《Tourism Record of the Origin Dragon》Record 019: Invitation

Second day, Month of Origin... One day after the Dragon of Origin 'escaped'.
The news about his escape had reached the King of the Northern Kingdom. After all, the Temple of Origin had to get permission from the Northern Kingdom before bringing a squad of high level Holy Knights into the Kingdom territory to capture the Origin Dragon.
The news went fast because in this world, there is actually a RPG-like mailing system. However, not everyone has access to one of those "magical envelopes", a kind of "magical artifact", aka "premium item" in gaming term. And those envelopes are one-time use, losing its effect after one instant-deliver.
The high priest sent a m-mail (like e-mail, but magical instead of electrical) to the King of Northern Kingdom to ask for permission right after he prepared the troop.
A bearded man in a delicate red clothing with white fur neck, his hair are blonde with hint of grey, was sitting on a no-less luxury chair beside his work table. The table was filled with stacks of papers, not high enough to hide his face from the two people standing on the other side, but enough to show that he is a busy man. A little to the right from his front, on the table was a golden crown with engraved gems. A typical look for a King.
He raised a white envelope in his right hand, closing his eyes as he talked.
"The Dragon of Origin is in our territory. The Temple of Origin is asking for permission for deploying a small squad of high level Holy Knights to the town bordering Origin Forest."
"Those bastard! They declared to be Neutral but now they want to deploy their military into our Kingdom?" A man in Green clothing with a decoration of a Sword and Shield as the coat-of-arms. The clothing was not as delicate as the King's but it's enough to show his status. He, the Kingdom's Minister of Military, short tempered and short sighted in other things, but excellent in managing the military force.
On the opposite, the Minister of Diplomacy, a gentle-looking sly man, wearing a Blue clothing with exactly same decoration as the Green one but with a Book on the coat-of-arms instead of the Sword. He raised his arms to interrupt the complaining. The Military Minister was annoyed but a glare from the King made he understand that his words were inappropriate in front of the King.

"So, what do you think?" The King slightly turned his head and asked the Diplomacy Minister.
"I think this is an excellent situation that the Dragon of Origin decided to enter our land..."
"I will go to capture him, for the glory of our Kingdom!" The Military Minister raised his fist and eagerly declared.
"Are you sure you can do that without bringing harm to the him?" The minister in blue gently asked while turning his head to look at the green minister like a father looking at his child. He was about to retort but the King interrupted him.
"Why did you say so?"
"We can let the Holy Knights in, under a few conditions..."
A "birthday party"... Even though I hate being the center of attention...
It was supposed to be a festival celebrating the creation of this world. Because I created this world (somewhat), they have been using me as decoration for this festival. And because this year I'm coming too, they add an extra step and make it my birthday party.
That's what the "High Priest" tell me. I was invited to the Origin Festival so they will "escort" me to the Northern Kingdom's capital. In a cage.
It isn't too bad though, the floor seems to be floating above the ground so the ride isn't shaking at all. When it's sunny they have a big veil covering the outside of the cage like a carriage. I'm not sure if it could block rain though.. Is there even Rain in this world?
The cage is about 8 meters in height and about 6 meters in other two dimensions. I measured it using my 12 meters long body as a ruler. It's supposed to be even bigger than my last incarnation's apartment; but now I'm a huge dragon, the cage only has enough space for me to sit up tight with my wings uncomfortably folded to my side and the tips of my horns scratching the roof.
Speaking of my horns, I don't even know how my face look like. The image I used to create this body was a fuzzy imagination. I will be mad if those deities decided to add something funny when they made my Shell a living body. I will probably need a big mirror later after I escape.
"You are thinking of escaping." The proclaimed High Priest says. He is now sitting in front of me, on a chair backing against one of the cage's bar. To my size it's a cage, but from a human perspective, it's more like a wall-less temple with metal columns. And I'm a huge statue. At least the high priest isn't protruding. He is just sitting an looking at me. Because I'm big, I barely notice him so I don't find his stare annoying.

