Peter landed near the entrance to Hedgesnow and quickly cast the remodel spell. He rushed in towards the town hall to meet with Alder.

"Why are you panting so much? What happened?" Asked Alder who too became worried.

"There was a demon in the forest," Peter said while gasping for air. Peter slowly calmed down and was soon forced to spill out every detail by Alder.

"Looks like we have an emergency at hand. They must have tunnelled through some other way." Alder got up and walked towards her desk. "I'm afraid I can't directly get involved again. I was already scolded heavily for the last time. I will post a quest then. Would you like a head start?"

"I don't think I can handle it alone. Sorry."

"That's only reasonable. If it's a sentient demon like you said it should be extremely powerful. Getting not killed is already a blessing. By the way, I like that tail of yours. Try and keep it away from my skirt will you?" Peter was too distracted to notice his tail slowly crawling towards Alder's legs.

"No, I mean yes. Sorry."

"So you got a race change as well. Good for you. Well, I will post the quest on the town quest board. I hope someone will go and kill it fat or I will have to request for soldiers from the port."

Quest complete

Alder's impression of you improved slightly.

You received a new quest.

Active Quest

1. Ahead of the herd

Form a party and kill the sentient demon lurking in Alderriver forest. (Optional)

Peter ignored the quest and decided to log out.

It was almost morning and the ladies were sitting around the table joking. Peter joined them as they thanked him for the new items they received.

"So, how is the guild building going?" Letter asked Sicily.

"Nothing much. It's still the three of us. We never get around to recruiting more players."

"So, what about it? Have you guys decided yet?"

"Decide what?"

"Joining us."

"We thought about it." Anya looked at Sicily.

"Well, I think it will be fine. But you have to make me a guild leader."

"I was going to anyway. So, what about the contract?"

"It's ok I talked with Angelou. She said she will make it void later."

"Thank you. I will need your help soon. There is a sentient tier boss in the eastern forest that we need to kill."

"Is it the new quest that was just released? It's making so many people go mad over."

"We aren't strong enough to deal with it yet. I was planning to make a few new items and level up a bit before. I will send the join request soon. With you guys reaching 40, we should be able to unlock the guild traits as well."

"Make sure to get us some awesome armours as well. We have good weapons but need stronger armour."

"Don't worry about it. The guild is busy making some bear pelt armours. I will get something awesome for you guys."

"Ok. And thanks for that bow." Sicily added seeing Peter get up and walk towards his room.

"No worries, I will send the request later today so you can join."

Peter went to his room and prepared to sleep.

The alarm went off waking Peter around 10. He came out after a quick bath to see the girls' cabins occupied. Smiling a bit Peter left looking forward to playing.

He spawned back where he logged out and left towards his office. After entering and giving Annie orders to sort the herbs for him to use later. Peter went to the area he designed for smithing. He opened his profile to check what he received from the job change.

Magic Blacksmith

Someone who knows his way with a hammer and magic. With his creative mind, he surpassed the norm creating artefacts that are often desired by the mighty.

Class traits:

Mana spells: Creator can assign magical properties for the items released using the mana of the wielder. Requires the creator owning the corresponding spell crafter skill tomes.

Rune smithing: Weapons with built-in traits can be crafted with knowledge in runes. Requires rune knowledge, Level 50

Magic smithing skills:

- Handcrafted: All handcrafted items have a higher chance of becoming a magic weapon.

- Superior: Any lack of skill is compensated with magic.

All crafted weapons reach more than 5 in quality.

Peter took out a few steel bars that he had in his inventory. There were huge changes to the details that he could now see in on the bar. Some places required him to use mana to melt and mould the alloy again. He started working on it and tried making a new sword. The work took some time as he tried to complete it as perfectly as he could following the system instructions.

Peter created ten more such swords and then placed them in his inventory to sent to his shop later.

He went through his database and saw the arrow blueprint. 'This should help Sicily. The invitation!' He forgot the invitation and quickly sent the girls guild invites.

Frost Fang Arrows Blueprint(R)

He took out the fangs, a steel bar and the ice shards. The interface quickly sorted through and gave Peter a rundown of what to do. The fang goes at the tip with the ice shard right behind. The metal had to be melted and coated over in such a way to make the tip smooth. The metal was also required to strengthen the shaft after the tip was done. From the looks of the arrow, there was a higher chance it would destroy on impact.

Peter worked on the arrow and soon he was able to craft one again of lower quality.

