《Dark Chronicles》Ch 1 Arriving

The promise on the comments section will finally be fulfilled! However, it was not by the author but from his trusty (?) proofreader. (Note: A guy that voices rapists on homemade H-games is very trusty indeed. I didn’t make those, though...)
I have to run! I can't be late! If I am... They won’t be happy…
I can't forget to buy their order or they will hurt me. I have to get there before lunch is over. I start running down an abandoned alleyway. I suddenly freeze in place I physically can't move my body what the hell is going on but before I can even start to fight the freeze a white sphere envelops me completely and my world goes white.
I am left frozen in a completely white space then words appear in front of me in blazing red writing on the floor. `Welcome Kaito, you have been summoned to a world different to yours but do not worry you have been given a gift because you are different to this world.` What I have been summoned to another world and what gift.
A pain went through every last inch of my entire body. It was so bad, I start to break down into a cold sweat
The pain finally started to ease on my body and center around my right hand then it burst into black flames.
However it didn't burn, it just felt like my hand was covered in a big black jelly then it started to soak into my hand until it finally disappeared leaving only a black tattoo of a single long sword on the back of my hand.
What..? I got my first tattoo at the age of 15..
Suddenly the word appeared in front of me again. `Now that you have your gift, I will explain it this mark makes you stronger when you need it so treasure it`. Does that mean I can lift up cars and stuff? Now that would be useful.
Before I knew it the frost was gone and I was left on the floor. I heard a sound a sliding sound I look up and a mirror is left in front of me.
I stand up to get a better look at myself in the mirror. I see the same thing every day: a short 15-year-old skinny boy with ragged black hair and bags under my eyes so big I look like a panda and bruises all over my body from the beatings I get from the school bullies and a runny nose just to top it all off. Damn... WHY DO I HAVE TO LOOK SO PATHETIC?
But I knew what I was I got called it every day by my classmates and teachers: pathetic, weak, disgusting... Why can't I be at least a little stronger?
I look at the mirror and before my eyes, I change. My pupils start to change to a bright red color, I grow taller, my body grows some muscle very quickly until I have a very athletic build.
My black hair starts to grow until it is long just to touch my ears and give me even better looks at the end of the change.
I look like a handsome teenager.
I can't believe what just happened! I look down and I look exactly like I did in the mirror at first it's hard to get used to my new height and body but I get used to it after a few minutes.
The mirror disappears and the words return. `So you have a new body and a power to help you on your new planet this will be the ending of the summoning ritual and one last piece of advice: lose all those pathetic emotions of yours or they will be your downfall`. Before I could ponder about those last words, an unknown rope like thing wrapped around my foot and it pulled me down with all its force.

I was eventually thrown out of the white space and greeted by the dirt ground. I look around and I was in a forest.
I then see a body lying next to me. It wasn't moving nor breathing. Crap... A dead body!
I want to scream but no voice came out I want to puke but nothing came out not because I didn't want to but because something was suppressing my emotions.
On the back of my hand the tattoo was glowing a white color then I realized that's what's suppressing my emotions.
I got up off the ground and kept a clear head thanks to the mark.
First, I need clothes because for some reason when they send you to another world, you have to be butt naked. I look around for anything but there was only one thing I could do. I strip the dead guy.
I finally saw his face under his cowl and it was a forty-year-old man with a slight beard and long brown hair and a long scar across his right eye.
I felt bad for taking all his clothes and leaving him here so I decided to bury him once I am done robbing him.
He had a very good armor with a lot of pockets some had bombs others weird looking plants but the thing I most liked was the long silver sword he had.
After I few good practice swings I strapped it to my back then I placed the same scowl he wore over my face after I was done I must have looked like a thief from a video game covered in all black.
Once that was done, I started digging a grave for the man. I found it took me all nearly an hour to finish burying him. I decided not to put across there because maybe he prayed to a different god.
Now, I have clothes, a weapon, and a few other trinkets but no food so it's time to go hunting.
But I don't know how to hunt or what animals are even edible... so what should I do?
Well, I have clothing, a few weird looking items in my pockets and a long silver sword strapped to my back and know nothing about this world...
My best idea that comes to mind right now is to find some kind of civilization. So which way would I go?
Well... I think I heard on the TV one day to always head north when lost so that's what I’ll do.
I start walking in the forest hoping that it’s at least close north. There were some steep terrain but besides that nothing eventful has happened so far...
Then, I got a thought what if he was one the last human on this planet maybe that's why I was summoned to fight for all humans. NAH... If that was the case then, someone who can create a harem or something would have been picked not me because I am a loner who likes the dark so I think I will stay like that for a long as I live.
I can see some sunlight up ahead. I run towards it then something sharp enters my leg.
It really hurts. I looked down and a small blade I in my leg. The pain forces me to fall down.
I turn around to see a short cloaked person whose I can't see but just by looking at him. I know he is powerful because the aura he gives off is that of death.
Damn... I need to run! I try to get up but the blade is still in my leg he starts walking towards me he gets halfway and stops.

