"We are roommates now that's the paperwork i was just doing it was for you to be set up in my dorm seeing as how i didn't have a roommate i thought it would be ok for us to be roommates, so what you think"

We begin walking down the hallway when i remember what i promised Sylvia.

"Sorry Luke but remember what i promised Sylvia"

"Oh yeah that whole Lightning trick ok go there but remember you gotta teach me when you get back from there ok"

I start walking down the hallway towards classroom 1A to see if Sylvia is there. I open the door and look inside she isn't there what to do now.

"Hey you're Kaito right"

I turn around and there is a green haired girl with very boyish looks could she be a friend of Sylvia's.

"Yeah i'm Kaito"

"So we finally we meet I'm Susan, Sylvia's best friend pleasure to meet you"

"Same here"

"So what are you doing here"

"I came to see Sylvia i was suppose to help her with something"

"Oh really well you just missed her she went down to the library"

"Ok thanks for the info"

I walk off i see the friend looking at me with a big grin i wonder why she has that whatever i'm just hungry. The library is just across from the main building so it shouldn't take me long to get there. I exit the main building and start walking across the plaza when i smell something nice i look over and there's a food vender selling some kind of meat on a stick i bought two one for me and one for Netherwing, He really liked it i thought it was tasty.

We finally reach the library and i have to give this school credit they know how to make a library it is at least two stories high with endless amount of books everywhere but this did make a problem for me how am i supposed to find her.

"Hey Netherwing you know the silver haired girl can you find her for me"

"Squak"

He flaps his wings and takes off into the library i just find a nice seat and wait for him to come back. It doesn't take him long to come back he lands on my shoulder and points his beak to northwest i guess he found her. We arrive at the history section i look into a row of books and see Sylvia sitting on the floor with books all around her on the floor while she intensely reads some book.

"Sorry am i interrupting your studding"

"Kaito no not at all i was just reading up about the saints for my history test nothing i can't do later, So am i right to assume you're here to teach me about that trick you do"

"Yes but before we start i am only teaching you as a thank you so i would appreciate it if you're taught no one else this"

"That's fine with me"

"Then let's get started first fill your entire body with your mana then let it all out"

She sits there for a few seconds not doing anything until i feel the pressure in the air change i know she has completed step one.

"Grab control of your mana so you can control it with your thoughts"

"Already done that's what all mages do when they send mana out of there bodies"

Shit really well that does make sense i am still kind of a novice when it comes to magic so i need to adjust the steps to fit her.

'Drake because her magic is lighting what should i do'

'Well you can't teach her how to learn Electrokinesis. Because you have no training in that but you can teach her how to fuse her mana with other so she can stop it so just bring out some magic then let her fuse her magic to it and she should be able to do what you did with the lightning'

'Ok thanks'

I look up at Netherwing make the shape of a sphere with my hands he understands and soon a sphere of dark magic appears.

"That's impressive i didn't know your magic beast was so powerful"

"Yeah he can do a lot of things even i don't know about,but we should get back to your training first gather the mana you let out then fuse it with the dark sphere"

"Wait is that even possible i mean i have heard of fusing spells but not mana"

"Well it is so have a go"

She begins to fuse the mana with the dark spheres mana it works smoothly at first but soon sparks start to literally fly and soon she stops.

"It's impossible there's no way it can be done"

"There is but first absolutely clear you mind of any thought except for one word to your mana Fuse just that nothing else and you can do it so now try again"

She closes her eyes and tries again but this time i can feel the peace coming from her like a large lake with only a single pebble inside it it takes her a little while but soon her mana has fused with the spheres

The ball shoots towards Sylvia she shocked and covers her face but just before contact it stops just like with what i did with her lightning she takes away her hands and pokes the sphere and sees it trying to move, then the sphere disappears and she gives a big smile.

"It worked it worked thank you so much Kaito"

"Don't worry about it and just remember not to tell anyone and a little advice try not to use that skill so much it will take a lot out of you, two is about my limit"

"Thanks for the advice"

I get up to leave when i feel Sylvia grab a hold of my arm i turn around to see what she wants.

"Kaito you said you where entering the [Grand Combat Tournament] mind if i ask you why"

"I will tell you if you tell me why you are entering"

"Fine but you first"

"I'm entering because i want to prove and test my strength nothing else and you"

"I'm entering because i want to defeat someone there"

"Well then i guess we will meet there again"

"Exactly so why did you teach me such a powerful skill"

"I taught you to thank you for helping me deal with Elizabeth"

"But you could have easily said no or anything else and i wouldn't have pushed the matter"

"True but then when we meet back at the [Grand Combat Tournament] you and i will be on different levels and what fun would that kind of fight be so that's why i taught you so we can have a even fight"

I i saw her smile again but this one was filled with pure happiness, i wonder why she smiled like that i didn't say anything that special but her hand loosened just enough for me to slip away.

I Exit the library. Time for me to see my new living space. I begin walking towards the commoners dorm but i hear some interesting things on my way.

"Hey did you hear what happened in the forest near the school grounds"

"No what happened?"

"A bunch of assassins with the Goldmage family crest on their armour where found found brutally murdered but that's not all there was also a message written in there blood"

"What did it say"

"It said 'COME AFTER ME AND DIE PAINFULLY'"

"Holy shit the Goldmage family better look out"

"Yeah my thoughts exactly"

By now that information has probably reached Elizabeth and her sister i wonder if i should pay them a visit maybe tomorrow when all my marks will be fully active. I reach the dorm i open the wooden doors and they almost fall off their hinges, wow this place is just held together with glue. the entire place is made out of wood it has that very old feeling to it i walk up the stairs, i walk past dorm rooms on my way each has a plaque above the door with a number on it, it doesn't take me long to find my room i push my key in and open up the door.

I walk in and it is actually nice there are two beds at the back with shelves on the walls near them, there are also a table in the middle of the room and wardrobe on each side of the room. On Top of the left bed is cerberus sleeping Netherwing flies over and falls asleep near him is it wrong i think that is really cute.

I walk into the next room at and find a small kitchen with Luke behind the stove making some kind of soup.

"Hey Luke nice place"

"Thanks if you want to go have a bath or something the bathroom is the room on the opposite side of the room"

"Ok will do"

I leave him to his cooking good thing he can cook because i tried once and somehow the curry came out like black tar. I walk into the small bathroom it just has a sink, toilet and a bathtub all i need, I take off my cloths and put them in a safe place then fill the tub up with hot water and take my bath.

My body is relaxed and feels nice in the water perfect time for some light training i summon a ball of blood and begin moving it around myself while i soak and wash myself. I disperse it once i'm finish then i dry myself off and put on my under clothes. I walk out and see luke reading a book on his bed with Cerberus and Netherwing near him. I go and place my school clothes and other things in my wardrobe then go lie down on my bed.

"So i heard an interesting rumour today"

"Really what kind of rumour"

"A bunch of assassins were found dead in the woods the rumour say they were from the Goldmage family"

"Oh yeah i heard that rumor too i wonder what happened"

"Didn't you have a little problem with one of the Goldmage family members recently"

"Hey you still want to learn the lighting trick"

"Yeah sure, but we're not done talking about this"
