《CHAOS: The Youth and The World of Wonders.》DEEP HELL-5- A Weight He Couldn't Carry.

Well, nothing happened. He looked after Roar, avoided the glares of Ruria, dreamed about the upper world, and had a few chats with the one inside him. All people had desires, even the one inside.
Roar was a blessing to his parents. Most of the day smiling, laughing to the tiniest jokes, or even a break in one's voice. He was a jovial child. His presence in a house only cheered the rest. He understood why his sister cared so much about him. Because a jovial person would always seem innocent. But the youth didn't quite agree with that. Roar smiled genuinely, but he knew and understood each topic and each situation. When Roar laughed loudly, he was nervous which happened whenever his sister tried to debate with the youth. When Roar's right eye flinched in a smile, it meant he lied. But all of his smiles were genuine because Roar himself wasn't aware of that, but the youth was.
The past three days only made the youth like Roar more. The child who understood everything found a smile to be the best way to enlighten the mood.
"Staaaaaaaaahp!" Roar shouted his lungs out. He was mounting the youth’s shoulders and the youth was spinning fiercely. But the youth didn't stop. He only stopped when Ruria jumped from the door at his leg, her nose creased in anger as she glared at his eyes.
"Want to try?" the youth asked.
"On my death."
The youth looked at the door, his eyes staring for a few seconds, "Ruria, your parents are here."
"What really!" Roar shouted as his head spun around dizzily.
"Are you lying?"
"No, they are at the door of the cave for sure."
Ruria glared at him for a second then left the room. He bent down for Roar to dismount and then sat on his mattress waiting for the parents to come.
Yea, he wasn't comfortable. Even though nothing appeared on his face, his heart for sure raised. But he was excited as well, for he will eventually know more about the place he was in, and most importantly, about the way to go back to the upper world.
He decided to work for a few years, save the money for a ten-year journey, and then work for another few years and thus. With no thoughts of marriage or a prolonged job.
And seeking his own memories was the least important thing, actually, he didn't even want to seek them. Forgetting them was a blessing after all.
His light self took a deep breath and closed his eyes. They were talking to each other. A thick voice that most likely belonged to the dad was annoying because the children hugged his wife first. The youth smiled.
Then the kids told the parents that he had woke up, and the steps got rushed and heavy and the door slammed the rock wall.
The youth widened his eyes for a second. Their father was young, in his thirties, his red hair was waving like a flame, his eyes red and his beard trimmed and looked way lighter than his sharp mustache, all of his hair red.
"You're really awake!" the father eyes trembled. "We thought you will never wake up."
The youth stood and bowed in gratitude.
"Really, thank you."
Without there help, he wasn't sure if he would be alive. if that was to happen he wouldn't have known anything and would never be able to have a simple ambition of solo venturing. The youth was ambitious as well. And he wanted to show at least what he could for gratitude.

"Please raise your head. We only helped you because we could. It's a normal thing."
The father couldn't hide his sweat. For the youth that was asleep since his childhood, to wake up when they lost all hope… it was a surprise.
When the youth rose, he saw the children's mother and his eyes blinked. She looked so noble. Her dress was light blue, wide and fluffy, and a white belt that tied all of her waists showed how slim her figure was. If he didn't hear the father's trouble about why his children hugged her, he would say that this man was only guarding her.
The woman, no, the lady gripped her dress and slightly bowed. "Happy to meet you, sir..."
"Anything is fine. A human is good."
She rose up, her lips parting a little.
"It's just I don't know my name, or anything else." as the youth said that, the father looked at his fingertips and the smoke that kept floating around him.
"Why can't you control your mana flow?"
"Dear, first we need to know more about him. He doesn't even know his name."
"Yea true."
Roar entered, and gripped the youth's pajama. "Big bro is amazing, he can build anything with his smoke. He's a real magician."
"Haha. yea, he looks like a profound noble for sure," said his father, sweat still coming off his forehead as he glanced at the youth's fingertips.
The father then looked at his wife, his face asking with sweat about what to do next. And after a sigh, with her calm look, the mother asked Ruria to take Roar and go out for some time because they wanted to talk with the youth.
But out of their mind, Roar didn't need his sister to go out, but he went before her.
And the room became for only the three of them.
The air was hard to swallow, each one of them had questions to ask. The youth was a weird one to the couple while the couple and the whole place were weird to the youth.
Broke the silence a deep breath of the mother, she exhaled slowly and with sparkling ocean eyes introduced herself, "Sabrina, from the water user clan. Hope to help you as much as possible, but I don't think we could help you much." she then pointed at her husband, "Callus is my husband. But in front of our people, he's just a servant that accompanies me wherever I go."
In the end, the youth wasn't wrong. Mr. Callus' clothes were more of lower-tiers. They weren't defective at all. He wore a nice cotton shirt with a few open buttons that extended from his collar to his chest. His shirt was belted under a fine black leather trouser and showed how formal it was. Unlike his wife, Mr. Callus' clothes were light and hard to use in such a cold environment.
"Well, what shall we call you?" Ms. Sabrina asked, her voice calm, quiet, and clear, just like her eyes. A noble for sure. Even for a man who knew nothing about nobility, he for sure accepted that this lady was of a high standard.
"Anything is fine, you can call me human."
The couple looked at each other, their eyes curling in worry. But soon enough, Mr. Callus talked and entered the topic directly, "do you know that you don't belong here?"
The youth nodded.
"That makes the explanation easier."
And then Mr.Callus looked at his wife, "you can explain things better."

