《From A Delinquent To A God in 10 Minutes》Chapter 29: High School Coup D'etat; Divine Clash

"Hey, Kaharu"
His heart was surprisingly calm at the moment, Amatsuyu had successfully managed to convince himself of his status. It wasn't like he had any room to think about anything else either in that moment, his tunnel-vision only pointed forward to the slowly turning back of Kaharu.
*SQUEEEAK*
Kaharu pulled a pose where his body faced the window, but his head twisted itself in the red-haired kid's direction. Kaharu reacted with a weakly pronounced
"Amatsuyu…?"
His face had a surprised quality to it as it inspected the worn-out details on Amatsuyu. He'd clearly not slept well in several days, his eyes had rings around them as lines ran across his face like strings attached to it. The red-haired kid lifted up his arms in the air in an inviting manner as he started talking
"Kaharu! What's going on!? I've been gone from school for a couple of days and this is how I return?"
Kaharu isn't given a chance to respond as Amatsuyu quickly gains the sight of another delinquent at Akumu High School. He walks a couple of steps forward before he points at the distant person, looking away from them. With a smug smile hidden away from Kaharu, he says
"I know we don't get along, but I think Kosuto's behind the controlling of these students. We must go against him, like quickly! Can you accept his tyranny!? I saw him before talking to a student, and he seemed to be giving orders"
Kaharu looked back to Amatsuyu, who had the veil of a perfectly normal rose. His face completely matched the words he'd uttered, like they were spoken from a sincere heart. Kaharu sighed at his discovery as he started walking, saying
"I don't like you Amatsuyu, but let's confront him then. I wouldn't want a person, especially like him, to rule over the students."
Kaharu led the way as he slowly but surely started walking down the hallway towards the alleged perpetrator. Amatsuyu smiled as he figured a win had been entered into his bag, foolery that would let him execute the plan he desired. The cold air stuck to everything around him as he walked, a lone rose trying to make its way through the increasingly cold environment around it. That cold was eventually felt on Amatsuyu's skin as it spread around, but it didn't make a difference to him.
A petal fell to the ground.
Kaharu stopped as he neared the still unknowing Kosuto and looked towards Amatsuyu's still arm. Dragging his phone out of his pocket and lifting it up into the air, Amatsuyu's body succumbed to the cold for a second as a sneeze was pushed out of him.
Kaharu commented
"Maybe you have some allergy or something, you've been sneezing a lot lately"
"What do you mean? I've only done it onc----"
"What's the time?"
Amatsuyu furrowed his brows as he lifted up his watch and commented
"10:38… How come?"
Kaharu smiled, his phone lifted high in the air as it was grasped lightly by his hand, as he looked into the eyes of Amatsuyu, uttering the short words

"I guess it's time"
*CLICK*
Suddenly, the intercom system of the school made a quick wave blast as Amatsuyu snapped out of his temporary confusion. That cold air would soon carry airwaves that had been given a bad feeling by Amatsuyu's gut. Something very ominous was felt in Amatsuyu for the short moment between that comment and the recognizable voice exuding from those speakers he'd used before. The voice of his adversary blasted through the corridors
"Uhh, is this on?
Well, G'morning. I thought I'd record this message to tell the idiot who caused this school 'thing' that I know who you are.
Amatsuyu Kougaku, my old… can't even call you friend, now can I?
But either way, I find it really brave of you to try and do all of this shit. But that bravery…
I shall crush it.
You've really outdone yourself this time, first bullying a random student, even if I don't necessarily like that person, and now proclaiming yourself a God.
Don't get ahead of yourself, bastard!"
*Kutchaa*
Amatsuyu's world had been flipped around in the span of a couple of seconds. The chilling cold sweat he broke into made his whole view spin for a couple of seconds, he hadn't expected that development at all. Willful ignorance on his part as his ignored puzzle piece had tried to warn about that type of carelessness. It wasn't blissful as he'd usually been told, in the span of a couple of seconds he went through a multitude of emotions. Fear, pain, and even envy went through him. It wouldn't matter in the end, but the sense that his rival had gone one step above him made his heart roar in flames like a Viking ship navigating the rough seas with the dedication to reach one destination, even if they were unwillingly taken to other places first.
Amatsuyu also wanted to reach his final destination, even if the waves to that place would be turbulent.
Another petal fell to the ground gracefully as it fluttered in the air.
Kaharu exerted another feeling, one of triumph. He commented
"You shouldn't have had recorded that message. I recorded it with my phone, and since you used a saved setting in the broadcasting room, I was able to get your 'true' voice out of it. You took one wrong in this unintentional minefield, and it exploded. Although you were on my list
Now, all I need is that coup de grace."
With Kosuto slowly approaching them, wearing a slight smile on his face. They were both smug, exerting that exact energy right at the roughed-up Amatsuyu. He was staring at the ground in silence as his heart grew even hotter, both a pain of being exposed and a flaming anger resided in there. The waves got even rougher around him.
"So I never stood a chance to begin with…?"
A confusing silence opened up as Kaharu and Kosuto stared at the amounting energy around Amatsuyu, something was strange. Kaharu commented quickly

