As I reach the stairs I start to walk downwards, sighing internally, I think of how much my life in this sect is going to become a living hell. In this Heavenly Fire’s Sect, those who do not contribute in any way, don't even get to eat.
'Agh, enough of this self-pity bullshit, even after losing Yao Chen as a friend I gained so much strength from those attributes, let’s see how my gains look like.' Lifting my head from my slouching position I say internally. 'Status!’

‘This kind of progress on my status is just cheating, I went up 10 levels all of a sudden, my cultivation realm increased too. I need to get indoors soon so I can perform the body alteration.’ Eagerness and happiness plastered all over my face I try to grasp the strength of my body while looking for any abnormalities, seeing none I next concentrate in my Qi realm.
From what Li knew, Qi realms or cultivation realms are divided into the first stage that is Qi condensation, then Qi refining, Foundation establishment and lastly Core establishment.
Sure that there were more stages, I think about the fragmented memories that I inherited, half the useful introduction about the cultivation world is lost in Li Xiao’s memories. Hazy and blurry due to excessive drinking.

Walking faster half frustrated half happy I reach the even smaller shack then the one Yue Chen owned, this one is located in the utmost border of the Outer Sect Disciples mountain that is on a precarious road by the small space in front of a steep ravine. For a person used to all kinds of luxuries like myself, this living arrangement was just simply not acceptable.
‘I really need new living quarters but from what I can remember about the sect, to do that I need to rank up.’ Searching deeply, the blurry memories of the previous Li Xiao Nu slowly resurface and I encounter the introduction to the sect made by an old man of the central pavilion about how the sect works.
To Li Xiao who had a comfortable life as a mortal because of his background, that kind of information was useless at the time he joined the sect. But he soon realized the importance of all kinds of information regarding the cultivation world as he began training in the immortal ways, but unfortunately, he still behaved like a playboy and a drunk. Never taking cultivation seriously made his Dantian swell with murky Qi and further damaged his progress.
I walk into the small shack and look around for a comfortable place to think. When I was still developing technology and groundbreaking inventions, people knew all about my oddities. How I would immerse myself in various things and not pay the world around me any attention.
Of course with the years I became less self-centered and more relaxed around people, making everyone around me more comfortable. That is how I discovered that I didn’t have to do everything by myself. Of course, here I would have to gain new friends and allies, but that came later.

Finding an old chair and picking it up from the floor, I notice that the room hadn't had much use as Li was always in either bar's or in the red light district at the mortal city next to the Sect.
I dust the chair and sit on it to ponder about what to do next while my mind wonders through all the things to be done. After what felt to be half an hour, my ideas are finally organized and I reach the conclusion of having my body upgraded first and then sort what kind of things can be done to move up on the sect’s rank.
