《End Boss》End Boss 32

The man named varon walked forward. From the door people watch him and then grasped as the flesh on his left hand seem to fade away. A small cycling votex of black sand bagan to form under him and it would grow as more and more flesh on his arm began to fall away. It was like he was slowly turning to sand... no he was slowly turning to sand.
Slowly but surely he stood their surrounded by a black sand that spun around him. Like both a tornado of power and might and a wall to contain him. But still his bones stood. But in time they too began to fall apart. But they did not fall into sand like his flesh. Now they were pulled apart. A ghastly scream assaulted the ears of those watched.
When the fragments of bone touched the spinning tornado of black sand that seem to resemble a laughing shadow. It turned to blood. A black blood. No that would not be the right word. It was the colour of shadows. Spinning and spinning it grounded the remain of the fragmented body once more to dust.
To most it would appear as if he had died then and their but a demonic laughter sprang from nowhere. It sounded like all the shadows in the room or outside of it were giving a very nervous laughter.
The darkness itself was afraid.
The light itself fled from the room.
As if they by order they were told to laugh the shadows laugh. It was a fake laugh despite how desperately the shadows tried to make it genuine.
Than a much deeper laugh came fourth. And the black vortex of shadows began to grow and grow.
And it would not stop growing until it consumed the room. And then it would leave. No he would leave. But he would be forever changed. Forever greater. For even now. Varons shadows has started to consume the world.
And outside a mark of a darker sign of these events. For it is not just here that shadows laugh. And a voice that spread absolute terror to all that hear it said “ And the sun turn red. All all who were touched by it’s light were bathed in fear. And they all knew. That the end was to be… soon hahahahahahahahahahahahaha ”
And across the world.
For now the world now knew. The end approaches.
Further back a tribesman looks up at the sky and saw the sun.
In the heart of the empire a man looks up and saw the sun.
In the land beyond the dragon ridge a woman looks up and saw the sun.
In a land east of the empire a child looks up and saw the sun.
In the other continent a king looks up and saw the sun.
In the another sky an angle looks up and saw the sun.
In another place a man of the sword looks up and saw the sun.
In another place a priest of god looks up and saw the sun.

Atop a mountain a dragon looks up and saw the sun.
And they all feared. For the sun is now red. And a red light is being cast down upon them. And in the background off all living things. A laughter is resonating. It is speaking. I have returned.
And now all know. The world has begun to end.
******
Huh would you look at that. He’s really showing off huh. He’s going to feel like shit later for using his technique in such a fuck you type of way. Dam. I really hate this. Come wake me up soon you basted. Although I will forgive you because a red star means your letting me take center stage later right. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I cannot wait. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I wonder what you did to feel so guilty. Hey grey don’t let me wait to much longer. Ok
*****
I ask myself. Is this a death I can fight. Am I doomed. I grip my blade the only thing that I can trust right now. Above me and round me all things are cast in red. The sun falls red.
A red star. As a man of the tribe I know very well what this means. But… the world is going to end soon. That is the first sign. When our god makes her presence know. The great dragon of death will follow her to our world. And the he will not come in peace.
No let's not think about that now. I can’t panic. I will do my duty here than quickly return to my tribe. Listen to the blade. Does it’s heart still beat. Then we march forward. Ever… ever onwards.
I continue my solum march though a jungle that once felt like the back of my hand now has a very alien feel to it. But still I march ever… ever onwards.
*******
There's a clang followed by more clangs. A bisected knife falls into the water behind me. A thought flashes. An assassin.
Clang clang clang. Like the beating of a anvil with a hammer clangs run through the forest in seconds. Hundreds of knives target me. But still I make my way forward. But then with a flash of insight. Behind me I quickly turn but no one is their.
Their blade is fast but mine is faster I use the side of my blade to guard the back of my head from a dart.
I sense bits and pieces but unless i’m surrounded this particular enemy can hide himself from my perception until they attack. They also have a good mobility despite being hidden. However they are or it lacks experience. When someone holds hostile intentions it realise a killing intent and I can sense that.
But still I march forward. I have no fear for I sense not my death from this assassin.
Then another blade appears before me and I dodge it while I slash towards it . I leap of off the water and across the ground. To my surprise I land on dry land. A temple. This is cursed land.

