Missive to the Blue Guardians
Storm Season Second Quarter Third Day of Charm
We now understand that fellow Amberglass is no longer staying in your monastery. We request that you inform us where he was heading and of his intentions. While we understand that you are under no obligation to provide such information, we also understand that cooperation would ensure that relations between the council and your order continue to be harmonious.
Councilor Averius Drake
The Enchantress Gwynhafer lead me through her groves and through another forest doorway. Beyond it we reached a familiar place, but one that now carried the choking stench of smoke and ash. It was the glade where I had challenged the four witches. But it was not the enchanted place we had stood against each other. My staff hummed in my hand while I looked around the blackened scenery.
“You know what could have done this?” she asked, ashes floating on the breeze smudging her white cheeks.
“One of two entities,” I told her. “Neither of which is easily faced. Where are your sisters? We could certainly use their help in capturing what caused this.”
“This is not their battle, Greyslan,” she told me evenly. “You brought this upon my forest, you must be the one who deals with it.”
“The separation can be cast aside,” I replied, perhaps more testily than I had intended, spread out a hand at the devastation. “Surely something like this would call for at least a temporary alliance.”
“When wizards are battling wizards?!” She shook her head. “I think not. I am only here to ensure you put an end to what you started, however inadvertently.”
But either entity would call on power that I was now deeply reluctant to tap. A Celestial or an elemental of fire would require binding or dissolution of the third pattern. My knuckles were already beginning to ache in response.

“You always had a talent for making enemies of all kinds. But you must have made one of your kind very upset at you.” Gwyn gazed out into the smoke, then back at me. “Is there something about your current relationship with your Council you wish to tell me?”
“As far as I know that several of them would prefer I was ensconced in hermitage,” I told her. “And they might have reason. But to send such a power… that speaks of fear.”
“And who fears you?” she wondered tilting her head to regard me. “As you are now?”
“You know?” I turned a sharp glance at her.
“I spoke with my sister,” she replied. “She freely spoke to me of the events at Shatterstone Pass. And the other times.”
I turned away. Then I saw it, something moving in the smoke, something approaching. A light flickered between the columns of smoking trunks.
“Then you are aware,” I told her angrily. “That I may not be able to extinguish what is now approaching us.”
She smiled that knowing smile again.
“Then you will have to overcome what is troubling your magic,” she told me. “Or you will be consumed by what your enemy sent after you.”
Yes, the enchantress Gwynhafer has many sides to her. Vindictiveness, yes. Unpredictability, yes. A player of games most dangerous, assuredly. And even if I still loved her, all those sides made her an unreliable ally at the best of times.
“There is a river nearby. “ I remembered. “You had best follow me there, unless you want to face that creature of conflagration on your own.”
Would I leaver her to face alone, a creature of the most searing blazes. No, of course I wouldn’t, and I was sure this was part of her test. I grabbed her wrist with my free hand, and pulled her along with me. She came along, smiling all the way.

The Demon Lord who wished to be a Hero
This is the story of a person who in his life born and raised to be scary and dangerous. Being born from a Yakuza/Mafia family, his face and physique showed signs that you would expect from someone in that line of work. The funny part is, he doesn't like his family line of work and is actually a nice person, yet everyone is afraid of him except a few. However their was a strange occurrence of a "Game Pod" being sent out for game newly released for random people. The only thing people know is that is a post to be an VR RPGMMO. Which our Main character gets as well as his "Friends". He plans to become a Hero in the game however, he becomes the Opposite of what he wishes to be, and the game isnt actually a game (Hello! NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.

The Undying Magician
How would a true immortal with average talent in magic fare within a world where magic is everything? In the world of Aria, only a small fraction of the population are classified as magicians. These magicians are able to use magic through the manipulation of the mana they are born with and are the core of the military strength within every nation. However, one nation in particular uses magicians to an even higher extreme than the others. This nation is known as The Republic of Arcania. The largest power in Aria. Our story follows Nathan Fox as he graduates from high school and is sent to the Arcane Academy for his required military training as a magician before he eventually serves his ten year term in the military.Nathan has been a true immortal ever since he got a semi-magical disease that makes any damage done to his body instantly reverse itself, bringing him back to his top form on the day that he became an immortal. Ever since then, it has been impossible for Nathan to die.But there are worse things in the world than death. And if the power-hungry magicians of the world were to learn of Nathan's true immortality? Then he might just experience those things himself. What will happen to Nathan as he traverses life in the academy? Will his secret be found out?Or will he be able to safely make it through the four years of academy life with his secret intact? That has yet to be foretold. The beginning of the story starts out slow for what many Royal Road readers are used to and then speeds up after around chapter 20 or so. It is a school arc, so it is supposed to be slow. Most of the combat and action isn't seen until after these chapters, which you can view as an introduction to the world, the characters, and magic itself. Many of the reviews are outdated due to edits I've been making along the way through the story. Specifically some of the edits going over the world itself, including pointing out in the story some of the things a few of the reviewers missed when they wrote their reviews, along with fixing other things that were pointed out in the story from the reviews and comments. This book is also being edited as it's being written, so some small parts might change as I get suggestions from readers. I do not write harem or sexual content in my stories. Ever.
