Arnaval walk with heavy steps. The sound of stone on foot reverberates outward with every passing step. He was thinking back on his fight with the tattoo man named Lock that he had confronted before. He grunted and swore under his breath. He still hadn’t found him.
He raised his palm and a invisible pule left it and returns a little bit later.
67 people left.
“Ho looks like it won't be long now.”
He had the ability to sense locations. The locations of people so a game like this was in all honesty a game to him. He could sense wealth he sensed that close by there was vast sums of wealth, honesty could even differ between money made through legal means and non legal means.
But it was this power that had him marked as expendable. He was soul off as a slave and an accident occurred that nearly had him killed but was saved by one of the grey worshipping freaks that live here only to be brought here. But he knew the truth! The faith he believed in would never lie to him! He new this was a test sent by the Red Queen herself! Because their was another thing he could sense! Secrets.
That right he knew that something was being kept secret here and he would find out what then put these heretics to death. But recently he felt something waver. His ability sense something that it could only describe as a mistake.
Then he felt another. That man who stood before the cattle and spoke the rules. He was beyond king class.
Only the priest of both talent and devotion could reach the realm of king. He had heard about some mages doing so with the help of the fucking grey.
But he would not dare stoop to such fowl nature perversion to accept the help of any but the Red.

“The dogmatic mind of mine is not sin but those to do not accept the idea that their thoughts will lead them to evil intentions are the ones at fault.
By the name of the Red I shall smite the non believers of this acurses templ-“
It was it this point he step into a clearing and had a blade launch at him from behind when he turned and reflected it with his spear he realized his mistake when a rusty longsword was placed between his ribs. He span around and their was the one armed man from before. He launched himself forward but at the last second thrust the back end of his spear into the man hiding in the tunnel he had just left.
“ Ggg!” He heard the man collapse. He guessed he fractured a few ribs and knocked some air out at best. But that was the first strike he turned his head and raised his hand. Fluuum! Fire came in a stream and soon the man was screaming. The man in front tried to use this but the knife in his hand was reflected and he lunged his foot forward at the price of extreme pain in his ribs and knocked the tattooed man to the ground he raised his spear but just before he lunged at him the handel of an axe hit him. Shocked he twisted his waste to face but that was a bit to much for him. Then he felt his head indent the ground as a rock was slammed on him. He felt his feet getting hotter and soon he was also screaming in the pain of the fire. Then a knife was place in the back of his head.
********
I collapsed a distance away from the body of the man who took my arm. The little girl was breathing heavily off to the side. The fight was won by her. She was the one who had thrown the object into him at the right moment leading to my victory.

I turn to see… it's just as two alive. Me and the little girl. Others dudes dead burned alive and the target got a knife placed neatly in the back of his head.
I feel like shit but I am still silently revealing in victory as I watch the little girl fly through the emotional baggage of killing someone. If you aren’t use to it you could never understand. I feel a bit light headed but all out I feel chill.
“ I won?” The little girl says.
“ Yeah! You were fucking fabulous.”
I should probably ask for her name but it will make killing her harder. Well I don’t need to do it so I won’t but if it becomes between you and me sorry child but unless it comes to that I should probably try to be kind and understanding if anything.
Must be hard on someone that young.
Now then that guy had some water somewhere so I guess I should seek it and probably clean my… my arms gone.
Oh yeah… masturbation going to feel weird for a while huh.
The fuck is wrong with me! How is that the problem at large.
*******
Nothing really happened from then on.
I never left the cave and mister went out to hunt at time and then he would return with supplies. I never got much but I was able to survive thanks to him and it wasn’t exactly easy to get the food.
But the challenge went on
Me and the man didn’t talk much I am quite in general. But if there was something different… I wanted to live. I was such a stupid idiot for everything even suggesting otherwise. More than live I wanted to thrive. I wanted to win. I needed to win. It was the first time I ever felt like this. The knowledge I killed a man kept buzzing around in my head and it made me feel… strong.
I had never felt that before. Power felt great. Amazing even. The best experience I ever felt.
Then.
“ Ladyssss and gentle, men the first challenge is over time to come on out you have 24 hours my gorgeous fellows of mine. Hahahahaha.”
Did he say first challenge?

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction.
