When i could finally see, I saw what i think was the waiting area, there was long tables and seats placed along with them and on top of that was mountains of different foods all looking delicious.On the other side of the room was a giant gate made out of metal. Next to it was a plaque it read as."Waiting area 1".

I walk to the nearest seat and sit down. I look around and see a lot of different people mostly people from second to third year.A few of the older ones seem to be wearing different kinds of light battle armor. Most seem to know each other by the way they all seem to be getting along and talking.I can feel the gaze of a few people on my back.

I wait around eating a little while nothing really happens a few more people get teleport-ed in but no one really pays it any attention.Once the place is filled with all sorts of people some even caring huge weapons.Since some people had the obvious advantage i decided to draw some high level defensive enchantments on my cloths.

I didn't have to wait long for something to happen the giant gate opened up and a man in his late forty's and a formal robes walked in. In his hands he carried a clipboard with sheets of paper on it.

"Listen up all competitors you will wait here in between fights until it reaches night time in which you will be teleport-ed back to the outside world then once the fights start up again tomorrow you will be returned to this waiting area."

"Now then you can watch all the fight on the mana screen over there"

He pointed to a black wall that a black crystal embedded in it.

"When it is your time to fight i will come in here and call your name you are to follow me outside to the arena. Now then first fighter from here will be Marcus leopern"

A young male stood up as soon as the man called his name. By what i could get from his looks he was a second year. He carried a blue long spike and a shield that was also made form some kind of blue metal. He walked past the gate with a smile. The official looking man followed after him then the gate closed.

I looked over at the wall that the man said we could watch the fights on. We all waited a little then the crystal buzzed to life and projected a scene of the arena on one side was Marcus and on the other was a guy wearing a hood that covered his face. He didn't wear any extra armor besides the school uniform and the hood, but he did wear bandages around his fists.

"Hello all and welcome to the [Grand Combat Tournament] today we will all be watching the opening fights of the schools best and brightest but this is of course all a lead up to the real fights that will be held in the capital [Rexenorg] and to get to that most glorious stage each person who chooses to fight in this arena must win twenty consecutive fights. So lets give them all a massive round of applause."

The crowd goes wild with cheers for both of the fighters. Marcus is loving waving and even blowing kisses to girls in the crowd. The other fighter just stand with his hands by his sides waiting for the starting symbol.

"Okay now let me introduce your awesome fighter today. Firstly Marcus leopern a courageous knight who believes that honor and justice should be held higher then petty thins like money and power. And last but not least Drax Drigard a powerful fighter known through out the third years for concealing great power in his fists. Now then ladies and gentlemen let the fight begin."

I wouldn't really call it a fight more like a one second victory. From what i was able to catch Drax moved at incredible speeds and delivered a single punch to Marcus's abdomen shattering all of his defensive enchantments and little armor sending him flying across the stadium and into the closest wall.

The Entire crowd was now silent even the announcer was silent.

"Well that was unexpected but i suppose the victory goes to Drax"

Still the crowd was silent couldn't blame them even i was still trying to process what just happened. Drax didn't seem to mind what anyone thought he through the gate in which he came through.Which i could only guess would be waiting area 2.

It took a few minutes but the fights and crowd where back to there usual high as soon as the rest of the battles started. Non of the battles where anything interesting i just ate some more food while watching the fights with mild interest.

Again the official looking man walked through the gate.

"Kaito, No last name"

I stood up from my seat and walked over to the man. He looked down at his clip board then nodded and led me into the tunnel leading outside.

Up ahead was the end of the tunnel and the start of my fights.When i stepped out and into the arena i was greeted with a lot of shouting and cheering. I looked across the field and saw my competition. A blond third year student who was more interested in fixing his hair and eyeing the crowd then giving me any attention.

"Well hello again ladies and gentlemen we have another fight on our hands today between a first year and a third year."

The entire stadium burst into laughter even my so called opponent found the fact i was a first year some what funny.

"Now then let's get on with the introduction. First we have Kaito who is not from any family he supposedly comes from a mountain village, he is also class 1E's class representative so he might just have some skill to survive ah let's say ten seconds.

Again the stadium burst into laughter. Was me being a first year so funny to these people.

"And now on the other end of the arena we have-"

"Let me cut you off there mister announcer i will do my own introduction. I am as most of you know Cooper von alberk son of a great high duke. As well as that i am a spectacular water mage"

When ever he spoke at least three words he would flick his hair even know it wasn't that long. He also kept winking at girls in the stands. What is with these guys if your going to hit on girls do it at a bar not a arena where your fighting.

I could hear the entire crowd laughing and making comments about me.

"That loser thinks he can win against his betters"

"How badly you think he will get injured"

"Shame he's mentally disabled because he's quite good looking"

"YOU CAN DO IT KAITO"

I knew the sound of that voice. It was Luke cheering me on from the stands i didn't look i just smiled and shook my head at my awkward friend.

"Is that your friend he looks like a pore looser, just what i would expect to see in a commoner"

"Maybe after he see's what i ARGGGRGH"

My hand was around the blond douche bag throat. I was holing him off the ground above me with just my right hand.The entire stadium was quiet after i flashed then reappeared with my opponent's throat in my hand. It happened so fast that no one even saw it coming especially not my opponent.

"Sorry i didn't quite hear you repeat yourself if you would be so kind"

He didn't say anything he just stared into my eyes. All i saw when i stared back was fear, fear of death,fear of pain, and a fear of what i would do next. The where all logical things to be scared of since right now i was capable of anything but first i will make an example.

I firstly lower the arrogant piece of shit back onto the floor. He just stood there his face soon turned into a grin a very scared apologetic grin. I showed my own grin. I saw a light in his eye like his was going to make it out of here with no injuries. He wasn't.

I slammed my first into his chest. He wen't flying into one of the arena walls. He was twitching and had many things on him broken, but i wasn't done. I walked up and pulled him from the crevice he made in the wall and placed him in the middle of the arena again. This time i kicked him in the side he was sent flying again into the wall. Half his body sank into the wall. This was still not the end again i pried him from the wall and placed him in the middle of the arena again on his feet. I placed my hand onto his chest and switched the [Sword mark] to [Dragon mark] then i hit him straight in the chest with a fireball, it didn't send him flying it just burnt off most of his cloths and left a huge burn mark on his chest.

He collapsed to his knees. I just turned around and walked to my gate it opened all by itself. Not a single person made a sound as a walked back into the waiting area.
