“Ah, its squishing it dead!”

Talcum hated the child’s queries but he couldn’t simply let her watch without understanding the full breath of the show thus not absorbing its artfulness.

This was one of the few shows he liked even if he saw it as mediocre. At this point, no title could be considered good.

Two hours and a half later, the show ended. With that its full season 1 was over and Talcum had to wait for another Nexus year before there was more of this show.

“More. More!”

“Aren’t you tired little miss?”

“No! Let’s watch more.”

‘Ah a characteristic of biological infants. An overabundance of energy.’

Since the child liked this particular show, Talcum searched for others in a similar genre.

“That one. Spikes and knights!”

“That’s not as good young missy.”

“What about that one with a shaman and that large tree?”

“It’s even worse cinematography and music. The director is a newbie too.”

The child simply chose ones with the flashiest and coolest looking cover art. Of course, Talcum couldn’t let her choose a subpar and money-grubbing show. They continued choosing the film and he would veto the child’s choice every time.

The little human was getting annoyed and Talcum wasn’t equipped with the knowledge to care for her so he had to compromise. There was this one show he found bearable amongst the sea of trash.

They watched the show for four hours. One having never seen it and another having so but was gauging her reactions. To Talcum’s disappointment, the child liked it. Very much so that she was singing the theme song and even copying the characters.

‘How could she like such a base show?’

No, he couldn’t stop the anger building in him. For something so rotten with flaws it was more pus than what it originally once was.

‘There all these things that can be done to improve it!’

When child said her goodbyes, thoughts in the same vein consumed his mind. Enough so that he wrote all the changes he would’ve done if he was the creator of that show.

‘No, these must be proved in actuality.’

Writing these short notes was the beginning of a thesis in mana was and to be truly scientific, Talcum must prove it in experiment.

So, he wrote a full script of the better show and by the next morning he was done with half. He read it and saw the greatness contained within.

‘Child, I will show you a true great piece of art.’

However, Talcum doesn’t know if the little girl would have patience to read a script.

‘So be it then. I will show you craftsmanship. It will be great. It will be- Cinema.’
