《Deity of carnage - Unholy Kingdom》Unholy Kingdom - Prolog

Narrator POV:
Once upon a time, in a forest grand and green. There lived colonies of trolls, "Troll home" it be. They spread as far as the eye could see. They were round, they were big and they smelled so bad indeed.
They lived in peace, they lived in freedom. Their favorite snack, humans on their menu.
All be gluttons, a scary sight to see. All be dangerous and ferocious. Heck, even I would flee!
All be chaotic evil, all be but one!
His name was Moby and he couldn't even eat a pony. He loved animals and beasts! But not as a feast. He would rather pet them, talk and take them for walks.
This is the story of Moby, a friendly troll indeed!
An old trolls POV:
The first time I saw Moby, I knew something was off. He smelled like flowers, the foulest stench for trolls.
His mother so proud of the little wreck, her motherly instincts keeping her in check. Blinded from the truth, that he be a danger to us all. An aberration of a Troll, that was what he was.
Mother troll POV:
He wailed and he yelled. But in my arm, he be still. Looking at me with glee. I named him Moby and hoped he would be a popular kid.
As soon as he walked, I was so proud! But he was a picky eater and were doing the weirdest things of all.
Other trolls mocked him, which made me sad indeed. My seed is not bad, he will grow out of it. won't he please?
I will be proud of my Moby, no matter the Troll he grows to be!

Random Troll POV:
I saw that Moby, the black sheep of us trolls, sitting and talking... with food!

He did not eat it, he did not kill it. Instead, he pets it, as if they where friends. Disgusted I turned right away and went to his father, in the Troll Kings lair!
Troll king POV:
Moby my Moby, a pest on my chest. Ever since inclined, he just troubles my mind.
He is his mother's image, but not mine! No cruelty, no anger, nor rage he has in mind. He makes me look weak! I can not have that! It's time for me to teach him, the trolls way of life!
A peasant/victims POV(no rhyme):
I had wandered and gotten lost. When in front of me two trolls appeared. As I tried to run away to save my life, the bigger one of them swung his club. Breaking both my legs on impact. The pain was unbearable, but I cling to my consciousness and fought the pain to be able to crawl away.
The troll's seemed to argue about something, as I see the smaller one push the bigger one.
Unaware of the landscape we were at. The big troll stumbles back down a rift. Never to be seen again, yelling and screaming only one word on his way down.
"MOBY!" [Troll King]
Seems like I will be the smaller one's meal. I closed my eyes ready to meet my maker and lost consciousness just seconds after.
I woke up a time later. I was surprised! I was not dead. Instead where I outside the border of the Troll forest. Had it been a dream? Looking down I could clearly see it had not been.
I had lost both my legs. They where gone! They were not there! Instead, there were dirty rags bound around my stumps. With flowers as decoration.
From now on I would be a cripple for life!

Tears ran down my cheek, I might be a cripple. But I was alive, could it have been that troll? Moby? Had that been his name? Thank you Moby, thank you!
Months later,
City drunk POV:
They scream and laugh in my ear. They throw food and pour my beverage over me. I ask the bartender to refill my cup and provide me with a towel. But I get rejected even by the bartender.
"Can't you see that we want no cripples in here!? Are your head as lost as your legs?" [Bartender]
Two men grab me by each side and I get thrown out of the bar. Landing right into a puddle of mud, but I don't care! I was already dirty, to begin with. I sat up, heaving myself to sit up straight. Then I took my two sticks, not longer than my torsos length. Ready to jump my way to the next bar.
That's when I get a tap on my shoulder. Looking back I see a six-year-old kid with a towel in hand. It was the bartender's daughter, an angel to behold. With eyes blue as the ocean and orange hair, all ruffled up.
"Mother tells me: Be good and good follows!" [Bartenders daughter]
"Thank you, child!" [Cripple]
I take the towel and see her leave, but I request her to wait. She turns around and looks at me with her deep blue eyes. That's was the first time I told anyone the story of Moby, the friendly troll.
Narrators POV:
But where was Moby one might ask? No not in "Troll home", he would be not.
After the loss of his father, whom could not accept his child. He had decided that "Troll home" was not his place or land.
Like his friends the birds, he left his nest making mother so sad. But he knew, this was his path.
Far away, he built himself a hut. Out in the desolated green. Close to the wilds, where no troll would reach. Until a fateful day, where he would meet two travelers from the deep.
Oh, how life goes!
A mothers love.
A species scorn.
A crippled man saved from death's door!
A child so pure and true.
All these small things creating ripples in the fates ocean, until finally, a storm has come!
The stories of Moby spread, humans took note. Until the king and nobles got intreaged with greed. They brought the cripple for "questions" night and days long.
Refusing to budge, no matter the cost.
But no man, no matter how brave and bold. Could last the torture and he crumbled and fell, his final price: Death he longed!
By the story of the cripple, they put two and two. Armies were raised, men at arms. To Troll turf they go! With morale high and faith at their side.
No troll king to command them, chaos was to behold. "Troll home" no longer peaceful. Troll versus Troll.
A few Troll was taken, the rest was not spared. Left was only the foul smell of "Troll home", the last birthplace of the green Trolls.
