Chapter 37
"Um, is there somewhere else we can go?" I asked my guide as even more people started flooding the room.
"Of course, if you like we can go to the cafeteria on site or you may wish to visit the local parks if that is to your liking," he replied without missing a beat.
I nodded before asking "is there a bank nearby?"
"We have a small bank on-site. Its cash-machine let you outlet money from most known bank branches," he explained "Would you like me to show you,"
I nodded, following behind him as he leads me to the exit and also near the crowds. We got closer to the point where I could hear them, muttering, wisping, gasping. I could feel the stares, bitter, the words burning my ears, lies, the air thin and void of movement, dreadful.
I tried not to look at them. At those eyes. I gripped my hands together. I had too. I had to Incase I touched them. They might think me a thief, I wouldn't blame them. Who would ever trust someone like me?
I followed, weaving between the walls of people. I tried. I looked for my guide but he was so much faster than me. I felt my eyes move from him for a second, then he was gone. Sinking into the waves of people. This was a nightmare.
I looked around trying to find him but I couldn't and the walls of people move. Like a great storm, they crash against me. The pounds of my heart like thunder. I was drowning in my own fear, my weakness. I was always alone, I was always weak.
"My, my what do we have here," I felt my body press against something else. No, someone else.

"I'm... I'm sorry," I tried to say. My mouth was dry, my words hardly audible. I tried to pull away but felt a grip on my hand keeping me in place.
I looked to see a white-gloved hand holding my wrist. I felt its grip like cold steel.
Suddenly it felt like a weight was removed from my chest. Like the parting of the clouds, the fear disappeared. I felt a cool wave flow into me. An image of a calm pond filled with floating motes of light. Tiny speaks like a night sky reflected on the still water. But as I looked closer I felt uneasy. It was too calm.
"Why brother, are you that desperate for attention that you have fallen for stealing children now. I knew I should leave you at home, a dog like you should not be allowed near poor pure maiden," came a monotone female voice that knocked me out of my sudden... vision.
I turned to find two white hair people behind me. The owner of the white gloves seemed to be a tall man. The large shoulder has him a wide frame but his hight made him look almost lanky. Long silver hair was tried into a ponytail that mixed with his equally pale skin like that of porcelain. Deep blood red eyes glowed at me as he reached down.
"So sorry if I frightened you, my dear," he said sitting on one knee before he... kissed my hand. I didn't know what to do. I mean... what. That only happens in crappy movies, right.
"Brother, I should lock you up for being such a dog," came that same female voice.
I looked to see a woman standing next to this... as she said 'dog'. She stood only a little taller than me with the same red eyes and white hair but hers was much shorter only going up to the neck in small circles at the end. She wore a black dress with lacing flowing down it.
See looked board almost like a... kid.
