day without any distraction. I want to focus on you and you only. Your beauty. Your intelligence. Your elegance.”
There wasn't a response for a while as I dragged her around, and so I looked back to see her looking down towards the floor with flushed cheeks of blue. I smile at the sight before focusing once more on my goal. Finding something to do that we would both enjoy around here. Shouldn’t be too hard, but hopefully something comes to mind soon.
It was while passing the arcade that I got an idea and pulled her inside. Walking to the front counter I see Mr. Smiley and give him a wave that he returns. I tense a little when I notice his eyes lingering on where me and Pearl's hands linked but decide to ignore it. I’m not going to waste my time hiding my relationships from anyone. This is a day to spend with my woman, and I won’t act like I’m embarrassed or ashamed to be with her. Regardless of how weird it may seem to these background characters.
“Heya Steven, what can I do for ya today?” he asks, deciding to shrug it off apparently. I mean, I don’t really blame him, he probably justified it in his mind by saying it’s so I don’t get lost or something. I am only 13, well, physically at least. Regardless, if he’s not going to ask any questions, neither am I. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth afterall. I slap a 10 dollar bill on the counter and look at Mr. Smiley with a smile.
“I need as many quarters as this can get me fine sir. Today I have to open the eyes of a young poor soul to the glory of games and I shan’t be left wanting!” I exclaim dramatically. Sometimes, being a kid is the best. I can be as melodramatic as I want and no one blinks an eye. It’s these moments I live for.
“I shall be back once again with our bounty. Fare thee well!” I wave goodbye and start looking for a good place to start. I could practically hear the roll of his eyes when he sent me off but I know there isn’t anything malicious about it. I spot my first target soon after my search begins and walk up to the Skee Ball machines.
“Alright Pearl, this game is simple. It’s called Skee Ball, and all you have to do is take a ball, roll it up the lane and try to get it into the holes. Each hole is worth a certain amount of points. The more points you have, the more tickets you get so we can cash in to get a prize. Here, let me show you.” I say putting in a quarter and rolling a ball. Impressively, I get the farthest hole and score 50 points. Looking to Pearl after my accomplishment however, I could tell she wasn’t very impressed. She grabs a ball and rolls it lightly...very lightly. So lightly it doesn't make it up the ramp and ends up rolling back down towards us.
What exactly...is the point of this Steven? What does this achieve?” she wonders with a troubled expression that causes me to frown. I forgot that the Gems don’t really know how to chill except Amethyst. This could be a problem. How am I gonna bond with her outside of training and fighting for our lives if this will be her response to everything? But then something clicks, and I can’t help but to praise my brilliance.
“Well normally there isn’t. This is all usually meant to have fun and nothing else but we won’t get anywhere at this rate. So let’s try it this way. Gem Pearl!” I growl out, deepening my voice and standing straight. Her eyes widen at the change of attitude and she tenses a bit but I continue. “Skee Ball is a game where the objective is to gain as many points as possible by rolling balls down a lane and into holes of various sizes for differing point amounts. However that’s not all, we use this “Game” to train our young. It heightens eye coordination, it teaches strength control, and best of all they don’t even know they’re training. They all do it willingly for enjoyment.” I explain in a stern tone of voice. Her eyes widen in surprise and it takes all my will not to break.
“...genius! That’s genius! By training them at a young age, they develop skill sets that can be fine tuned at an older age, and it doesn't hurt morale because no matter how much they practice, it is all done willingly.” she says to herself. Her ranting turns into little mumbles as she continues to think and picks up a ball, looking at it intently, before throwing it down the aisle.
“Hmph! Only a 40 Pointer Gem Pearl? I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. I expect better strength control from someone of your stature. A vertern of a planetary war.” I mock with a slight smirk, putting a coin into the machine beside hers and scoring another 50 Pointer soon after. With a shake of my head, I turn back towards her. “Maybe this is a bit too advanced for you. We should move to something easier.”
“No!” she yells. Looking into her eyes I can see a raging fire of determination. One more time, she picks up a ball and rolls it. This time it hits the 50 slot and she looks at me smugly. “How was that huh? There’s no need to move to anything easier. This is nothing for me.”
“Do not get cocky, beloved. Just because you did good once, doesn’t mean you could beat me.” I goad.
“Oh really?”