I look forward. Their is a little girl holding a sword. She bites her lip. The difference between us is clear as day. She is young. If she flees I will cut her down. If she charges I will simply remove her will to fight and spar her. And if she waits I will answer.
A little bit passes and she raises her sword into a defensive stance. Very well I shall answer.
I leap forwards and try to stab. It's isn’t a complicated blow but sometimes simpler is best. But in this case she brings the sword straight down and they collide. When the two blade make contact a cloud of sand is pushed from her blade and I leap back. For just a second I felt it. Death. From a child.
I look at her again and ready my attack. In one step I shattered the ground beneath me and launched myself at her. I bring my sword down but it is a false strike and I turn to deflect another blow that comes from behind. But I still underestimated the child because I feel a slight numbness in my side. She was waiting for a moment to strike me in the back. It was a good blow and if she had more experience or a lighter blade it might have done more than a shallow cut. To draw blood from a king as a warrior is an amazing act that deserves praise. I shall treat you with the glory you have earned.
She takes another step forward and swings her blade but I deflect. But shockingly she uses the force from my blow to close the distance between us. I try to elbow her. It collided and I watch her nose get bend and break off. As she is falling I kick her in the side of the head and she goes flying. I can see that half her face is now missing but she is a warrior a non fatal attack like that will not stop her.
Then I go to sheath the sword behind me but at the last second I bring it straight down besides me. I see a dark elves arm get cut though at the elbow but my blade continues downward and removes his shin from his body. I go to strike again but instead I use my sword to block the attack from behind me.
The little girl had thrown her sword at me to defend her comrade and in the chaos a knife finds its way into my side. I go to take my sword through the elf's head but see that he is gone and my attack misses. To have escaped me from such a distance remarkable technique elf.
I leap towards the girl. I covered the 28 meters that she was sent flying in one leap and slash at her spine from the side but before I can connect the elf appears again and grabs he the collar and pulls her away. My blade twists like a worm and pieces his shoulder.
I lean out of the way as someone throw a spear at me. I kick a rock and it collides with the head of the spear thrower and he falls down. Not dead just unconscious and I am a but disappointed at his low level in comparison to his company.
Then I feel a small push in my side. I raise my knee into the face of the girl and shatter her lower mouth. Her tongue hangs their loosely without the base to hold it in place. But despite everything she grabs the knife in my side and twists it. To hide her killing intent and strike me without my knowledge. It's like she see me as food impressive mental fortitude.
To my surprise I feel no pain and instead of blood a sand falls from my side. Poison or something else… a technique maybe. I kick the elf in the chest. I see a spurt of blood as my foot goes through him. I now notice two new knifes in my shoulder and side most likely from the both the elf. To use my own killing intent to hide yours and land not one but two blows on me with one arm. I see I am blessed with a good battle. Even if I know of my victory.
After pulling my sword out of the elf who collapses. As he is master class it will take half an hour for him to die even with those wounds.
I line up a blow to remove his head and pain so that his death may be quiet and quick but sharpe and with glory. But the instead the girl attempts another attack.
After dodging her blow I then with a twist of my waste I cut off both the girls feet at the ankles. She might live but she will never walk again. I will finish her off later because….
I can sense a king . And something else. A few red orbs rush me before I can end the lives of the other two unfortunately they will need to bleed for a little longer.
I dodge the first few then decided to deflect the last one. Once it makes contact with my blade it explodes disintegrated half my chest. The half with my heart. I fall to the ground.
So far since I stepped foot on this temple no more than fifteen seconds have passed.
But then I rise up again. See that is my tribes technique. Extra lives. Once a day I can die seven times. And that was my first today. I don’t plan for there being a second.
And I still do not sense it. My true death.
