《Tourism Record of the Origin Dragon》Record 042: Geography

Manifold. Material Realm. Northern Kingdom's Capital - Aurora.
Inside an inn near the royal castle.
The priest keeps walking back and forth in his room. Two days from now, the ceremony would be held. He doesn't know what the king is planning, but he knows the king would at least hold onto Origo until that day. After that, there is no guarantee that Origo would not escape again.
He had a crude plan about letting Origo see the kid, making Him feel guilty and somehow decide to stay. It wasn't the best plan, but that's the only thing came to his mind at that moment.
It's late afternoon, but he hasn't received any news about the kid yet. The last ray of sunlight is going to disappears soon. The priest silently steps out to the balcony, staring at the royal castle nearby.
A ray of brilliant white light suddenly appears in a western corner of castle. That light pillar raises into the sky, dwarfing the sunlight. As sudden as it came, it soon disappears, leaving some white particles gliding down.
In the same Inn, bar area.
Rector, Neon and Argon are having early dinner so they could enjoy the festival at night. The festival is still technically in preparation stage and will actually start after the ceremony in 14th. However, this year's festival is in a much bigger scale so they could have already enjoyed the attractions.
"Ssso thiss iss an..kol..." Neon stares at the mug in front of him.
"I heard you Lacertian have high poison tolerance." Rector raises his mug, seemingly drunk. "I want to see if it's true myself!"
"This is poisonous?" Argon asks suspiciously. Though he doesn't believe they would serve poison like this here so he still takes a sip. "What in the nature's name is this?!"
"You don't have alcohol there?" Rector raises a brow. "I thought the trading between and the Western Alliance was good. Anyway, it's a drink, but it's technically poison too since it gives you Confusion, Paralyze and Poison status."
"We only import human's Tools and Weapons, not poison." Argon says with a sigh.
"Huh?" Neon places the mug down after drinking it all in one breath. "Confusion? Paralyze? Poison? I don't think I get any of those."
Rector and Argon turn to stare at Neon in disbelief.
"Who are you? Give my brother back to me!" Argon tries to distant himself from Neon. Using this chance, the older lizard grabs the younger one's mug and drinks it all in one breath. "Hey!"
"Interesting. Ha ha..." Rector says with a reddened face.
The three keep enjoying each other's company, ignoring the food on their table along with the knights whom they were spying onto...
In the same bar, at another corner.
"What do you say? An angel?" One of the knight asks in disbelief.
"I swear to you! I saw it with my own eyes!" The other knight says. He just returned from his shift to 'guard' the Origin Dragon.

"Then where is he?"
"Origo doesn't let me bring the kid back."
"Are you sure he didn't turn the kid into a Birdman like those from the Western Alliance?" Another knight suddenly asks.
"You don't trust my eyes? I'm sure it says [Lv3 White Angel] above the kid's head." He says then glances around the bar. Currently the only non-human around are the two lizards. Pointing at the lizards, he continue saying. "You could go ask them. Birdmen have beak and no arm. The kid looks exactly like a human with paler skin and a pair of white wings."
"Birdmen live in the north-west of Origin mountain ranges, while those Lacertian lives in the north east swamp of the Origin forest. They live too far apart."
"You speak like you are a geography expert."
"Want to try me?"
"Ha ha ha..."
"Waaa" The kid, who is sitting on my left arm, exclaims.
"What the heck is this?" I say while staring at the disc placed in front of me.
"It's the map, Your.. Sir." The man who was sent to teach me about geography says.
It does indeed look like a map, but I didn't expect this world, or at least this realm, is disc-shaped. I can't feel it with my scale, but the map probably made of wood. It's a 'small' circle that could fit in my palm, and it's pretty light too as the man carried this 'map' out by himself.
We are currently in the garden as there is nowhere else I could fit my huge body in this castle. It's night time, but the sky is even brighter than the day with the two moons in the sky. I heard that they will perfectly overlap each other at midnight, 14th of this month, which is two days one night from now. I can admire them later, now I need to know where I should visit.
"This is your Temple." The man point at the center of the map. Exactly center. "This is the Origin Mountain Range." He runs his finger on a brown streak with pointy mountaintop. The mountain range runs from west coast through the center and stop a little to the east. "This is the Origin Forest." Then he points at the green patch to the north of the mountain range.
"Who the heck named these things?" I ask with a frown while stoking the kid's white hair with my right claws.
"It's in your domain, so us human wanted to name them after you. Now that we know your name..." The man says while keeping a light bow.
"No! Just keep them like that."
"Ah.. okay. Where were we? Right, these small kingdom are the Western Alliance." The man wriggles his finger above a group of icons on the western end of the mountain range. "This alliance are consisting of various beast-man and non-human kingdoms. They are minority races who usually live in tribes or villages."

