《Destroy The Heavens!》Chapter 1-The Boy Finds A Home

A lonely mountain, shielded from the world by cloud and mist, stretches above the sky, reaching out endlessly over a desolate plain. Circling around the peak are birds of Icefire; they live bathed in a cooling flame, reaching temperatures of intense frigidity. A humble old man heads towards the foot of the enormous mass of rock and ice and cuts through the thick, frozen crystals obscuring the view of a hidden path, one leading, without any deviation, to the top of the mountain. With a child in his arms, the old man steadily climbs the steep path, snaking through the most dangerous areas, paying no heed to the treacherous environment or the powerful beasts lurking underground. When he eventually reaches the peak, the old man stretches his hand out to an extremely large cave to his right. Silently, sneakily, a colossal mansion, designed in the fashion of a castle, appears in the depths of the cave. Promptly, the top of the cave is washed over in an ultramarine shine and disappears as the brilliant light vanishes, silently.
The elderly fellow starts to make his way to his abode, walking straight, as the main gate opens to allow him passage. He heads into the door, and finds the mansion warm and inviting, decorated in soft brown carpeting and accented with comfortable yellow lights. A creamy white chandelier hangs over a small, circular wooden table.
The aging man walks over, slowly and deliberately, to an old, decrepit crib, and carefully sets the small boy sleeping in his arms onto the crib. He moves over to his kitchen, paved in snowy silver tile. Leisurely, the man prepares two meals, one of which he puts into an odd, large black box near his stove. After finishing his meal, he relaxes on a dull green armchair.

One day later, the boy wakes up as all infants do; while crying. The aging individual to his side stands up and takes the boy into his arms. The man looks warmly at the child and greets him calmly, despite the wailing,"Good Day, my young boy, it's nice to finally meet you. My name is Oromius, and yours is Astraoth." Seeing the boy continue to cry, ignoring his speech, Oromius puts Astraoth down and touches his ebony box, and as it lights up in a bright azure aura, with lines of raw energy running up and down its surface.
Oromius' hand sinks into the surface of the portmanteau, withdrawing a small cylindrical glass after a short few seconds of searching. Placing it before Astraoth, the boy automatically grabs it with his hands and starts to drink the reddish-orange liquid inside. After the infant finishes his meal, he falls asleep; the home once again slips into silence. Oromius sets the child down once again into the crib, but unlike before, he starts to make his way to his room, the master's bedroom.
Arriving in the room, Oromius lets his hand gently caress the side of a soft black bookshelf to the side of his bed. His bed, designed for elegance and comfort, has a frame made of interlocking black and white rings and a mattress of soft blue feathers and a down of a warm light brown. Oromius starts to search around the room, eventually finding a small switch, hidden in the drawer accompanying his bed, in the center of the room. Clicking the tiny button in the middlemost area of the switch, his bookshelf disappears quietly, leaving behind no trace of it ever existing.
Hidden behind the delicate counter of book storage is a small pile of books, each with vivid auras radiating from their bodies in waves. Oromius, stretching out his hand, levitated the books off the floor, into his hand. Walking out of his room, he starts to plan out a room for Astraoth.

He visits the west wing of his... significantly large abode, and inside is a garden, filled with plants of innumerable quantity. Passing the enormous garden, Oromius finds a room inside which is relics and powerful items, of which there is an uncountable number of. Collecting them with a wave of his hand, he quickly leaves toward another part of his mansion; the east wing.
In the east wing of the mansion lies an area, constructed with only glass; a dome, multiple kilometers long and multiple kilometers wide, shields a training area, with ranges for practicing magic and dummies for practicing weapon arts and martial skills.
Oromius arrives at this very area, and, placing his hand on the ground, retrieves weapons of assorted variety and rarity; he takes all types of weapons, such as scythes, swords of multiple varieties, sabres, also of multiple varieties; axes, whips, hammers, spears, gauntlets, knives, boomerangs, chakrams, staves, and many, many more.
Oromius stretches his hand out, but this time he sends out a spiral of blue light and energy, seemingly absorbing the numerous armaments into his hand. Strolling back, unhurriedly, he opens the door to the room directly to the left of his, and, finding it empty, starts to place inside important items.
First is his crib, which he moved ever so slowly, to avoid waking Astraoth. The second is a transparent bookshelf, filled with the books taken from the master's bedroom. Third are the weapons, placed on racks made of a uniquely gentle wood. Oromius, after the first round of decorating, starts to place decorations around the room, such as carpet, paintings, and historical relics.
For the final item, Oromius places a deep black banner with a blood red crown in the center, which hangs directly over Astraoth's crib. Leaving, he brings his dull green armchair into the room and falls asleep peacefully next to Astraoth.