“Really.”
The Game. Was On.
On Pat. Re. On June 9th, 2021
It was...it was great. Amazing. I don’t know why it took me so long, but I really had fun. And I think Pearl did too. She especially loved the dance machine. She immediately grabbed the high score in almost every song. I tried to face her at first, but eventually my stamina failed me, and she was just in her own little world. Watching her dance, twirling around with a smile, made my smile a permanent feature on my face. And the way she’d get excited after hearing each new song and call out my name after seeing the score made my heart swell.
But as we were walking on the beach towards our home, a little guilt struck me. What I did to Pearl that night, playing on her love for me. On her love for my mother. I took advantage of her, no other way to describe it. I didn’t love her. I loved her character. The person I saw on a tv screen. The fictional gem that was only a fantasy. Not to say I’m above what I did, I’m not gonna try to fool myself into being a paragon of virtue, but now...now I care for her. Not her character. Not the person I watched everyday. But her. The person who yelled and screamed when she thought I could get hurt. The person who danced so happily and said my name with love each and every time.
“Is something wrong Steven? You’ve been unusually quiet.” my Pearl asks with a slight frown. It didn’t look good on her. I need to get stronger. To protect her. To protect everyone. Skipping a day of training was a mistake, something I’ll make sure to fix. After realizing how weak I truly was last night, I should have doubled down, not took a fucking break.
“Just thinking. I had so much fun today. This was amazing. And it’s something I want to happen again, but I’m realizing there are people who want to take away what we have. The happiness that we get by being together. And I need to get strong enough to make sure they fail. To make sure our happiness stays safe.” I explain, more for myself, voicing the words into reality.
“Oh Steven, you don’t have to worry about that. Sure there are some...dangerous stuff out there, but we’ve won before. And we’ll do so again. You can depend on us. So don’t think about it so much alright?” she says to assure me. I nod to let her know I understand but my look must have not swayed her fears. “How about we...go farther tonight. There is more that you have been avoiding until now correct?”
My head snaps up to look at her in surprise but she refuses to meet my eyes, cheeks flushed blue. She’s right, I have been avoiding going all the way, not because I’ve been waiting for the right time or anything but because...she’s so pure. I don’t know. I felt that I’d be corrupting something. Making a stain on a blank canvas. I’ve been avoiding it, but with her request, I found the need to make her mine rise. And with a nod, we get back to the house quickly.
Up the stairs to my room we go and we both sit on the bed, side by side. I breathe to slow my heart, this isn’t something I should rush. Not with her. Take it slow, she needs Love, not Lust. Do it right. And make her yours.
The silence is a little awkward at first. I can tell she’s a bit nervous, but it’s my job to guide her through it. Her first time won’t be a bad one, I’ll make sure of it. With one last deep breath, I wrap one arm around her and pull her in close. With beautiful light cyan blue eyes staring up at me, I move in to claim her lips. They close, and mine do as well while we both just sit there, lips locked together.
It wasn’t long before this wasn’t enough for me however, and before I knew it, the kiss became more passionate. Our lips began to quicken and my tongue asked for entrance, which she happily granted. They didn’t fight for dominance, they hardly ever did, Pearl is someone who's completely subservient, and my tongue conquered her own.
Falling into the bed, we continued our kiss, never pushing each other away for a single second. Eventually however, I needed to detach for air, but when I did I could hear a whimper of sadness come from her before she slowly opened her eyes to meet mine. Catching my breath, my gaze roamed her body, and my hands soon after.
They move up her blouse to grasp at her small breasts and I feel her jump in my hands. I don’t stop though, it’s too late for that. I couldn’t even if I wanted to, and I can’t will myself to want to. They aren’t very big at all, my hands can envelope them both while running circles around her erect nipples. Her deep breaths cause something within me to stur, and it gets harder and harder to control myself.
I try to gently lift the one piece blouse/skirt but I can tell I didn’t do a very good job. For a moment, I sit and stare at her beauty. I do nothing, nothing but admire the woman I was about to conquer and finally claim as mine. Pearl notices, and somehow that cute blue blush that was already their turn even bluer.
“Steven, please do not stare too much. I do not know why, but when you look at me like that with those eyes, my body wants to tremble. And I can’t work up the courage to look you in the eyes.” she explains shyly. I can’t help the chuckle that comes out even though I try to stop it. She’s just so adorable. So perfect.
