'I should get better armour.' Peter was worried about his defence being too low. If he was to go fight against that demon, he would have to place a lot more mana for defence. Peter wasn't sure if the girls can tank the demon on their own. Either way, Peter decided to craft a few pieces of equipment for it.

Peter chose the blueprint from his guild database and decided to make one for Sicily first. He still didn't have a good armour that he could give to Anya. Since priests could only wear cloth armour he was out of his element when it comes to Mary.
The boss bear's pelt was perfect for the armour blueprint which Peter took out. The interface asked for steel bars, the pelt and a few cloth straps which he always had a few on him.
Following the systems instructions carefully, Peter could feel the armour set coming into being.

'Sicily just got super lucky.' Peter held the item for some time in his hand checking it out. The interface showed him the minor flaws in his work which took note of.
'The bow I gave her could only boost her fire affinity.' An idea clicked in his head as he went out to the city to try and buy the necessary stuff. He found the items at the auction house and came back to try and see what he could get.
Placing the bowstring and the oak shafts in the interface and selected the system template for a common bow. Slowly he started adding the crystal shards from the six elements onto an oak shaft.
The template showed a lower damage output due to the shaft getting recoil damage due to constant bending. Peter tried to embeds the shards to the extreme corners of the bow shaft far out of where the strings were to be struck. Afterwards to fix the streamline issues and the air friction, Peter had to slowly chip away the wood to make the bow smooth.

'That should make her propose to me.' He placed the bow in his inventory and started working on something for Anya. He knew Anya loved two-handed swords and her plate armour. 'How hard could it be'.
He took the few crystal shards he had but unlike bows, melee weapons could only handle one or two elements at a time. Peter decided to try and use fire, light and air crystals as they would complement one another. Placing his unique two-hander design into the template Peter decided to add the steel and crystal shards and started the project.
The three crystals were embedded into the handle. After grinding out any unwanted protrusions and polishing the outer surface, Peter finally finished his weapon.

Peter kept starting at the item feeling depressed that he couldn't wield it. He decided to take a short break as the work had burned him out.
Peter walked around the house, checked on the girls. He went out trying to breathe some fresh air. His mind kept thinking of a way for him to make something for Mary. 'I could try and make a healing staff. With a bit of light affinity maybe she could become an amazing damage dealer as well.'
As he strolled down the familiar pavements towards the park, his eyes caught a young man proposing to his girlfriend. An idea sparked in his brain instantly. 'Of course, that should work. Why didn't I think of it?' Peter rushed back to the house and quickly entered the cabin putting on the suit.
He spawned back right outside the rented room. Without bothering to check through the notifications he rushed towards the smithing area to get a few extra moulds. Within minutes he was back in his room trying out the different moulds. 'I hope these fit properly.' They were jewellery moulds.
Loading the system templates, Peter quickly started editing the blueprint. He chose to make a ring to test the effects. Light crystal shard replaced the typical rock and the rest of the ring was cast in steel. After countless efforts to smoother the edges, the system finally rewarded his efforts.

'Not bad, but not exactly what I was aiming for.' Peter kept it in his inventory and started thinking of how to further strengthen the healing effect. There were limited options for a ring but Peter decided to try and mix it with the other crystal shards in the template.
Soon he figured out the best combination for a healer's item.

'Much better. This should come in handy.' Peter kept it in his inventory with a smile. His eyes opened to a new world as he looked at the ring Alder gave resting on his finger. 'Why didn't I think of this before?'
While Peter was busy in the smithy, a huge storm was brewing on the game forums. The greed to be the first to kill the sentient boss made many large guilds match their troops into the Alderriver forest. The country's finest and world-class gaming studio Winterfall sent its best members to achieve this world achievement but we're wiped out by a free throw in their direction even before they could see their enemy.
The new magic arrows entered the market at this time which made the guilds more confident in killing it but the monster stood like a mountain that cannot be moved. The killed players took their anger towards the company asking them the logic behind letting such a monster spawn next to the beginner town. Heated arguments happened in the forums but soon we're disappointed as Tango sent out a post claiming that the monster wouldn't affect the rest of the map.
In the smithy, Peter was finally able to finish us a few more mana shard rings causing him to level up once more.

Peter finally relaxed having achieved what he started. 'A man is only as good as his things. Or was it thing?' Peter let a smile escape and slowly rose and left the room.
"Where are you guys at? I made some things for you." Peter called Sicily immediately.
"We are levelling in the western forest. Is it important?" "Yeah come to the shop in the port." "Fine. We are on our way."
The girls came over quickly to see what made Peter call them so urgently. "So, what did you make?" "Just these few items", Peter showed them the newly crafted things and the girls eagerly took them all. Sicily mumbled something to herself while Anya just kept holding the weapon and armour in her hand not sure what to do.
"So, what's with the tail?" Sicily asked looking up at the towering tail three meters above Peter's head. "Forget it. It's too difficult to explain l." "So you guys should try and kill that thing. I need to level my alchemy too."
"Just wait here, I'll be right back." Said Anya rushing towards the eastern forest.
After a few minutes of waiting around, a world announcement rang out.
Congratulations to Traveller Devil Bane of Black Flame for defeating the Sentient regional boss Frendoz Nightwig Junior. Player rewarded with +5000 fame, title: Demon Slayer.
"She didn't..." Sicily had a stunned look as she looked at the devil who was back at the gate, now slowly approached the group with a smile on her face.
"Sister Rose, how did I do? Awesome right?"
