《Beast Games》After Dark 7: Berand versus Cyras

Richard Biggs: Here we are with another lovely little episode of After Dark.

Richard Littles: And we have a new blood coming out, Cyras, who will be facing off against Berand for a chance at the belt.

Richard Biggs: But first, we have a promo from JAC.

***

JAC sat in the ice cream shop, no ice cream pack around him. "Swillow, what happened?"

Upon the megascreen flashed several eyeballs, crimson with black pupils.

"What happened to me? Maybe I've lost a sense on who I was. I go around, saying I am the Savior, JAC. All four forms, I am JAC. Never am I in agreeance with myself on what to do."

Voices whispered in the background, as JAC collapsed in a corner, and put his hands over his head. "Four voices. Four different thoughts, as each day I end up regretting what happened the last day. It seems all I do is a crime."

The screen turned to static as JAC appeared with the Reaper's hoodie on. "One day, it seems like darkness has a hold on my soul. Where I say this is what the situation is, and the only thing I can do is get revenge. And that's my most realist side. Until then..."

Screen went static. JAC reappeared with a tie, and a suit on. "Thankfully, some days I feel great about myself! I am the Hedon, I am able to love who I am! And I'm able to realize how great I am, and forgo Swillow, and go on with my life - who cares about Swillow, am I right?" And he stared into the screen.

More static. "Or maybe I'm just the planner, and extraordinary person. A large than life person. Someone who is able to get back with Swillow."

More static, "But last and least is the Survivor. All I am is Survivor's guilt. I put Swillow with the crown. Maybe I should be the one wearing a crown?"

Last bit of static before it shut off.

A bunch of crimson eyes floated upon the screen for a few seconds before ending.

Richard Littles: Well that was demonic ironically.

Richard Biggs: So onto our main event, Cyras versus Berand.

Richard Woods: This is a Beast Game! Your After Dark main event, starring Berand!

The bear roared from off stage, then jumped over the audience to land in a roll leading up to the ring.

Richard Biggs: That athleticism.

Richard Woods: And his opponent-

Flame jets roared at a ruby colored fox ran down the ring. She slunk in, and grinned at him.

Richard Woods: Cyras!

Richard Biggs: This is the debut of Cyras, what should we know about her?

Richard Littles: Well she's a fox goddess for one, the goddess of karma to be exact.

Doing his best not to be upstaged, the bear jumped backward up to the ring, grabbing the top rope and swinging around to land heavily inside the arena, before raising his arms wide and roaring to the crowd.

Cyras lit her tail on fire, and soon she had nine flaming tails. She waved them around.

The bell rang. Without any further ado, Berand dropped to all fours and charged at the firefox. Cyras slapped her tails of fire at Berand. An explosion consumed the ring.

Blasted upward by the plume of flames, the bear went sailing out of the ring, into and through a nearby table.

Richard Biggs: My goodness, that Cyras sure has a lot of power in those tails.

Richard Littles: That was the Nine Tails. Cyras is able to inflict damage equal to the bad karma of someone else.

Richard Biggs: And by Rexcelsis, he has a lot of bad karma.

The table shattered underneath Berand's massive weight. Cyras said, "Meet my nine tails. As I hit you with it, you go down. So, how about next time, we try something a bit less harsh just for you?"

"A shame," the bear said, still facing the broken remnants of the table, "since that means I'll have to use more force!" Berand spun around, and hurled a table shard toward Cyras.

Richard Biggs: Shot putting a table!

The shard hit Cyras jaw, and she flinched back. She moved her lower jaw up and down. "Ow... You brute! Well, guess I'll just have to take the fight down to you." She ran down off the ring.

Grabbing the other half of the table to use as a makeshift shield, the bear charged Cyras. But he tripped over a small pillar of stone Cyras made arise from the ground. Berand smashed the rock, lost his shield, and fell onto all fours.

Cyras ran over behind Berand. Her paws glowed with embers. She was about to use- "Karma spanks!" Cyras rapidly slapped at Berand's butt, jets of flames coming from the backs of her paws as thousands of slaps landed within seconds.

Richard Biggs: We're seeing Cyras giving Berand a, um, a spankering.

Richard Littles: And that also takes advantage of karma.

As the heat ran through the bear's fur, every ember catching the hair alight was put out instantly by another slap. When the bear reacted by jumping straight up into the air, the entire audience could see how the bear had been completely de-furred in that particular spot.

Cyras smirked and she ran over into the ring, then jumped out in a suicide dive.

As the bear descended back to earth, the fox slid through the ropes and slammed directly into his stomach. That may have been a slight miscalculation, as that put her directly in the grasp of a falling bear that massively out-massed her.

Cyras was stuck in his belly button, and Berand picked her out like lint. He threw her back into the ropes into the ring. He ascended the turn buckle, and faced inward toward the stunned newcomer.

Cyras ran up onto the turnbuckle. She wasn't able to lift up Berand. Still, she was able to use her tail to slap his thigh. He windmilled his arms frantically, trying to maintain his balance.