Without delaying any longer, my mouth finds its way on her fair flesh, enveloping those very perkies I was playing with moments earlier. Immediately I hear a gasp of air, and I close my eyes to focus on my ears to listen to her body. At first, I suck on them gently, almost like a babe on its mother’s teat. The hitch in her breathing and her shudder don’t go unnoticed.
I tried everything I could think of. From suckling gently, to sucking harshly. From nibbling to biting. All of this lasted around 10 minutes, and by the end her squirming and moaning made me as hard as a rock. It turns out, my first attempt was the one she enjoyed the most, and I made sure I took my time before going any further.
She was a gem, a being that didn’t need to breathe, and yet her chest heaved up and down regardless. Barely able to restrain myself, I alternate between each perfectly round mound while pulling down those pink shorts. Finally, a hand finds its way to her slit and runs up it to land on her clit. The first audible moan was here, and my cock twitched in response.
Slowly, in a circular pattern, with my lips on her tits and my finger on her clit, I made her body shake. It lurched, up and down, and soon enough she began saying my name faintly. The reaction caused me to lose myself. I was supposed to be going slow but it didn’t last very long.
“Steven. Steven. Oh goodness Steven.” That was it. Nothing else. Just her repeating these few simple words lightly. And then, they weren’t so light. Not that I could call them loud either, but she definitely wasn’t whispering anymore. And without any warning, there’s a silent scream that refuses to leave her throat and her back arches, spasming all the while.
I back off the bed a bit to take my clothes off. When I climb back on, it’s between her legs, my cock at her entrance, rubbing up and down her slit. I prepare myself to take her when our eyes meet. The smile she gives me melts my heart and I push inside her a bit. Another moan escapes her without thought. I guess she’s stopped trying to keep quiet. My dick isn’t anything to write home about, 5 inches at most. But it’ll do.
Finally, no more stalling, I thrust my length inside of her. I hear a scream of pleasure, but I can’t focus. Her insides, I can’t describe it. I hadn’t worried about hurting her, she’s a Gem after all, she wouldn’t have a hymen. What I didn’t expect however, was the feeling. Tight. She’s so Tight. Like her body fits perfectly around my girth. Like she’s made for me.
I suddenly feel light headed, and I find myself thrusting without realizing. God it feels so amazing. The way her walls hold onto my cock like they refuse to let go, the way her moans travel straight into my ears. The way her mantra from earlier has gotten more erratic and even louder. I can’t control myself. I lean down on top of her without stopping my hips and capture her lips.
“Steven! Oh Steven! I love you. I’m yours. I’m yours. Forever, you’re the only one for me! Call to me Steven. Tell me that I’m your Pearl!” she screams into my ear as I thrust inside of her. My breathing becomes ragged as I hear her demands and my hips move even faster than before. I can already tell I won’t have much lasting as long as I would want.
“Know your place! What right do you have to order me around? Do you need discipline?! Perhaps I have been too lenient with you! You are mine! Whether I say it or not, you belong to me! How dare you believe otherwise!?” I growl in her ear. I wouldn’t have believed it until it happened, but I could feel her tighten even more around me. Her screams grow hysterical.
“Yes! Yes My Diamond! I’ve offended you! I’m yours! I’m yours!! Do whatever you want with me! I’m yours!!!” she screams her response. In any other scenario, I feel as if I should mention that slip up..but right now? Right now I don’t care about any of that. Diamonds? Secrets? None of that matters.
“You belong to me. Do you understand? Soon, soon I’m going to burst my seed inside of you. And when it happens, you will cum with me. You will not finish until your Diamond commands it. You will take my seed!”
Faster. More erratic. I can’t focus. I can’t think. A feeling inside me rises at an astonishing speed. I don’t try to hold it back. With a few more thrusts, I moved inside her one last time.
“My Pearl!” I groan out while painting her blew insides white.
“MY DIAMOND!!!”

8 179Hit It Very Hard
When offered the chance to be someone else, to live as a fantasy character, people invariably gravitate towards a style of play centred on fancy maneuvres and flashy spellcraft that take multiple strategic steps to outwit opponents and win glory. Why not just cut out the middleman with a large axe and be done with it?

8 281The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