"So the high priest came from there?"
"No, the Elven clans are further south." The man points his finger to the far side, which is close to me. "Do you see the huge mountain in the south? The elves live in the forest just north of them."
South of the Temple is a vast plain decorated by forests, rivers, lakes and mountains. That's where various kingdom icons are scattered. Each of these kingdom are around the same size of the western alliance. So these beastmen are really minority race. This northern kingdom, on other hand, spanning up to like one-fourth of the map's diameter.
After naming the various kingdoms to the south with little to no details, the man starts talking on and on about the northern kingdom, from economy to military. This isn't good. I want to know about Tourist spots but he barely introduced me to the world map. There isn't even a symbol for that Lake town here, and I have to guess where it is by the lake's odd crescent-moon shape. Now that I think about it, the moons in this world are always full.
"Are you done talking here? This kid is bored to dead." I point at the tiny angel sleeping on my left arm. "And he is not allowed to die before I kill him."
"Ah.. Sorry sorry." The man gives a low bow then grabs the disc.
"Leave the map here."
"As you wish, Sir." Soon he disappears from my sight, leaving the quiet garden for me with the kid and a holy knight standing nearby.
I keep staring at the wooden disc, trying to memorize the landmark. I might ignore and forget people's name, but I don't want to get lost while traveling.
The world is surrounded by ocean. North of this kingdom is a pointy peninsula painted white. The man only introduce the 'Mountain Range of Eternal Freezing' on the border and nothing further that point. I'm not sure if I could tolerate cold, but there isn't any icon there so I guess there isn't anything interesting to see.
To the west is ocean. The east is also ocean. Huh? What is this? Floating island? The man didn't tell me what this place is. It looks like a tourism spots, but it'd be troublesome to fly across the ocean.
Western Alliance, huh? I rarely see beastmen and non-human around. Everyone around me are humans except for me and the high priest. Ah right, the high priest...
A few hours ago.
"This.. an angel?" After the light show dies out, the knight keeps his eyes on the kid whose hair is now white and have a pair of white feathered wings.
"Yes, he isn't human anymore. He can't become Holy Knight like this, right?" I say with a smile, watching at kid who keeps trying to touch his own wings.
"That's not really a problem, you know? The High Priest is a [Lv60 Elf], you see?"
Yes, that's what happened. I couldn't see people's Race and doesn't pay much attention to tiny people around me, so I didn't know that he was an elf. Enough thinking about that Sadist, move on~
The various kingdoms in the south are all human-majority. The man said that non-humans are allowed to freely travel in some of them, but he didn't say which. Dragon count as non-human sentient being too, right? I hope I don't have to use my identity to travel around. Worst case scenario, they think I am a monster and kill me. Not like I fear death. I'd rather die than being worshiped.
Further south of the map is the huge mountain with a dragon symbol on its peak. So there are other dragons in this world. That makes sense since they use dragon-scales as currency. I wonder how those deities created dragons in this world. Sentient or Not acting like a beast would be nice, that'd save me the trouble of pretending to be a normal dragon.
The pointy land isolated by the huge mountain on the southern most is a patch of green. But there is a tree symbol with a half-sphere for canopy in the middle of the forest. What kind of tree is this? The man didn't say anything about this point. He probably doesn't know a thing about it since it's on the other side of the world.
That's pretty much for this world; or actually just this realm. I heard that there are other realms. My impudent servant is in Ethereal Realm. I wonder if I could visit a non-material realm like that. Then there is Soul Realm which it not a place to 'visit'. The man who brought this disc didn't seem to know about any other realm. I heard Vitae mentioned Deities' Realm, but that would be the last in my list due to how lofty they are.
"Hmm, is learning about other realm considered Geography?" I chuckle to myself about the silly joke. My voice makes the kid sleeping on my left arm roll over and almost falls off if I didn't catch him with my right palm.
Slowly closing my claws on the child, completely covers him, I start wondering if I could really kill human without blinking an eyes. The rock-headed man.. Felix, I killed him as a consolation because he was going to die anyway.
I try to image if I would squeeze my claws down really hard right now. Blood could no longer make me afraid, so I could stain my claws as much as I want. The kid would turn into a mess of flesh, blood and feather like a bird flying at high speed into a wall. If I am strong enough, there wouldn't even a scream... But right now, it would take me a while to completely snuff the life out of the kid.
"Just wait, kid." I say in a whisper. "I, Origo the Origin Dragon, promise to reunite you with your dad on my Heaven." Huh? Condemn? WHAT THE HECK? Why does a spell's name appear in my mind?!

8 120Island Paradise (Grashien Chronicles Book 1)
The Grashiens have survived in hiding for millenia, peacefully watching over the human race from within. The arrival of one girl sets in motion a chain of events that will be impossible to stop. What will come of this unexpected change in circumstances? How will the tribes react? And will the Grashiens be able to rejoin society for good? Author's note: This is the first book in what is expected to be an eight-book series. The first few chapters aren't very good since they were written when I was about ten, but the quality improves around chapter 7. Please bear with it; I'll try to get the chapters in as soon as possible. Thanks!
