《The Legend Of Drog》Chapter 1: Transmigration

On the ground laid a thin five-year-old child with closed eyes. He had black short hair and eyes of deep blue, wore rags and looked really dirty.
The eyelids of the child wavered but his eyes remained closed shut, "My head!" He grunted as he spoke in a childish voice.
With great difficulty, the child managed to open his eyes, he saw the blue sky and a huge white cloud which blocked the sun.
"What the hell happened?" He wondered.
With this thought, the cloud moved slightly and the sun no longer blocked by the cloud hit his childish looking face with its rays. The child squinted his eyes in response and moved his left hand to block the rays; when he did, he noticed something strange. "Why is my hand so small?" The child wondered.
The child's eyes moved downwards and he exclaimed in shock, "Why is my body so small?!" He then immediately thought, "Didn't something hit my hand? Didn't I die?!"
The child moved his left hand to the top of his head and touched it thoroughly. He expected to find some kind of a bump, but he found no such thing. There were no signs of it getting hit by anything. He moved his hand away and as he did a sudden pain assaulted his head and memories flashed through it.
These memories didn't belong to the youth who had friends, who attended the top university and who had a girlfriend. These were a new set of memories belonging to a child named Drog.
"Drog?" The child mumbled, "Who is that?" A confused expression appeared on his face.
"These are my memories? Am I not Yun Xia? Am I Drog instead? No! I am Yun Xia for certain! But these memories say otherwise and this small body says otherwise" A sudden realisation appeared on his small delicate face as his thoughts continued, "Did I die and transmigrate like in the novels? Is that even possible?"
Tears ran down his childlike cheeks, he mumbled with a quaking voice, "I have really died! I have really died! I have really died!" He repeated the same lines multiple times.
His eyes closed and three breaths of time passed, he calmed down and let out a huge breath and thought, "I need to get up!" He tried getting up once, twice, but every time he tried he felt his entire body ache.

"What is with this body. Why can't I move?" He thought and more memories flashed through his head. He now knew why couldn't he move.
Drog thought, "I was beaten to death? It seems Drog died, and I was sent to his body after my own death. I am really lucky, to have a second chance. No, I was unlucky to have died in the first place. All the people that I left behind." He apologised in his heart, "I am sorry, but I will live as Drog for now. So forgive me, dad, mom and my beloved Xu'er."
Drog closed his eyes as he rested his beaten up, body. While laying on the ground he also tried to recall the information about his current world and his situation.
"My name is Drog, I am five years old and have no family. This continent is known as Raikou continent. Every person cultivates from childhood. All professions in the world revolve around the cultivators. Those that can't cultivate are cripples and are looked down by everyone."
"The reason, I can't move my body is because the original Drog ate the loaf of bread in front of the three children who wanted to extort it. Following Drog's action, The three children got enraged and beat up him to death."
Drog smirked and he thought, "You sure have guts Drog and I like it. I will continue your dream, Drog. I will become the strongest under the heavens."
On this day Yun Xia, no Drog made a resolution - to walk the path towards immortality and to become unparalleled under the heavens. After resting for a couple more hours. He tried moving his body again. With great difficulty, Drog finally stood up. By the time this happened, it was already late at night.
Drog slowly walked out of the area he was lying in - moving ahead. He walked towards his future. These were his first steps in the new world. His first steps as Drog. Finally arriving at the small village after a few more hours; he recognised this village from his memories. Although he had no relatives, the people in town still took care of the children living there.
He went towards the shack where Drog used to sleep. Opening the door he was met with a deadly stare from a woman in her twenties. "Drog! How dare you come back this late!" She shouted.

This young woman was the person that took care of the children and all children call her big sister Ri. Drog looked at her and bowed his head, "I am sorry, Big Sister Ri."
Seeing that Drog was actually sorry, she calmed down, "It is fine as long you understand that you were in the wrong to return so late."
Drog nodded his head as he said, "Yes, Big Sister Ri."
Big Sister Ri sighed, "Go to sleep."
Drog nodded his head as he went to his bed from his memories and laid down, falling asleep.
The next morning he woke up from his sleep by the Big Sister Ri. "Time to get up Drog." Drog rubbed his eyes.
Drog yawned, "Good morning, Big Sister Ri!"
When Big Sister Ri saw him getting up the first time she waked him; she was taken aback. Not believing her eyes. "Are you really, Drog?" She asked.
Drog was taken aback but still ended up nodding his head.
Big Sister Ri nodded as well, "I prepared some water for you, go wash up."
Drog nodded and obliged, he walked out of the shack and by the side saw a bucket full of water. He bent down and washed both his face and hands. He frowned and thought, "I guess, no more brushing of the teeth."
Drog turned his head towards Big Sister Ri who was standing by the side, "When is the breakfast, Big Sister Ri."
"You are acting strange today, Drog."
He gulped his saliva, "How so?"
She squinted her eyes as she answered, "It is not that you changed but you seem more confident," She tilted her head in confusion continuing, "You look more stable, brave and serious. I like the new you."
Drog just nodded his head as he said, "I am still Drog, I just want to become a cultivator."
"Why are you saying this to me now?!" She shouted out in surprise.
Drog was taken aback by her shout but couldn't say anything because she continued shouting, "Why are you here, the admission tests to the sect are beginning soon," She frowned as she said, "Let's go I will take you there. If we leave now, we may get there in time!"
"Get on my back, now!" Drog nodded his head and did as he was told. Big Sister Ri first made sure that Drog was holding on to her, "Don't let go! I will go at my fastest speed!"
She frowned and jumped off the ground. She dashed to the north-west and moved at a very fast speed. Drog could only see the surroundings change rapidly. While she was dashing ahead.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She said, "And why did you tell me that you won't become a martial artist, a few days ago?" She sighed.
At this time Drog had already buried his head into her back as the wind was hurting his face and he didn't hear her question.
Big Sister Ri not hearing any reply just sighed as she thought that Drog didn't want to tell her. She kept her silence for the remained of the trip.
Breathing in her fragrance made Drog think about his own girlfriend. It was really relaxing for him. They travelled like this for two hours until stopping. "Get down we are here."
After she said those words, nothing happened. She turned her head, "Drog?" But the sight made her speechless. Drog was actually sleeping.
She sighed and carried him on the back through the city until they were at the place of the examination for the sect. She removed him from her back flicked his forehead with her finger. The action woke him up. He looked in his drowsy state at her.
"We arrived, it seems they still haven't started yet. In the time we have to snap you out of your drowsiness," She said.
