To say that Elizabeth had a lot of dreams going into Rotham Academy would be an understatement. She and her good friend Vivian awaited the results impatiently in the empty Ducal manor. White walls and halls stripped of their valuables. The girls sat together with anxious expressions, staring at the small blue square sitting at the center of a glass table. Looking at Vivian's black hair wrapped up in a ponytail and her serious expression never failed to amuse Elizabeth. Vivian had grown up alongside Elizabeth, more like a sister than her actual flesh and blood. A light flashed on the table and a voice filled the solemn atmosphere.

"Your request to house together has been affirmed by the Rotham Tower Council. No changes will be made unless requested by your respective houses."[Professor Harkley]

Lizzy and Vivian leaped into each other's arms, sharing a hug. If Azalea had seen this scene, she would've admonished Vivian for not knowing her station. She was born a maid, afterall. Born to serve. Lizzy had always felt that was nonsense. These days, watching the noble's treacherous actions as soon as her bastard of a father was gone was all she needed to see to know she was right. Lizzy and Vivian had always done everything together, now they knew they could continue to do that into the future.

Lizzy's first day living in Rotham was like a dream.

It was just her and Vivian, her sister could not bother her about 'etiquette' or lecture her on the separation of the classes. She was finally free, and so was Vivian. Every day was as sweet as honey, but dreams end. Returning to her room after looking around, Lizzy found that Vivian's things were all gone. Not an item in sight.

She ran out of her dorm and searched high and low. She asked everyone she could, yet no one knew what happened. She finally went straight to the source and asked the Teacher's council. Apparently, Vivian had been transferred. Elizabeth would get a new roommate soon. Who would do such a thing? There was only one person that could.

Azalea. When Arrieta appeared, Elizabeth knew exactly where she came from. She was a damn spy from Azalea, that tyrant of a sister could not leave her alone, and now she had taken Vivian from her as well. If it weren't for the fact she believed Vivian was safe and had only transferred, she might have thrown that wretched spy into that pit of flames.

All Elizabeth wanted to do was be happy. Why was that so hard for Azalea? If it wasn't for those damn nobles and their damn stuck-up practices. For all Elizabeth cared, the whole damn thing could collapse into dust! Lizzy questioned the spy, but she was uncharacteristically quiet for someone working for Azalea. Alsa knows all she could get for subordinates weren't worth much.

Elizabeth had to cut her questioning short and did her best to make this spy's life a living hell. That would teach her, surely.

"Wait! I admit it! I did it! I did it! But I had a reason! She's a spy! I swear she's a spy!"[Elizabeth] Liam did not bother to turn around, letting out a sigh, he asked,

"A spy?"[Liam]

"The only person that could transfer her in my room was my sister! She deliberately separated me and Viv! She has to be a spy! Sent here to watch me!"[Elizabeth] Liam turned around with a face full of disappointment,

"Elizabeth, you lied to me. Is this not treating me as a tool?"[Liam]

'oh shit, did I break up a couple? Eh, they'll be fine.' Elizabeth's face was filled with distress as she slammed her head into the ground with tears streaming down her face, she whimpered,

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't want you to think of me as a bad person!"[Elizabeth] Liam shook his head and turned towards Arrieta.

"Will you make an oath proving your innocence right now? If so, we can camp together."[Liam]Arrieta jumped up and hollered,

"I swear I didn't work for Azalea before the pre-test!"[Arrieta] Liam raised an eyebrow and asked,

"Oh, you do now?"[Liam] Neidr butted in and said,

"I dragged her into it. How do you think we got out of the pre-test?"

[Neidr]

Liam turned to look at Neidr, and he asked,

"Are you doing anything under her orders now?"[Liam]

"No."[Neidr] Liam heaved a huge sigh and said,

"You can stay. Eat well, I'm not hungry."[Liam] With that, he walked away while Lizzy wailed, blood spilling from her forehead. She chased after him, but he stopped her at the edge of the camp. Elizabeth crouched down and hugged her legs, shaken, she gently rocked back and forth. Liam walked deeper into the forest, soon enough, his back could not be seen.

'Well, these meat shields turned out to be pretty useless. What am I going to do with all this soup?'

Neidr looked at the freshly cooked soup with a forlorn expression. With a sigh, he poured himself a bowl and started to eat. Neidr was no good at this relationship drama bullshit, so he decided just to let them vent in their, he threw a glance at Elizabeth who was muttering and rocking back and forth, 'unique' ways. He glanced over at Arrieta who was looking down at the ground, her shoulder slightly shaking.

This girl had given away their position as spies at the drop of a hat, but Neidr didn't really care. He wasn't planning to do a lot of spying in person anyway. He only needed to report rumors, so what if Liam and Lizzy knew? Well, he also needed to make sure, Elizabeth didn't get into too much trouble, that was primarily what Azalea wanted from him. Arrieta knew this too, that was why she was so lax with her lips regarding their arrangement. She shouldn't be shaking because of this, then Arrieta pulled Neidr's sleeve and said,

"Would you hate me if I lied to you?"[Arrieta]

'Ah, right. She saw how Liam and Elizabeth just broke apart, she must be worried because of that.'Neidr smiled and said,

"Are you trying to harm me with your lie? Will it hurt me indirectly?"[Neidr] Arrieta shook her head and said,

"No."[Arrieta]

"Then I won't hate you."[Neidr] Arrieta gave a small nod and looked at the ground again. Neidr spoke up again and asked,

"Is it something hurting you that I could help with?"[Neidr] Arrieta was silent for a moment, and then she came close to Neidr, casting a glance over at Elizabeth before whispering to him.
