My second day at school started off with a nice breakfest made by Luke. After last night when i taught him the Magic trick he picked it up rather easy.

Right now we were walking towards Homeroom class i checked my schedule for the day i had Sword combat training in the morning after homeroom then after that Enchantments then lunch and finally Magic combat class so it was going to be an interesting day but tonight time was going to be better now that i finally had my fire magic back i was in my prime and i really wanted to burn something.

We entered Homeroom it was already full of people for some reason some stood up when i entered the room others just looked kind of scared was i really that terrifying now i go and take my seat at the back of the room and try to focus on moving my blood mana through my entire body i was able to get both my arms last night but it took me all night with barely any sleep so hopefully i can make it move a little faster now.

I'm concentrating on that when four people from class 1B walk in each on has a sword attached to their hip and a crest on there shoulders of Two Twin long swords crossing each other, i recognize the crest it's of the Arcane sword family they are a small military family who are highly recognized for being able to wield and type of sword with easy many members of the family being are apart of the royal guard. I wonder what they want. They walk straight towards me there leader stands in front of my desk he has Short brown hair and green eyes, girls would find him attractive.

"Hello it is my pleasure to meet you Kaito my name is Eric and i have just arrived at [Celestia] but i have already heard of your skill on the battlefield being able to fight Sylvia a member of one of the great four clans is quite impressive i wonder if you would give me the same honor of a duel"

Sylvia is a member of one of the great four clans i wonder which one and why is this wanting to duel me all of a sudden if have never even seen him before but if he want to fight sure but at the right place.

"Sure i will happily duel you but not here i have Sword combat training next i'm guessing you have that next as well"

"Yes i do"

"Then how about we have our duel there"

"That sounds fine to me i look forward to it see you then Kaito"

He turns around and walks out with his followers in toe. What is it whenever i meet new powerful people they have to have a group of people following them around.

"Hey Kaito what was that about"

"Nothing much i just have a duel coming up in my next class sounds like it's going to be fun"

"Well don't forget that we have a plans for tonight to deal with the Goldmage family"

"I know that's why even if it looks like i will loose i will not go all out"

"Ok good looks like the teacher will be here soon we should pay attention"

"Good morning class i hope you all have a fantastic day now for the role"

Sword combat training

Kaito's Pov

I walk into the classroom. Without Netherwing i decided to let him do his own thing for this class since he would be bored and have nothing to do.The class i have to say is quite big there are Benches on the left and right side in the middle is a massive square platform made from white stone i guess that's the dueling area. I look around and there are many faces sitting around talking then i see a face i didn't expect.

The class president is sitting by her self sharpening a long silver sword with an engraving of a snake into the handle of the sword she is sharpening the sword with such skill i wonder where she got that sword from it is quite beautiful.

"So you're in sword class as well class prez"

"Kaito, yes i am"

"Mind if i sit next to you"

"N-no go right ahead"

"Thanks. That's a really nice sword there where did you get it"

"F-from m-my father he is a blacksmith back in my home town"

"Well he did a really nice job on it is stunning"

"T-thank you"

The teacher walks in it's the same burly man from the arena match he is accompanied by Eric and his followers they seem to be talking about something the conversation seems to be making the teacher angry Eric sees me waves at the teacher then runs over to me.

"Hey Kaito good to see you again looking forward to our little duel"

"I think it will be fun but i do have a question are we allowed to use magic"

"Hmmm no i only use a sword when i fight so i think we should have an equal battlefield so you should use a sword as well"

"Unfortunately i don't have one here"

"There are a lot of good swords in the room at the back of the class for you to use just go and grab one and meet me on the platform, okay see you there"

He runs over to the platform and jumps on and takes position on one side.

"A-are you really going to fight Eric he's suppose to be the best swordsmen in the first years"

"I used to always run from everything but i swore to myself when i got real power that i would face every challenge that came my way no matter who or what it came from so yeah i'm going to fight him"

I get up and walk to the back of the room and find two black sliding doors i open them up and walk in all i see is a dark lit room with hundreds of swords all over the walls and shelves all different types. Some fancy some simple some long some short others hulking and some small but none were for me i tried a few out but never any luck that's when i reached the back of the room where i found a stack of old damaged rusty dust covered swords but for some reason i felt strange like i was meant to be here like there was some kind of jewel beneath all the dirt i just stared at the pile but before i knew it me hand with the [Sword mark] moved on it's own reaching deeper and deeper into the pile until it grabs onto something i feel my hand start to pull it out once it's out i finally see what it grabbed.

It's a sword a katana to be more precise a completly black katana the hilt is completly black with a criss cross pattern on it also has some kind of writting carved into the end of it but the interesting apart is the metal the sword is made out of it is black but has a weird metalic crome.It would look incredible in its original form but now it chipped and cracked all over even having rust in some places. Why did the [Sword mark] choose this blade.

'Drake can you read the writing on the end of the sword'

'No surprisingly i can't it is some kind of ancient form of text even i don't know'

'What how is that even possible'

'No idea but if i had to guess i would say the soul living in the [Sword mark] has some kind of connection to the writing'

Okay if you chose this sword then it must be good and i will not turn it down.I walk out of the back room and take my place on the stage i look around and all the benches are full with people some even from other classes. The big burly teacher walks onto the stage and stands in between us.

"OK all you children today we will be having a duel before class this duel will be between Eric Arcanic and Kaito this will be a single point strike win contest meaning whoever lands the first clean blow is the winner and the fighters will both be using sword this means no magic is allowed but sword skills are fair game so let the fight begin"
