Chapter 12- DevilishTraining(1)

Tie Ya led Qing Yan out of the cave just as the sun rose, they walked for an hour before arriving at a little clearing with 3 trees that looked strong and durable, each one at least 20 meters tall and 3 meters wide, Yin Ya walked over to the tree and placed his palm on the trunk. He turned his head slightly so he could see Qing Yan whom was behind him.

"Qing Yan, this move is called the palm of disintegration, it is a very simple attack, it is usually used with the intent to kill. You place your palm onto the target, concentrate your spirit energy into you palms, then expel it into the body of the target, control the spirit energy and make sure that it spreads towards all parts of the target, the important part of this technique is to repeat the attack as many times as possible in the shortest amount of time."

He turned back towards the tree, the air around him rippled and his hair was blown upwards, the way it was blown seemed wild, but it was not messy, there was a certain natural harmony to it, as if the wind and his hair were one. at first there was nothing.

But then as if hundreds of thousands of years have past, the tree turned into ash and disintegrated, there was no sound, the only proof the tree was ever there was the hole that had intricate little tunnels where the tree had taken root and grown.

Tie Ya turned back towards Qing Yan, with a proud smile on his face, "That is what happens when you do it 10 times in one second, 10 times and it disintegrated, the amount of times you have to do it to disintegrate a human is different of course, as they have varying toughness and strength."

He waited for Qing Yan to praise him and ask him to teach her this move immediately, he didn't know why, but he felt that deep inside of him there is a desire to be recognized and praised by Qing Yan. Contrary to his expectations however, Qing Yan looked at him with a blushed face and spoke, "um...It is a very good move, but eh... I am still in the body tempering stage, I can't manipulate and utilize spirit energy.."

Tie Ya nearly spat out blood as his stupidity dawned on him, rather than look powerful and knowledgeable he had instead looked dumb. A crow flew above them and cawed" Stupid Stupid Stupid"*, Tie Ya's lips twitched as he snapped his fingers, causing the crow to explode in creating a cloud of feathers. Qing Yan of course was unable to see this otherwise she would have reprimanded him for being cruel and killed unnecessarily.

Tie Ya rubbed his nose, as he recovered from his act of stupidity, he gave her an apologetic look and cleared his throat, "haha, I forgot that your seal hasn't been removed yet, my bad, my bad. Alright, this time i'll show you an apporpriate move", he walked over to the other tree and had his legs slightly crouched.

" we wolves hunt in packs, however after breaking through to being a rank 3 beast, most would go their own separate ways, so we have to develop skills that can make us just as effective as when we were in packs, this move is called whirl wind slash, it is only truly useful once you are in the apprentice realm, but it can still be used to some extent in the body tempering realm."

He stopped speaking and suddenly he disappeared, reappearing behind the tree, followed by sounds of wind rushing. four cuts on the front, sides and back of the tree appeared, they weren't deep, but this had all happened in a second.

"Qing Yan, this move utilizes your ability to turn mid jump, I will do it again but this time slower", he walked back to where he was before jogging towards the tree, and slashed the tree with three of his fingers, before using his left leg to pivot to the side and slashed at the tree again, he then using the momentum did it to the back and other side of the tree. before walking back to where he was.

" This is a simple move, you won't be able to do what I did initially, unless you use spirit energy to propel yourself, however you can still do it in a very fast speed by training your legs and balance."

Juse as he finished speaking he appeared in front of Qing Yan and flicked her forehead, causing her to fall backwards because of the sudden and unexpected action.

Qing Yan rubbed her slightly sore butt, and glared at Tie Ya with puffed up cheeks, Tie ya responded with a toothy grin, showing both of his sharp canines, "humph jerk!"

Qing Yan crossed her arms and turned her head sideways, what Tie Ya did was outrageous! how could he surprise her like that, she was angry at him, she decided that she will ignore him for the rest of the day as revenge. However a pleasant smell filled her nostrils, she turned around and only to see Tie Ya holding a steaming sweet potato.

He waved it at her "I see that your balance needs a lot of practice, now its still early 3 hours before 9 am, repeat what I did until then, if your effort satisfies me then you can eat. " Qing Yan glared at him again, she felt wronged, how can someone be this hateful!

Tie Ya saw her expression and couldn't help but feel happy, he didn't know why but he felt joy teasing her like this, (Author's note: Maybe he is an S?),

" Oh and by the way you'll have weights put on your legs, hips and arms." he whistled as he brought out the weights and tied it to Qing Yan, during which she tried to grab the still steaming sweet potato out of his hand, failing each time.

When he was done tying the weights to her, Tie Ya winked at Qing Yan and took a bite out of the steaming sweet potato,he didn't normally eat potatoes or sweet potatoes, he always felt like they were too bitter for his taste and didn't have the satisfaction of meat, however this time the sweet potato in his mouth tasted very sweet and satisfying.
