《Amen To Spirits And Chests》Gemini Town
Advertisement
Gemini Town’s spiritual energy was pitifully weak despite its many advantages. Two rivers flowed side by side through the town bringing with it water qi. But the town and its people weren’t saturated with it. No, I could feel even with my burgeoning senses several great pulls on the water qi. As a result, Gemini had few cultivators who weren’t either town guards, sect representatives, or mercenaries.
We arrived at dawn from a final push through Gemini County. A flash of Logan’s inquisitorial badge of office gave us quick entry. Rubix hid in a deer hide satchel on my side while Glory hovered over my shoulder.
The city itself smelled like rotten fish and shit. Indoor plumbing probably wasn’t a thing or not something wasted on the peasantry. Though knowing the religious bent of this world, calling them a flock wouldn’t be inaccurate. Who knows, these living conditions might be excellent compared to other cities.
“The people here couldn’t revolt from the Count even if they wanted to.” Glory said.
Not a man braved the streets, and guards stuck to pairs of two or more. “Was Gemini her back up, a fall-back point, or just an experiment?” Emily asked.
Logan raised an eyebrow then looked at me. “What do you think?” The question took me for a loop.
I had tried not to think of Ula Amon even if I was bait for her. Catching her trail again never crossed my mind. After being found out, I thought she’d liquidate her assets in this area and go to ground. That’s what I would do, but she liked games. Or this could be a trap. Then again, it could be the work of an unrelated demon or a copycat. I never saw Panama town or Ula’s effect on it.
“Our first point of investigation should be a local haunted house. Well, if there are any in this town.” I said.
The man nodded. “I’ll give you a rit of permission, and a few of the Counts guards to begin your search. Remember to appear as pious as the most devout in your group.” I nodded slowly. “There will be no using your other form or those black flames. Gloria’s ice would be your best tool. From my last report, there are well over 20 houses within the city walls and 30 nearby. Be wary of independent cultivators. And use haunted houses to cultivate between raids.” Logan took on a knowing look and tossed me a few silver coins. “Go to a local house of ill repute, purchase a sidearm, and get a wash the evil in this town runs deep.” Inquisitor Logan said.

Emily looked from Logan to me, then slowly nodded. “I’ll join him in the short term to ensure he isn’t cheated. Do you believe this is the work of Ula?” Emily asked.
“I can’t say for certain. Question the high priest he’ll give us something or will be removed for incompetence.” Logan said.
“Let me take over the raids as well. Red isn’t ready to face Ula.” Emily said.
Logan stared back at the interrogator. “Neither are you. For now, I’ll pay my respects to the Count and his family. Emily, once Red is ready, present him to the castle.” Logan said.
Emily walked with me over one of the many bridges leading to a seedier part of town. Ironically once we crossed over, the air smelled cleaner.
“You seem rather comfortable out here,” I said.
“Men have needs, and yours have been ignored for too long. Until you reach the nascent realm, those needs can’t be ignored.” Emily said.
We opened the door to one of the fancier establishments. Long red curtains covered the interior, and a middle-aged woman sat at the counter. “A customer,” The woman smiled and stood up. “Welcome to the jade dragon where your pleasure is our wish. Come in please, I’ll call our wears to present themselves presently.” The woman turned to Emily. “Young lady, are you here to sample the jade dragon’s wares as well?”
Emily flashed a badge, and the middle-aged woman nearly turned white. “This man is a member of my retinue. I require the use of this establishments bathhouse while you take care of my subordinate’s needs.” Emily said.
“Of course, you may use our bathhouse free of charge, lady Interrogator. Please forgive my rudeness before; business has been slow few men brave the outside world. We’ve become desperate for coin.” The madam said and held up a triad amulet.
“You're forgiven this time. Bring out your wares.” Emily commanded.
The madam pulled a rope, and bells rang throughout the place. Finally, after three long chimes, several girls crossed into the room. Only they weren’t what I expected.
Three had the spiritual energy of the coalescence realm. A few had floating watery humanoid spirits floating about them, while one had a pink-haired.
Gloria looked between them all and pointed to the one with the pink spirit. “She’s the best one. Now I’m going to close my eyes and hum.” Gloria said.

I snorted but looked the girl over. She appeared young, late teens, very early twenties, with pouty lips, pale creamy skin, and blonde hair. Compared to Emily, she wasn’t quite as sturdy, her eyes were blue instead of green, and her qi was weaker. This girl didn’t have the anger Emily had, and she was a stranger.
“Hello, there handsome they call me Cherry Pie because I’m so sweet. Let me take care of you.” I looked back at Emily, who nodded. The girl took my hand and skipped off towards her room.
Her room was covered in small scraps of scrolls plastered on the walls. Each held fragments of cultivation techniques. “I didn’t think there were many cultivators in this city,” I said.
“Cultivation isn’t for the poor dock worker or the average riverboat captain. A fisherman needs to pinch every penny to feed their family.” She let out a sigh as she untied her red silk robe.
“Unfortunately, there aren’t enough gay sugar daddies to produce a single cultivator here,” I said.
Cherry snorted. “Anyone with enough talent can become a guard for the count, or if not, they can join his army. Sects cover the lands, but if you want to be an independent cultivator, you better be rich or strong.”
I turned to her and laid my deer satchel to the side. And began pulling off my clothes.
She exposed her perky breasts capped with delicate pink nipples. Just seeing them was too much. I charged, and she shrieked as I picked her up and sucked on her nipple. Her skin was creamier than it looked, and her nipples quickly grew stout between my lips. I tossed her on the bed and pulled her legs up as I struggled to get my pants down.
Logan had been right; it had been too long.
I yanked her silken wrapped undergarment off, exposing her glistening cunny. She was pink and swelling as I pulled on her, positioning myself. No matter what Rubix’s logical qi tried to enforce, this was simply human nature. I rubbed against her glistening, moistening, and sweltering flower dribbles of pre escaped and splashing onto her before my first thrust.
When I grabbed her legs just below her knees, I had more than enough leverage to push. Cherry gasped with a moan so uncanny that it could never be misinterpreted with real. Even bottomed out, I could feel her pussy clench and widen enough to expose me to the term throwing a hotdog down a hallway. Or, as the Chinese say, trying to stir a pot with a toothpick.
Still, I shoved hard and pushed against the sides of her hallway. Her cunny squeezed hard and refused to let go. I pushed hard and positioned her hips the way I liked it. Then I moved in close and snatched her nipple in my mouth. She grunted, and I could feel my meat stick beat on the door of her cervix.
“You might want to pull out; I might get pregnant,” Cherry said. I tried to pull away, but her legs were wrapped around me. A smirk appeared on her face. “What are you going to do? It's too late to retreat now.” Cherry said. She shifted her hips from side to side, rubbing me in just the right way to set me over the edge.
If there was no way to retreat, then I could only thrust forward and beat up her cervix. I pumped into her with all my considerable might, but she took it easier than I expected. Cherry had probably fucked hundreds of men.
She only released me after she squeezed out the last drop. “Of course, the chances are exceedingly low. I have a cultivation technique that keeps me from dropping eggs while I practice it. Should I drop one just this once? I could tell my other clients it's theirs; one might even feel guilty enough to marry me.” Cherry said.
I sighed; this woman took too much pleasure out of fucking with me. To make matters worse, I wanted to go again.
“How much longer do I have you?” I asked.
The girl raised a blonde eyebrow. “Another 45minutes, why?” Cherry asked.
So for the remaining time, I plowed her, took a bath, and left with Emily to get a sidearm.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