And then he fell back onto the non padded floor.

Richard Biggs: And there's a smack down from Berand.

Berand rolled onto his side, rocking back and forth, while Cyras brought out a bunch of tacks. She spilled them.

Richard Biggs: And Cyras with the shimmery pain.

Richard Littles: Those are going to hurt.

Cyras raised the ground with earth magic to make a little ramp so he'd roll into it. As Berand rolled over the tacks, he growled. He sat up, only to get five little spikes in his behind.

Cyras laughed at the bear, and mooned him.

This was starting to get on Berand's nerves. Making a weak point, and then targeting that weak point? That was tactics, a very non-bear-like trait. Flipping back up onto all fours, he charged directly at the fox once more.

Cyras jumped onto his back in time, like a bull. He was about to run into the ring post, but Berand turned around to slam her into the pole.

Split second, Cyras jumped out of the way, and Berand's back meat slammed into the support structure. The ring shuddered, but Berand jumped forward. As Cyras landed, he met her with an elbow drop, blowing out Cyras' breath.

Richard Biggs: Spine breaking elbow drop.

Richard Littles: Really drove that point into her back.

Cyras almost cracked the back of a rib. As Berand took deep breaths, Cyras made a ring of flames around herself, and scrambled up. Berand raised his arms in a crossguard as he stepped backward away from the heat. More ancient bear wisdom: do not stand in fire.

Cyras said, "Now, Ahmond!"

Richard Biggs: Ahmond, of the ice cream pack?

Berand leaned against a barricade, only for a wolf coyote to jump onto the barricade and kick him in the jaw. Berand swung backwards, as rage filled his body. He transformed...

Into a bear!

The bear grabbed the interloper and threw her at the fox. Ahmond screamed, but Cyras grabbed her and flipped over so the fox was on top.

Richard Biggs: The Spanish Fly!

Berand decided to join in on the fun, and jumped up onto the both of them with a body slam, adding a front flip to style on them. Mocha waves came from Ahmond as she energized both. Instead, they lifted up Berand, and power bombed him, butt first, into the shimmering pain.

Absolutely enraged by the repeated assault on his backside, Berand struggled up from the field of silver, and limped to the side of the ring. He flipped the ring over.

Neither girl was on the ring at the time, but damn. Cyras said, "I think I can tap him out. One more time..." She prepared Karma Spanks, while Ahmond increased Cyras' strength. And she ran at Berand, but Berand shot an eye beam at Cyras.

Cyras flew back, and skidded on the floor. Burn marks steamed off of Cyras, as Ahmond stood in silence.

Richard Littles: Ahmond is directly in the bear's path!

The bear roared, smoke rising from his right eye. He took a slow step toward the wolf.

Ahmond said, "Wait, wait, I'm not part of this match, she is!"

Somehow the words managed to penetrate into the rage-addled mind of the bear, who charged forward to hit Cyras with a leaping body slam. Cyras was squashed.

A foot emerged from under Berand, before she climbed out beneath him. "How dare you!" she told Ahmond. She grabbed Ahmond, and threw her over the barricade, so her butt was in the air.

Cyras turned back to Berand, only for Berand to jump into Cyras.

The barricade flipped over as Berand speared Cyras down.

Richard Biggs: Thunderous spear. That is over 400 pounds worth of body weight in that spear.

Richard Littles: If you thought JAC was impactful with his spears, then you've seen nothing yet.

Berand grabbed the ring, took a deep breath, and heaved it back up. He reverted back to normal bear form, and grabbed the two lightweights by the scruff of the neck. He gently slid them back into the ring, before struggling himself up.

He grabbed Cyras' leg, and spun around for a figure four leg lock.

Cyras' eyes widened, and she screamed from the pain before tapping out to Berand.

Richard Woods: Your winner by submission, and still your Darkest Champion, Berand!

Letting go of Cyras, he turned around and faced his behind toward her. "Get those tacks out, would you."

Cyras stared at his big butt. "Why would I?"

"Because-" Berand began, only for him to be grabbed. He fell face forward from the ring onto the floor.

JAC rolled back up.

Richard Biggs: Why, it's JAC. We just saw him cutting a promo.

Richard Littles: What is he doing?

JAC went over to the announce desk, and began ripping gear from it. As Berand stood, JAC ran over and speared into him. "Better spear, like hell."

JAC escorted Berand over to the barren table, but Berand lifted JAC onto his shoulders, before jumping up and smashing both. The table and the floorboards underneath broke under their combined weights.

The Richards stared down into the pits.

Richard Biggs: It seems next week we'll have JAC versus Berand for the belt.

Richard Littles: Berand has never beaten JAC before, but will this be the first time ever?

Richard Biggs: Who knows? After all, Berand has never been pinned by JAC, and has only lost due to technicalities. Anyway, that's our show for today. We'll see you tomorrow with Beast Games...