She nodded, moved her lips and the situation became clear to the youth… the youth who survived what none had.
The upper world wasn't safe, not for anyone. It had many species and they continuously fought with each other, for power, for food, for climate, and just for enjoyment. It was a chaotic world.
"But that said, we don't know anything about the upper world," said Ms.Sabrina. "We were born here, our ancestors came here 8 centuries ago, and the reason is something only the elders know."
The clan of fire and water weren't the best place to live. The couple told the youth that it's full of racism and rarely the red-eyed people and the blue-eyed people liked each other. And that was why the couple's marriage was a secret.
"There are many problems in our clan. And they left the rest of the humans up and came down for a reason for sure," said Ms.Sabrina. "That's why we don't encourage you to meet them."
The youth was someone new to this place. He belonged to the upper world, the one the clan fled for a reason. And the elders might not be pleased to meet a different human again.
The couple told him that he wasn't good to stay here as well. This place wasn't far from the clan's base.
"And we can't do anything for you once you are discovered."
Deep Hell wasn't a place to explore, and why it was called by that? Because it used to be a deep hell full of monsters and predators. When the clan landed here, they cleaned the place, built a kingdom, and,
"sealed the great vampire," said Mrs. Sabrina, her face slowly looking down. "who we encourage you to visit."
The vampire that once ruled this place, its people, and her people, the greatest vampire that even the sun couldn't kill, was somewhere in Deep Hell, and no one was allowed to visit her.
"There are rumors that some of the monsters were saved from death just to be around her seal, for it no to break."
Why? Sabrina told him the answer. Because the vampire was a great being that was rumored to do anything.
"If you go to our clan, things would get messy and you will end up to your doom. The gate to the upper world is locked in a place we were never promised to see, or know. Only the two elders know about it."
But, the vampire who was able to create miracles... might know another way.
It was best for everyone if he was to go. And he accepted that.
The youth's time here ended. And as they agreed he would go away when the couple get their children to sleep, in the theoretical night of this place, after the last laughs he would share along with the family.
The youth closed his eyes at the night, feeling satisfied that at least he had made the decision of protecting the children until their parents came. Everything had a weight into it, and the weight he had been holding for the past days would go away now. But he also remembered that he had yet to tell the couple about that shady existence e had sensed a few days ago.
A few steps closed and the door squeaked open. "It's time," said Mr.Callus.
They got out, the youth told him that a few days ago he a person tried to come here, but he fled back eventually.
"I heard such a rumor," said Mr. Callus, his arms crossed against his chest and staring on the unmoving water. "After all Sabrina is the daughter of the water elders and I'm just a commoner of the fire clan." and they always slipped out together.
They were around a thousand people, a few were nobles, two elders that were considered kings, and the rest were only commoners that leaned to the weaker side.
"I was strong compared to my league, but I was nothing compared to Sabrina. I was a commoner, and she was a noble, a great noble… and.."
And the married secretly.
It was an unwritten rule of racistic nature, you marry a person of the opposite clan, you are no longer respected. Yet, he married the daughter of the water elder. If that was known the clan would crumble and no one would rest.
And who would be the victims?
"Hey friend," Mr. Callus called, both of them standing on the edge of the shore, pondering the unmoving water. "I don't think it's necessary to ask that, but if something happens to me, take care of the kids. You look kind enough for that."
When Mr.Callus saw the youth he found a tired, hopeless, and helpless man playing with a boy. The Purple swollen eyelids the youth had, along with his pale skin and somehow slender body it was clear that a smile would never suite him. Yet, the youth was smiling. As if he was fighting against a buried truth in him. As if he, despite knowing that all and every piece of life was miserable, wanted to try, and fight.
The youth looked like that, and that smile even though didn't suit him now, one day, would surely suit.
"You can?"
The youth was asked again. The weight he had just removed returned and his heart pounded deep in him. He too wanted to be brave, at least against himself. He too wanted to be the role model for Roar, and he knew very well, that even though he wouldn't be able to keep that promise, he had to make it.
"I-" the youth stammered, he wasn't the best liar, he could lie a light-weighted lie, but a promise he couldn't fulfill, was hard.
"I-" his eyes flexed, he despised himself and wished for those words to come. He turned at Mr.Callus with trembling lips. Scared lips.
"Say nothing," however, Mr. Callus stopped him, his eyes curled down in sadness and agony. "You are fighting as well. Even though with no memories, even though with no knowledge of anything to fight, you are fighting against yourself." the man shifted his stare at the water, with his hands folded behind his back. "I don't want to burden you, sorry."
"I- it's okay."
The youth found it hard to talk normally to Mr. Callus, just like with Mrs. Sabrina. He found out that he wasn't as confident with words with older people as he was with children. The light and comfortable feeling he carried upon his wake up, was because the children were around, they weren't heavy, not like those words that Mr.Callus hammered him with.
They both stayed silent and then Mr.Callus allowed the youth to take his way. The youth waved at him, smiled, but this time a forced smile, and slowly faded behind the countless bushes of crystal trees far away.
The worn smile slowly faded off Mr.Callus face, and his waving arm dropped.
I'm sorry.
He thought. Because he didn't tell the youth about the written rule, no extra burden. The written reason why two summoners of different attributes couldn't breed. Because a mixed breed was strong enough to deal with the worst possible spirit. And chaos like that... was never necessary.

Transcendence?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Transcendence? is a novel about reincarnation, love, hate and war. And everything else that's included. It follows the main characters, as they climb to the top of their society. And lose their humanity in the process to become something beyond human. It's settled in the same universe as Until death?. It can be seen as a prequel. But I plan for it to be a stand alone book. Nobody has to read Until death? in order to enjoy Transcendence?. There will be cool chapters, sad chapters, romantic chapters and funny chapters. Of course there will be boring chapters too. I believe that some explanation is necessary in every novel. Though I hope that there will be more funny chapters. How a chapter turns out always depends on my mood.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
