《The Celestial Games》Chapter 19: Xiol (2)

Yeah seriously what have I gotten myself into? 1,000 soldiers, armed with weapons which engineering his far from what have I experienced on earth and on top of this, they’re probably infused with magic. The armour on the soldiers are not you’re usual fantasy armour, they’re emitting a strange blue colour, the gauntlets seem as if they’re filled with power, with the helmet you cannot see a single face in any of these soldiers, it seems as if they’re ranked, I stem this assumption – rooted on the fact that they armours have different forms, and ‘power’.
But despite this incredibly intimidating army, the leading general is extremely scary, on a whole different level. In front of me was this general, his armour shining a beautiful and elegant white, if an ordinary person saw him, they’d think he were some warrior angel, but to me this guy was stupidly powerful paladin.
He had an incredibly handsome face, these looks were nothing compared to what people see on earth, it was as if every inch of his face was made by master sculptor, his face was intricately designed. He had long white hair, not the girly type, more like the stuff you’d see on an ancient martial hero. In his hand was a simple ‘staff’, judging from this world it could be a tool used to cast spells or used as an actual weapon.
The nearby area was quite beautiful contrary to what people would think of a ‘stereotypical’ dungeon, there were unnaturally green grasses waving and strange vegetation growing, to the left of me was a secluded area of massive tree’s as tall as skyscrapers. Despite the radiating sun, there was a mysterious darkness between the tree’s. It reminded me of the place where the Ewoks from Star Wars would live.

“Are you the Guild that defeated the 12th floors boss?” said a cold, arrogant voice.
The shear emotionlessness peered from the man’s voice, despite this heat my body shivered with fear. I regained my composure, and looked the man straight into his eyes, to show that I’m his equal. Those stern cold eyes… they were horrifying, when you looked into his eyes, it was as if it was telling the stories of his misery’s, suffering, pain that shaped him into a stern cold iron.
“Yes, so what if we were…?! What are you planning to do?!” I said in a harsh and rash voice.
It was only natural that I size up to him, of coarse a man of his calibre is to be reckoned with – it’s vital to show that you’re not easy prey when in the presence of a predator.
I looked besides me, Yui was tightly squeezing my hand, Elizabeth was clenching her fist, sweat dispersed from her forehead, Lehtrious and the others were, at the least very scared.
This man must’ve had a very sinister reputation for everyone to be scared. I looked back at everyone, and I saw Chandrelle. She was smirking victoriously, as her white strands of hair blew from the refreshing gusts of winds. He blue eyes glinted from her sense of superiority, she grinned, her fist clenched from the adrenaline pumping through her veins. This was most likely since she had an incredibly powerful set of legendary and cheat items.
I pray to god that she doesn’t do anything stupid after all she was only sixteen, and her aura of calm and elegance always disperses in situations like these and of course when her tits are grabbed.
The man’s icy steel façade did not show any signs of surprise from my words, only a slight sense of anger was expelled from him. It was as if he had total control over his external appearance.
“So you are, who would’ve thought you’d defeat the 12th floor boss and the dungeon’s administrator… Ah well, do you have the Rexronic Core, it was the item that was advertised, it’s only obtainable today, it’s a rather common core that I wouldn’t mind having it, do you happen to have it?”
