One of the guards threw Yui onto the hard concrete, the crackling sound of bones being crushed scared the shit out of Hitora. She screamed in pain, begging for mercy. One of the guards pulled out a axe, and slammed it onto the back of the helpless high schooler. Crimson red splattered axcroos the floor, and desperate screams of agony filled the room. The brutal woman looked on smiling and laughing as Hitora screamed for them to stop.
“STOP PLEASE STOP!” shouted Hitora.
The guard lifted her up and threw into the ground, her body tumbled. The guards swung the axe again, this time at her leg. They slowly dismembered her body, as she was conscious making sure she alive to experience this pure agony. Her screams and pleas replayed over Hitora mind until she was nothing but a bloody mess, but her face was still tilted to Hitora. The scene replayed in his mind repeatedly, he was vomiting, and scared out of his mind. The woman stood in her seating laughing at him, as Hitora was crying and wailing. Shit, please someone, help me.
“Do it, kill him – slowly.”
“No, PLEASE, PLEASE!”
The guard walked over and pulled the axe out of the corpse of Yui. And swung it down onto Hitora, the pain shot up from his torso like fire. He cringed. It exploded in his head. Hitora lurched violently screaming obscenities. The pain was like needles dipped in pure alcohol and stabbed violently into every part of his body. His head throttled, as the guard kicked his onto the ground. The guards pulled out a strange device, that was being propelled towards Hitora eyes.
“Stop!Stop!stop!”
Hitora screamed.
…..
Hitora writhed in pain, the pain tormenting him as he tried to ignore it. He had screamed for hours, every second making Hitora begging for his life to end. Blood, tears and vomit covered his pile of filth that was his body.

“please…kill…me.” A small croak escaped Hitora.
He was in a dark room. Still with the tormenting pain. A dark bellow he heard faintly in the darkest corner of his mind. There were a dark presence in the back of his mind, quietly laughing. They tormented him, like a bunch of school yard bullies but worse. His mind was a maze, a maze of agony and pain. And there was no way to escape, and the dark presence made sure he could not escape. Hitora had given up, but there was no choice. It was here and stay in agony or escape. But it was impossible. Hitora could not see anything. He only felt his way around his cell.
He couldn’t access his memories or his status screens. All he could hear was voices, voices telling him to kill himself. Voices laughing at him. He crawled, dragging his body, opening some of the wounds, bloods spilling. By this time, the writhing and intolerable pain didn’t even affect his conscious anymore. It only had made him mentally unstable and crazy. He pulled himself towards the door and dragged his heavy body up. It was like pushing a great weight off his shoulders. Some how he had healed rapidly. But he still could not see anything.
“I want my fucking eyes back…”
His eyesight was returning except everything was obscure and weird. No colours or anything, only weird colours highlighted spots. Good. He grabbed the door and pushed it with all his strength. He pushed relentlessly until the door burst open. I feel stronger… weird.
Hitora looked at his body, it looked as if his body was only partly done. You could see some of his organs, you could see his heart pumping blood to the arteries. But it looked as if some of his skin was quickly regenerating, but his skin was weird, kind of like orc skin, hard and crusty, with patches of his human skin. His body looked sturdier and thicker in some parts, but some of his organs were still exposed.

Jackal Among Snakes: GameLit Fantasy Progression
The royal bastard of House Vasquer, Argrave, has changed after his stay studying magic at the Tower of the Gray Owl. The sickly man's awkward posture and cruel behavior have been replaced with a neat dignity and acerbic wit. His listless life has found a path of undeniable purpose. Most come away thinking he seems to know too many details about too much. Few can claim to know his motives or his goals. Behind the scenes, though, the primary contributor for an open-world RPG's wiki battles existential dread and things far beyond his ken as he struggles to adapt to a grim, gothic fantasy world that he had the misfortune to claim as his favorite game. This is his tale. #####What to expect from this story##### This piece is a high-fantasy style story, featuring many of the species and surroundings one might expect to find in such a world. The cultures are original and well-developed, with the primary setting being a European-style feudal society. Warfare, fell beasts, and natural disasters are commonplace in Berendar, and take the center of many plots. The protagonist is a smooth-talker, but the world does not exist for him; he must struggle to gain power. Expect daily releases until we catch up to my backlog.