"Are you the one who killed my disciple?"
What the hell is he talking about what disciple? And who is this guy?
"I don't know your disciple because I just arrived here. Please believe me!"
"You say you don't know my disciple but you wear his clothes and carry his sword? So you are either a liar or a corpse robber, Which is it?"
Fuck... I am the second but that's not something I should tell him! No, the only way out of this is, to tell the truth and that includes everything.
"I am the second but please let me explain myself. Just listen and everything will become clear, I swear!" He was silent for a few seconds, probably deciding my fate to live or to die.
"Fine, I will hear your out but if you lie or I don't like this tale of yours, you will die."
"Well, thanks for hearing me out. (I tell him everything that happened since the white sphere enveloped me and took me here but I didn't tell him about my life before the sphere that past is only for me)"
He was silent again but this time, the death aura left the air. He brought his hand to his chin like he was thinking hard. This was a good opportunity because I could tell his rough age now by his hand and by the looks of it he was old he hand was bony and old probably like the rest of him.
"So you say that you're a summoned one? Well then, show me the backoff both your hands that should prove to me if you are telling the truth."
He comes close and I remove the gloves from my hands (the gloves I stole off the dead guy) and show him my mark he takes a few seconds to look at it then he starts rubbing it like it will come off then he stands up.
He removes his hood. He is a very old man mostly bone in the face with a beard all grey and no hair but what was weird was his eyes they were completely black like someone poured ink in there he was very scary even with the mark suppressing my emotions.
"Sorry bout the whole putting a blade in your leg and everything and threatening to kill you but I thought you were a bad guy. But now I know it’s different, let me apologize."
What his words were so nice and he bowed how did they guy from before turn into this.
"No, it's my fault I should have not taken your disciple’s clothes and other items so I am sorry as well..."
"Hah... Now, aren't we a bunch of sorry looking guys? How about I heal your leg and we call it even?"
"Thanks, I would appreciate that."
He walks behind me and pulls out the blade I thought it would hurt but it didn't he must have some kind of technique so it doesn't hurt.
I see him pull something from his robe it is a rock the size of my fist it appears to have something written on it and glowing green he touches it to my leg and I get a warm glowing feeling from that area and all my injuries are healed like it never happened. I start to get up and I tested my leg out a bit and it felt fine
I could see the old man was now staring at me like he wanted to ask me something but I have no idea what it is. Should I ask him or not?
"Can I ask you a favor boy? Please take me to where you buried my disciple."
He was so sad, looking like he just lost his own son. I could not even begin to imagine what he was going through. I had to help him before I start crying.
"Sure, I can help you but don't think of it as a favor just think it as me helping one of my elders "
"You are very kind thank you."
We walked back to the place where I buried his disciple. The entire walk neither one of us said a thing until we reached the grave I made him.
He just walked up to it knelt down and hung his head after a while I saw tears streaming from his face. I wanted to console him but I didn't know what to say at that moment. It was the first time I felt completely useless in this new world.
Suddenly, he got up and wiped his tears. He turns around and gives me a smile but I can still see the tear stains on his cheeks.
"So you probably don't know who I am but I am in fact one of the 12 sages. I am the sage of Death and the man you buried here was my disciple his name was Jake he was also known as the greatest assassin on this continent but he died which means that I now have no disciple but I do see a good person to fill that position in front of me. All you have to do is say yes."
What he was offering me a position as his new disciple and what the hell is a sage? And if he is the one of Death then does that mean he's killed a lot of people? Is he going to teach me too? Can I really do it can kill someone too?
No... It's not right but it was not right on my old world but this world is different. I am different... I have power now!
Why should I not use it to do what I want? And want is want is to kill all those people who hurt me like on my old world but first I need training in killing and this man will give it to me. So like the saying goes:never look a gift horse in the mouth.
"Okay, I will accept your offer. But first, please tell me your name?"
"Well, that seem fair my first and last name is Bishop but because you are my disciple from here on out you will call me Master Bishop is that clear Kaito"
"Yes, Master Bishop."
"Good... Now then, let's get you to your new home."
He pulls another rock from his hand but this one had different writing than the last one and is glowing purple not green
He throws it on the ground, it smashes into a thousand pieces than all the pieces start glowing and floating and suddenly they start floating around as picking up speed faster and faster then suddenly a portal opens beneath us and the last things I see is my new master's face smiling at me.

8 127Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.
8 188Through The Eyes Of The Beast
Kill, Hate, Steal, Destroy, Rape. In the eyes of humans, these acts can only be done in extreme excess by a monster. a creature of nightmares. as soon as a human begins to do so, they are no longer considered human but a beast. However, it is not all true. Not all "monsters" do such things. Most just dont give a damn. In a world of piracy, adventure, and injustice are rampant, a beast waits its turn for the spotlight. Those humans can squabble over their power and their women, but not even the strongest can stand to The King Of The Ocean! I WILL BE KING IN THE END! (First time doing a fanfic. It should be interesting. Current world is one piece) (also, I'm making this to be unique so please enjoy and give me more Ideas for my brain factory. Thank you for your time, views, and Reviews.)

8 1690I Don't (August Alsina)
"Just tell me you love me, man." He said. I thought about and after what he said, my love for him died. There was no love. He wasn't the same man I fell in love with. He was different. He changed and I didn't love this new guy in front of me. "I can't." I said. He looked at me, tears in his eyes. "Don't do this, man. You love me, baybeh. I know you do."I bit my lip, trying hard not to cry in front of him. "August," I gulped, cursing myself because the tears I said I wouldn't shed, were shedding. "I don't love you anymore. I don't."