"I guess..."
Amatsuyu lifted his head as he started walking up to Kaharu, a few meters still standing between them. He said
"Kaharu, you wouldn't ever understand me. You pretend like you do, but this is all a farce. I was prepared for this.
I AM A GOD!
I got this power for a reason! Because it is my rightful place to take in this world, this is my domain and it is all mine to have for myself. I don't want your idiotic heretic self to come here and usurp my throne. I am a shining rose, I bring prosperity to this place and to myself. You have no right to counterclaim my own area.
You will never best me!"
Amatsuyu immediately moved several meters behind him as he kicked Kaharu in his torso, causing him to fall back a couple of meters. Rolling his way to a crossroad with another hallway, Kaharu quickly bounced up as he started moving towards him.
"I guess I have to deliver it with this hand"
He lifted his right hand and filled it with electricity as he leaped forward towards Amatsuyu. A fist flying straight towards him, Amatsuyu didn't have the time to worry about it and instead just leaped forward into the other hallway as it landed on the ground
*CRACK*
It split open the floor on impact and cracks were quickly shown in the spot where Kaharu had missed his attack. Amatsuyu smugly smiled as he exclaimed
"EVERY SUBJECT IN THIS SCHOOL, KILL KAHARU KAHARI!"
It was said as soon as Kaharu was still in the air, moving towards Amatsuyu's new position. Three students quickly came and jumped at Kaharu, in the air, but they were quickly blasted away by that ghost again as it was spawned.
Kaharu looked back at Kosuto with a half-irritated face as he said
"Don't hurt the students, you ass! Do as I told you, I have my own countermeasure."
Amatsuyu disliked what he heard as he saw Kosuto start to run the other way. Kaharu landed two meters from Amatsuyu as he tried to grab the phone he'd recently put in his pocket. Amatsuyu had no idea what he would do with it, but understood that the phone would be the key to it. He leaped towards Kaharu unexpectedly as he tried to lift it up properly, and managed to knock it out of his hand as he threw a punch.
*Sliiiiide*
"What---"
Before Kaharu had the chance to recover from his confusion, he was dealt another blow from Amatsuyu right to his nose. Those three students that had gotten knocked down were now rushing for Kaharu's location. They grabbed his legs as Amatsuyu quickly went to get the phone.
Kaharu bit his lip and loaded more electricity into his hand as he said
"Bastard--"
Without having tried it before, he tried to shoot some electricity from his hand, and it succeeded in firing. Although its power was a lot weaker than if he were to have used it directly against Amatsuyu's body.
- Kuh… I shouldn't have rushed it-- -
Kaharu quickly ran towards the phone as he threw a punch at Amatsuyu, who saw it clearly approach him. He ducked it, so the momentum Kaharu had built up led to him losing his balance for a moment and falling forward.
"Using such cheap tactics against a God, Kaharu? Truly pitiful"
Thunder struck Kaharu's heart as he heard that, the phone they were both reaching for eventually ending up in Amatsuyu's hand. He lifted it up quickly as he intended to throw it against the floor, Kaharu struggling against the grasp of the students. He released it.
As it accelerated towards the floor, Kaharu quickly lifted himself of the grasp he'd been in and filled up electricity in his feet.
"Flashing Leap!"
*Zoowaaaaaaaaa*
He managed to grab the phone before it fell to its destruction, but overshot his leap and ended up flying into the wall in front of him with his head taking the first hit. Amatsuyu laughed as he said
"Look at how useless you are, what could you possibly do with that phone?
End your resistance!"
Amatsuyu charged a kick as he threw it against Kaharu's hand, but he managed to escape a couple of meters with another use of his ability
"Flashing Leap"
Kneeling down, breathing hard already as he looked down to the ground, he turned on the phone and went into an app.
He frowned deeply as he said
"If you truly were a god, wouldn't you already know?
Or perhaps you are the heretic…? Wishing you were more than you are."
A large petal fell to the ground as that rose looked more bare.
Kaharu opened up his app and started playing the voice recording he wanted, and immediately Amatsuyu was subject to hearing his own voice in a surprising way
"I – order you to – find – and – hit – A – Ma – t – s – u – y(o)u"
A chopped-up piece of dialogue traveled through the chilly school grounds as the self-proclaimed god gave a peculiar command. Before Amatsuyu had the time to comment on the message, the students that had aided him previously quickly started to run towards him. Kaharu stood up to start his attack again, he said
"Truly a foolish mistake for you to have made. But it is also a fortunate one.
Evil like you could be cleaned off of these school grounds thanks to your idiotic impatience. Manipulating the students here like you own them, you've probably done several lecherous stuff as well.
As the student body protector, I can't let this continue.
You're gone, Amatsuyu!"
Another petal in the center hit the ground with more weight than before.
*DON*

This is a story set in a world with a rich history of the magic power known as the Wave, and all native species are capable of interacting with the Wave to obtain power in a variety of ways. Think of this as a combination of Dr Stone and Black Clover! I am writing this story using similar structures to anime seasons, and the chapters in itself are structured more like manga chapters. The first two seasons are already planned out, and it is likely going to be daily upload (12 noon EST) of chapters from ~ 2 k words in length during the 'season' when there is backlog of chapters, with a week or two of a break in between seasons if no backlog. If you liked this story, please drop a rating and review. If you hated it, please drop a review and help me get better. Don't just spam a 0.5 rating and leave like a coward lol.
