CHAPTER 1: It begins!
He look at his surroundings but he cant find the previous white room. All he can see are trees, very dense trees.
“I seem to be in a forest” Lucas said while pondering what God meant by there is another soul in my body. “Well no use in crying over spilt milk”. As he walked deeper in the forest, he suddenly come to a halt after hearing a strange sound.
“Damn, what is that sound?!” Lucas said while inspecting further what is ahead. There he sees a big wolf-like creature with fangs, black and red fur but it seems to be dead. “Whew! Good thing it was dead.” He said while wiping his sweat in his forehead, he turned back and continue walking when a sweet yet full of pain voice sounded next to the creature.
“Who goes there?!” (???)
“Wha—It’s still alive?! (Lucas)
“Demon don’t come near me!” (???)
Lucas walks further to the corpse of the creature but he saw that there is someone next to it panting heavily. She is a beautiful female elf with long black hair, silver eyes and slender body but she had a wound at her waist and it is bleeding heavily. “So beautiful and also… An elf?! ” Lucas exclaimed while he remembered that there is many races here in Elex.
“Are you ok?!” Lucas said worrying about her condition
“Don’t come near me and Im not ok¬¬—oh you are not a demon?.” asked by the elf while holding her wound.
“Of course Im not a demon, I’m a human… so what happened to you?” (Lucas)
“Argh!! Please asked later, if you had light magic quickly heal me!” (???)
‘Light magic?!’ Lucas exclaimed while thinking that magic also existed in this world and also thinking how to use it.

“Hey how can I use light magic?” Lucas asked curiously.
“What you don’t know how to use your magic?!” asked the elf full with disbelief.
“Ah basically yes because I can’t remember anything about my past and I just woke up here in this forest” Lucas lied because he don’t want to reveal that he is from another world and he don’t want to cause unwanted events in the future.
“Just put your palm in my wound and say heal, If you have light magic then its lucky me but If you don’t have then maybe I’ll just die from this wound” she said weakly.
“Ok…. Uhm… Heal!” he shouted.
A white light enveloped his palm and the wound of the waist of the elf. The wounds slowly healed until it is fully healed.
“Thank you... and who are you?!” the elf shouted while holding a dagger infront of her pointing towards Lucas.
“I—I’m Lucas” he said nervously.
“ Ok Lucas, Thanks again for healing me and also… I am Mira” Mira said while sheathing his dagger behind her back and extending her other hand towards Lucas.
“Nice to meet you Mira” Lucas said while extending his hand to shake Mira’s hand.

“ So basically you can’t remember anything and you just woke up from this forest and just continue to walk forward until you reach where we are?” Mira asked.
“ Yes and also what is that creature over there? Lucas said while pointing at a nearby corpse of the creature.
“That is a Demon wolf and I need it because of my mission” Mira explained
“ Ahh… Ok sorry to disturb you and I should get going then” Lucas said while standing up but was stopped by Mira.
“ You told me that you can’t remember anything so how can you navigate yourself out of this forest?” Mira said questioningly at Lucas.

“Oh I forgot about that” Lucas said embarrassingly.
“Then let me lead the way to the city as thanks for healing me” Mira suggested.
“Ok then I’ll be in your care” Lucas said while thinking of what will he do next.
‘I think I should get more information about this world first in a library in the city if there is one before anything else’ Lucas thought.

After a long walk, they arrived at the exit of the forest and Lucas followed Mira to the city. After several hours of walking, Lucas was amazed seeing the big walls of the city from faraway.
“Amazed? I welcome you to the city of Arun” Mira said while looking at the reaction of Lucas.
“The adventure begins!” Lucas thought and smiled while walking and continuing to look at the city walls.

Maybe hell isn’t so bad if you have infinite lives… until you don’t. Needless to say, it’s all fun and games until there’s no more respawns. Foreword: This story is meant primarily as an action adventure and secondarily as a dark and nihilistic comedy. It may not be readily apparent in the beginning, but that's what I have planned (I feel the need to emphasize the dark; don’t rage at me if it gets too ‘traumatizing’ or something). I’m going to take my time with this, so it won’t immediately inundate you with doom and gloom. This is also a comedy, remember? On that note, if for some cursed reason you just can't handle either the references or the jokes, I am willing to battle in the comments. Anyway, I still put a significant amount of effort into the system, so I hope you enjoy that part. It is a little bulky, I'll admit to that, but I wanted to try something new and its more fun when there's more depth to it. Regardless, I still have a lot of fun doing math in the middle of writing a fictional story (/s). I also want to see if I can keep from messing up the pacing. Many times, I end up going too fast because I'm afraid of the story getting boring, which tends to ironically have the opposite effect. I'm still learning I suppose; we'll see how things go. Lastly, please leave reviews and comments, they really mean a lot to me and (usually) help me improve considerably. I'll be asking for feedback in the polls and I do still check the old ones from time to time. Notes: The story takes a bit of time to develop; give it time if you're here for drama, grimdark, or antihero. The system is all blue boxes and I'm not half-assing the numbers. Chapters will be between 1k and 2k words usually. I always use the oxford coma, fight me. Might drop if rating falls below 4 stars, idk. It depends on how my life is going.
