"Well miss that item is at the starting price of three hundred earth sterling pounds and will be sold later for an estimated five hundred however I can place a pre-bid value but it will come with a deposit," my guide explained as I looked down at the silver knife.

"Yes, I know... just...," I muttered trying to think of a good excuse but finding none I just gave up. I mean I already look like an idiot why bother hiding the fact that I don't really know too well what's going on.

I looked back at the knife to stare at it sadly. Not like I could have gotta it anyway but it would have been nice to pretend I knew what I was doing. Guess that backfired. I read the text again under it.

I look around at the other items for sale that caught my eye. There was a few of them like a ring that recorded sounds but it was going for two thousand, so nope.

Next was a box that stored as the card said 'fruits of wondering'. While I don't know what that is I kind of wanted to find out. It said a hundred pound but when I asked he said that there was a price of four hundred pre-bid on it.

"Why this one so cheap," I asked to find a small butterfly brooch sitting at the very end of the table. Its small silver body was mixed with blue glass wings so thin they looked like they would break if touched. A small pin attached to its back as a way, I guess, to clip onto a person.

"Well miss its very unstable for its the use while also being more cosmetic then of practical use," he explained with a hand guesser.

I looked at the card under it.

I spent what must have been a few hours just walking around the hall. I felt like the more I walked the more there was to see however I knew the building was only so big when I was looking at it outside.

My guide stays by my side the whole time. He seemed to be happy just to stand nearby until needed. As time went on more people seemed to come into the hall slowly filling it up, these people seemed while somewhat interested in the items on display, they mostly seemed to wish to chat and look at others around them. I felt a few odd eyes fall on me.

I felt that creeping fear slowly growing. I think its time I move on.