You created a frost fang arrow. Completion rate: 90%. Reach completion rate of 95% to mass-produce the item.

You created a rare item. You gained 500 experience.

Frost fang arrow x10(R)

An arrow capable of causing frost damage

Creator: Blackbeak

Quality: 5

+50 ice damage

Mana Cost: 20

AP: INT*ice damage*mana cost

'Well, try again.' He repeated the process more carefully and achieved what he needed.

You created a frost fang arrow. Completion rate: 97%. Item data added to your database.

You created a rare item. You gained 2000 experience.

Frost fang arrow x10(R)

A high-quality arrow capable of causing frost damage

Creator: Blackbeak

Quality: 9

+90 ice damage

Mana Cost: 20

AP: INT*ice damage*mana cost

The item was added into the database and Peter used the option to start mass-producing the arrows. He was able to make 300 arrow sets before he ran out of fangs.

He left the office looking for the auction house and placed one arrow set in the auction house set for 24 hours. 'What better advertisement can you get.' Soon a frenzy started online as archers started talking about the frost fang arrows.

Although the items he now created didn't change much compared to the older job, there was a qualitative boost in its appearance and strength compared to before.

Peter decided to leave for the port again to buy a few extra crystal shards to test craft other arrows when he received a call for Sicily.

"Peter what are you doing? Take that arrow off the market. I want it."

"Relax, I have plenty."

"You can mass craft it?"

"Obviously."

"Ok, I need a few of them."

"Fine. Did you join the guild? I will place them in the guild bank and restrict it for you."

"I joined an hour ago."

Peter cut the call off and made her a guild leader. Then he left towards the bank to place the items in the guild storage so she can take them out.

'That's that.'

Peter left for Port Blair and soon reached the mage guild. He bought as much crystal shards as he could get his hands on. Soon his inventory was filled to the brim. x2000 fire crystal shards, x1000 water crystal shards, x2000 ice crystal shards, x4000 earth crystal shards, x200 light crystal shards, x10 void crystal shards.

He bought all the shards that he could think of that could help him. With the shards averaging over 1000 gold each, Peter saw a huge dip in his gold. It took out nearly a million gold from his inventory.

The frost arrows completely changed the concept of archery damage. Even if someone only had 20 points in intelligence, due to the added ice damage, the output damage became extremely high.(check [1] for reference)

Since there were no other craftsmen capable of making the magic arrows at the time, Peter had a monopoly over the market. He went to the crafting area in the city and looked for a private room. It cost him very high to book the room for a couple of hours."

After making sure he had everything he needed he started loading the frost fang arrow blueprint but alternated the crystal shard with a fire shard.

After half an hour of careful crafting, he finally created his first personal magic arrow.

You created an inferior fire fang arrow. Completion rate: 100%. Item data added to your database.

You created a rare item. You gained 2000 experience.

Inferior fire fang arrow x50(R)

A lower quality arrow created by imitation.

Creator: Blackbeak

Quality: 5

+50 fire damage

Mana Cost: 5

AP: INT*fire damage*mana cost

After a few hours of working on different shards, Peter was finally able to create the rest of the similar arrows apart from the light and dark affinity.

After brainstorming a bit, Peter decided to remove the fangs and try creating them with just the crystal shards. The interface couldn't help as there were no templates for it. Using the tip of the crystal shard as his bolt, Peter worked and finally created his first light arrow.

You created a light arrow. Completion rate: 95%. Item data added to your database.

You created a rare item. You gained 8000 experience.

Light arrow x20(R)

A light arrow capable of healing its target.

Creator: Blackbeak

Quality: 9

+90 light damage

Mana Cost: 5

Heal Power: INT*light damage*mana cost

'Let's see', Peter took out the void shard to try and make his final arrow. The void shard cost him extremely high and wasn't something he could waste.

He worked on it and slowly proceeded to finish the arrow.

You created a void arrow. Completion rate: 96%. Item data added to your database.

You created a legendary item. You gained 15000 experience.

Void arrow x5(L)

Piercing through the hardest of armour a void arrow cannot be deflected or stopped.

Creator: Blackbeak

Quality: 8

+80 void damage

Mana Cost: 100

AP: INT*void damage*mana cost

'No wonder the void arrow cost so much.' Peter placed in his inventory and decided not to make anything anymore. He left for his shop and started placing the arrows for sale.

Placing sets of arrows in, Peter chose to place them as bidding in his shop with a minimum of 1000 gold each. After that, he sent out a regional message drawing everyone's attention to his new shop in Port Blair.
