Chapter 7 : Riviera

The sparring sessions quickly went by. Lucas and Lily were happily walking towards the cafeteria. They ate together and exchanged some stories while eating. After that they went to their own rooms. Lucas sat up cross-legged and began to concentrate after that he found himself again in his spirit world.

“Seems like I managed to connect again.” Lucas thought.

“Hahaha!” a loud yet gentle laughter rang out. Lucas was startled but quickly regained his composure.

“So can you explain to me what is happening here?” Lucas asked while looking at a girl wearing a white dress.

“Of course! If that is what master wants.” Riviera said cheerfully while walking towards Lucas.

“First of all let me introduce myself again, my name is Riviera and I am a Divine God rank armament.” Riviera said happily.

Lucas after hearing it stared blankly for almost 5 minutes then regained his thoughts and asked again.

“Hahaha, you must be joking right?” Lucas laughed as he heard this statement was too unbelievable because Divine God is the highest rank in soul power.

“I am not lying master. It is true that I am a Divine God rank armament but my power is sealed.” Riviera said somewhat sad.

“Eeh?! What the hell! How come you are a Divine God?” Lucas cursed as he looked at Riviera with fear and excitement.

“Because my soul is from a departed Divine God so naturally I am a Divine God. Your armament rank depends on your soul so if you are in Practitioner rank then your armament is also at practitioner rank.” Riviera said.

After that, Lucas arranged his thoughts and asked Riviera while smiling, “So now what will we do about your sealed power?”

Riviera looked at Lucas, “We can’t remove the seal so we have to start over again.”

Lucas after hearing ‘we have to start over again’ couldn’t help but ask, “Why we?

“Because master’s power is connected to mine so basically when you rank up I will also rank up but in a faster rate. Master’s power is already at 3rd level of Practitioner rank but my power is already 5th level.”

Lucas understood the fact that Riviera having a sealed power could only rely on him so he needs to work hard to rank up both himself and Riviera but suddenly he thought that ranking up through training is a hard task so he asked Riviera.

“Hey Riviera, how to rank up faster?” asked Lucas.

“You just need to absorb soul gems or absorb souls of other wielders to strengthen your soul. Absorbing soul gems is hard because you need to hunt down a Divine Beast to get soul gems but it is a good choice to gain experience but still, many choose absorbing souls of others wielders but it is a common thing in the Divine realm.” Riviera explained.

“How come I never heard of Divine beast? And also what is Divine realm?

“Ahh you still don’t know about this Master. Very well I will explain it. Divine Realm is a place where all wielders are placed. It is a vast world that cannot be compared here. To get there you must have a certain rank of Saint and then a keeper will bring you from here over the Divine Realm. You don’t know this because maybe all Saint ranked individuals here went there in the Divine realm.” Riviera explained it.

“Ohhh” Lucas was amazed then he thought that he should asked God if he can give soul gems to rank up faster.

“Thank you Riviera for this.” Lucas bowed.

“No need to thank me I am just sharing what I know to master.” Riviera smiled.

“So I can also manifest you right?” Lucas asked.

“Of course and also we can talk through mind so you don’t need to go in your spirit world.” Riviera said.

“Ahh, but I will still go in my spirit world to see you because you are too beautiful to forget you know.” Lucas smiled.

After hearing Lucas, Riviera’s beautiful face blushed, “Wha- What do you mean by that Master?!”

“Hahaha!” Lucas laughed then he disappeared.

“Hmph, Master sure likes to tease girls.” Riviera stated but her face is still flushed red.

Breaking his concentration, Lucas got up and remembering new information then remembering Riviera’s face while blushing.

“Hahaha, that girl sure is cute.” Lucas said.

“Hmph!, don’t think about indecent thing about me Master or I’ll beat you to death.” Riviera’s voice rang.

“Ahh?!” Lucas was startled.

“Hmph, you know you should think first on how to acquire soul gems because in this world there aren’t any Divine beast.” Riviera said.

“Ok ok, I’ll ask the headmistress tomorrow about soul gems and I should also ask if she knows about the Divine Realm.” Lucas said.

“Good then I will go to sleep and don’t disturb me or else I will break your face.” Riviera said while yawning.

“This girl sure is cute when angry.” Lucas smiled.

“I heard that!” Riviera shouted.

“Ok I will stop now.” Lucas chuckled then he went to bed. He then checks if he can connect his dreams to God then he found himself again in the white room.
