The Reincarnated Boy's Tears:
Arc 1: Arrivals and Encounters
Chapter 1: Tears of Despair
"Ahg!" the boy cried out, as he was beaten by a much larger man. That said, despite this he did not try to beg him to stop or call for help. He knew if he did, he would only be beaten more, and with increased brutality.
His name was Koruko Yuuki, and he was currently being beaten by his father. He was about eleven years old, and he had great grades. He actively studied a wide variety of subjects, and in truth, he was already making his own money. He was academically brilliant and hard working, and he was already supporting himself economically. So then, why is such a boy being beaten?
Its in truth, the other way around. Early on, he noticed that no matter how much he cried, how much he asked, no matter how stupid sounding the lies that came out of his parents mouths were, no one would help him. It was as if no one was acknowledging that his parents abused, beat, and neglected him. Maybe his parents threatened them, or maybe they just didn't care.
So he decided he would learn everything he could. About academics, about money, about life. His plan was rather simple. He would learn everything, and once he was old enough that he could convince people he could live on his own, without his parents, he would leave, live independently from them, and finally be free.
Incidentally, he decided on this plan, a child decided on this plan, at age seven. After his arm was broken when his father used a baseball bat on him.
However, today it seemed his father was especially angry and pissed off, and was beating him harsher then normal. Not that it was the first time.

He braced himself as hard as he could, and was curled up in a ball, but he could feel all of his injuries piling up. In his mind, he was raving with rage and anger, bitter and broken. But he wanted to live. He wanted to stay alive. He had to get away.
He had to.
He had to run somewhere.
Where could he run?
He hurt so much...
He cried out for help so many times, but no one ever came. He knew that no one would, but it was instinctual.
There were scars and burn marks across his body, especially his back, arms, and legs.
The beating went on for longer then normal, but then, he felt something snap...
After that happened, he awoke in a strange place. He remembered though, he had been kicked and thrown out of a caravan by a group of lowlifes who had kidnapped him to be their entertainment...he was six years old named Yuu, with no family name.
As for the carriage, it was not only on fire, but slashed to pieces. The same thing...he did the same thing at his orphanage, which he was kicked out was. He...Yuu...had pleaded that he did not know what was going on, so he was called Cursed, and a Monster, and kicked out at six years old.
Wherever he went, people would do bad things to him. And when bad things happened, he was blamed. And so, he ran, ran far away into the forest. His heart was already long since broken as Yuuki, and as Yuu, it had only been broken further. Even in his reincarnated life, it seemed abuse and neglect would follow him forever.
As night time came, the young Yuu managed to make it to a cave. His right eye felt like it was burning, and he didn't understand why. He could not see if it got injured as he had nothing to reflect it with. As for why he did not stay near the road, he didn't want to be taken advantage of or deprived again. And yet...

He heard it, coming from the outside. Growls of hungry beasts, as night began to fall and his vision could not see anything. But he could see their eyes, the eyes of five wolves. They came and charged at him, and so he braced himself. However, the only thing he heard was the splattering sound of blood. When he opened his eyes, he saw it. All of the wolves were dead. They had been torn to pieces.
His eye still hurt, but then it started to cool, and in that moment, the nighttime became more visible for him. Somehow, he was able to see well at night, like it was just overcast. He could hear the beasts scurrying around outside, and the smell of blood infuriated his nostrils. However...having killed simple beasts, he did not feel sick to his stomach in the slightest. No, with his broken heart and disgust for anything aside from himself, perhaps the killing of other life simple did not bother him.
Either way, he had meat now, which was good because he was starving, but he had no way to cook it.
I need some fire...what?
Suddenly, as he thought that, a fire was ignited from his hands. He had already been reincarnated, but this still surprised him enough to fall backwards on his rear.
"M-magic? I can use magic?"
Seeing this, he felt a bit shocked, but then he realized it could help. He had no firewood, but he thought if he could create fire, he could just create heat.
Lets try focusing...lets go for medium rare!
And so, conjuring heat, he both kept himself warm in that moment, and also was able to cook the wolf meat. It took him awhile to fully figure out the output, and honestly, it felt like it was draining him of something, but as his mind got cloudy, it smelled like it was just about ready.
"Alright then...thanks for the food" he said to himself, as he began to eat with his hands and teeth. He had no utencils, nor was it reasonable for him to. The only reason he only had to heat a part and not the whole wolf was because it had been properly sliced up by...something. Yuu did not know what it was though, and he wasn't sure if he could trust it. Was it really protecting him? Or was it messing with him? He had to assume the later.
After all, while he could use magic, he had this feeling in him whenever he used it, but no feeling like that existed when the wolf was sliced up. He heard some noise for sure, but...he didn't see anything around him, nor did he understand what had happened, aside from the fact it was not him using magic.
And so, in that night, Yuu finally drifted to sleep after filling his belly.
However, this was only the start of his journey.
(So since is the first chapter, of the first arc, it ended up being more like a prologue, but I hope you will keep reading and enjoy it!)

Spear of Aiste
It was a beautiful day outside. The sun was shining, fluffy white clouds adorning the sky. Birds were twittering, flowers were blooming, the trees’ leaves were rustling under a gentle breeze. The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I have taken inspiration from waaaay tooo many novels that I liked, and while there aren't any specific ones that I based this upon there are a few that I definitely took inspiration from like : the author's POV, chronicles of the heavenly demon [you can probably see where this inspired me ;)], etc.