"You read my mind, again." It's not the first time he did it. When I thought the bare handed fighter sold me, the High Priest said the oracle knew I'd come so they deployed their Holy Knight to that town. The second time was when I thought about smashing him like a bug with my fist or cut him open with my claws; he said my damage wouldn't be able to scratch him. However, he still ordered the knights to chain my wrists to stop me from hurting myself by trying to attack them. At least they didn't chain my entire body.
"Your mind is widely bared like an open book. The Gods said you left it open so they could read your instruction to create the world."
Ah, so that's why this world is similar to one of the RPG I developed. It's good that I can now curse whoever created this system.
"Are Pee Gee? Does that mean World? So you created other worlds too?"
I hate explaining things so I just leave it be...
Ah, I'm so tired of sitting still for hours! Fortunately, I don't get itchy or I'd have a hard time trying to scratch with my cuffed hands. My wings are numb, I want to stretch them but when I clumsily tried, I couldn't manage to slide them through the empty spaces between the cage's bars. If I had better Str I'd fly the entire cage away. There would be problem when I try to land though.
It's noon now, the cage's roof provide me shade although I don't feel uncomfortable under direct sun light; but the Knights do, so they decide to rest. The squad including the High Priest are just about a dozen of people and they had to constantly levitate the cage with magic, it would really be tiring. Not my problem though.
We are in middle of a big plain. There are a few trees along the paved road. My cage is placed on the side of the road, near the shade of a huge tree where the knights are resting.
A Knight suddenly stands up and walks away from the shade of the tree and climbs into the cage I'm sitting in.
"Do you want some?" He stands in front of me and asks.
I don't understand at first so I look down and squint my eyes, trying to make out the tiny thing he is raising toward me in his hand.
"What?" I ask bluntly.
"Dry provisions." The [Lv 59 Holy] man raises the thing in his hand higher. It's a block of something that look like a tiny brick.
"Is your head made of rock or something?"
"Rock? They say that to me all the time. Probably because my second aptitude is Earth."
Ah, I remember this man now. He was the one that broke my arms last night using an Earth spell. Slight anger raises in me and makes me want to pay back but then I remember their view on being my exp...
"Get lost." I say then look away from him. Because my eye's level is at 4 times his height, 'look away' means I just look straight ahead.
"I'm sorry for last night..." The rock-headed knight speaks slowly, pauses, then continues. "It's a grave sin for an Origin Temple's Knight to bring harm to you..."
"..." I'm trying to resist saying "It's fine." here. Stop speaking under that tone!
"I will be executed after this mission..."
Huh? Execution? I'm having mixed feeling here. I wanted him to suffer for what he did, but now I know that they are going to execute him, I feel sorry for the knight...
I'm following the "Tyrant Dragon" route!
"I forgive you." was what I wanted to say... but I didn't. I don't want to think about this anymore so I try to bury his image to the back of my mind, try to ignore him. However, a part of me wants to comfort him. Mixed feeling keeps coming and going...
After a few minutes of being ignored, he decides to leave. I look at my cuffed hands, thinking for a second. Ah, I'm going to regret this...
As he turns away and before he starts walking toward his squad , I bend down and chomp on the unsuspecting knight...

Reincarnated as a Warlock with zero skill
My previous life was just as boring as yours. I was a marketing manager for a flooring company. The biggest challenge? Would the latest colour be called "Grey Oak" or "Oak Grey". Then, tragedy. I was struck down in the prime of my life by a negligent delivery driver and a pallet of laminate flooring - which is significantly heavier than you think. So there I was, smeared on the floor, absorbed in my own self pity. Where would I go? Heaven? Hell. Did I care? Apparently that was not what fate had in store for me. Reborn in a world of dragons and fantasy, I became a Warlock. A pretty darn important one too. The problem, I had little to no affinity to magic and I spent most of my time doing my best to avoid danger. Danger however, would not avoid me. So, with my new life as an amazing Warlock you'd think it would be easy street right? Wrong. Forces gather to move against the Kingdom I am sworn to protect and, whilst my inward allegiance is to whomever is the victor, outwardly I must lead the resistance against the invaders. With my skilled companions Asha - a mage that can actually do magic and Torg - a swordsman sworn to protect me, I can only hope that they distract the enemy long enough for me to run away.
