《Chronicles of Xod (returning from hiatus)》Chapter Two: Eccentric Booblagoon (Part Two)

“Well now,” I imagined myself a mouse under the shadow of a feline who was feeling in a playful mood. “What do we have here? A manling?” Her voice reverberated in the cave and filled my head. I don’t know if I was having a sense of deja vu, but her penetrating voice seemed bizarrely familiar.
My lack of response due to the overwhelming terror I was feeling seemed not to annoy her but brought a wide grin. Each of her large pearlescent teeth was the size of my head. All she would have to do was lean slightly forward and bite and…
Her body shifted downward into the pool until she was low enough that her massive breasts rested on the bank. She framed the fleshy milk sacs with her arms as she placed her elbows on either side and rested her head on her palms. Her body swayed slightly and I could imagine her passively kicking her legs under the water like a girl at a pool. She batted her eyelashes which sparkled with a glint of what I assumed was fairy dust. “Well, how did you come to be here, boy?”
Her eyes shifted nonchalantly toward my crotch. I felt a wave of heat wash over me as goosebumps formed on my bare skin. I realized I had spent the last few moments similarly ogling her nudity. Despite the flight reaction I was having, my body still reacted to the situation. No longer numb to my passing memories of oblivion, my many senses seemed to be working again. At this inopportune moment, standing before both the pixie and her mother I was sporting a full erection.
I could feel the heat in my face spill out as the awkwardness of the moment set in. I glanced between the nude giant and pixie a few times, but it took me a short time to really get the idea that neither of them seemed to be bothered by the reaction of my libido. In fact, Guinevere had her head cocked as if she had never seen anything like what was between my legs. However, the uncomfortable pause that I was apparently experiencing alone went on too long.

The giantess shifted off an elbow and moved her index finger toward me. Her long colored nail poked at my chest as if she a cat checking if her prey was still alive before eating it, “Speak, child.” She said. Her tone wasn’t nearly as threatening as my body reacted to. Though it was enough to jar me out of my stupor.
“I’m sorry, um…” I paused tried to address her in a polite manner but then realized she didn’t really introduce herself. “I don’t know how I got here.” Trying to bring back memories was a real challenge. The attempt to remember where I was before my time in limbo gave me a slight headache. I covered my face trying to rub out the pain from behind my eyes. It was enough to push some of the fear out of my body, replacing it with confusion. I shook my head to bring me back to focus.
Her eyes squinted as she gave me a discerning look, “I see.” She leaned back, crossed an arm across her torso with her breasts resting upon it as she moved her other hand to her chin. She looked toward my thoughtfully and continued. “Curios,” She looked to me than to the pixie. “Gui, where did you find this manling?” She vaguely gestured her hand toward me.
“I was on my way to see you when I heard some noise before coming in to find him lying as he is in my font,” Guinevere explained. The meek higher-pitched voice was a stark contrast to her mother’s.
“I see. I wasn’t certain at first, but I believe you to be Chosen.” Her mother looked to me saying.
“Chosen?” Guinevere clasped her hands together with amazement as if she was just told they might be going to Disneyland.
The atmosphere in the chamber seemed to be much less domineering as the two women seemed genuinely interested in my being here, “What do you mean?”
“You were reborn of the font.” the fairy’s mother replied, “Immortal.”

I just didn’t know how to take in what she said. The culture shock was overwhelming and I didn’t really even what she had said.
“Just like in the stories?” The pixie was fluttering in the air, I almost expected her to do a somersault from the excitement. This only confused me further.
“Yes. I am certain of it, but there is a way to know for sure. Quite simple in fact.”
“Wait a moment,” I said with a braver tone than before. Fear blocked by confusion. “Did you say immortal?”
“Yes, manling.” She nodded once at me in affirmation.
“Oh, his name is Josh,” Guinevere said as she suddenly remembered.
“Josh?” she questioned the word almost in surprise.
“Yeah,” I replied.
“Was that your name before you came here, Chosen?” She spoke the title as if there was no doubt in her mind. The title of some legendary hero in an adventure plot seemed so unfitting to be given to me.
“Uh-huh.” I nodded to her uncertain why she asked in that way.
“Well, now you are reborn, Chosen. Reborn invisible to fate as a spirit of freedom.”
Although I understood what she was saying, it all felt so cryptic and alien, “Freedom?” I was suddenly unsure of the idea. The word so often associated with a political and nationalistic context in my experience that it gave me a bad taste. I wasn’t the patriotic type.
“Yes, free to make your own path in the world. Free to build yourself based on your desires rather than what fate decides. The world is your playground and its workings at your disposal.” She said so matter-of-factly.
“I really don’t understand.”
“Well, let me show you.” She leaned back down as she was before resting her elbow on the bank with her hand open and tapped on it with a fingernail. “Come here, Gui.” The pixie hovered over and landed standing on the flesh platform. “You too.” She said briefly and tapped on the ground. I walked over without question not really understanding what was about to happen. However, at this point, I was more curious than anything else. She lowered her hand to bring Guinevere to my head height as I approached.
I was much closer to both of them than before, I could feel the fairy mother’s heat radiating off of her body. I was so close I could smell the giantess. She smelled pleasantly like saltwater taffy. It was then that I could really get a sense of the size of her breasts. Her cherry-colored nipples were only an arm's length away. My mouth watered and my attention was brought back to my groin as my dick was reinvigorated. I blushed but tried to maintain composure.
“Gui, hold open your cloak please.” Her mother commanded as if her request wasn’t in the least bit unusual. However, Guinevere looked at her mother uncertainly at first. Despite my earlier thoughts, it did seem that the little fairy had some sense of modesty.
Rather than objecting, the pixie nodded in compliance. She looked down as she unfixed the violet crystalline broach that I hadn’t seemed to notice before and spread her arms open. There weren’t words for how I was feeling at the moment, but it was an abashed mix of many that I am certainly not proud of.
What filled the space I expected to be the pale figure of the small woman, was something bizarre and spectacular. “What the...?” I mouthed quietly. I wasn’t really sure what to make of what I was looking at. My brain was still not quite caught up with my senses by this point and despite knowing what I was seeing, I couldn’t grasp at the information overload I was receiving at the time. So, instead of explaining, let me just draw up something of a representation.

MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
