Harmonious

Liu Feng got up from his bed and headed towards Lei Jun's father’s medicine shop. It was night thus he sneaked on the rooftops employing the usage of the cloak of the night making him almost invisible.

He soon reached the medicine shop, entering the medicine shop from the window of Lei Jun’s room he sneaked towards Lei Jun’s parent's room.

“I need to kill them off as well. They know that I brought back Lei Min’s body as well. I cannot leave any loose ends.” Liu Feng convinced himself.

But some part of him did not want to kill the people who took care of him and provided food to him.

“I must do this!” Liu Feng shouted in his head.

As soon as he entered he saw Lei Jun’s parents lying on the bed. He walked up to Lei Jun’s father and placed his hand around his neck before swiftly snapping it. Lei Jun’s father did not even know he died.

Liu Feng then looked at the woman who took care of him like a mother. Hesitation crept upon him, he wanted to just leave. He did not have the will in him, but he had to. To guarantee his safety he had to kill people, his path would be filled with bloodshed.

If he quit now he would never find out why his parents died, he had to be merciless and cruel even to himself.

He walked to Lei Jun’s mother and placed his hands on her neck, closing his eyes he snapped her neck. He stood there for a while contemplating the deed he had done.

He placed both their bodies in his ring and quickly started packing their stuff into his ring. “Doing this will make people think that they had left West district in a hurry, and no one will suspect foul play.” Liu Feng thought as he finished packing Lei Jun’s parent's room and headed towards Lei Jun’s room to pack.

It took him about 10 minutes to pack the things into his ring. He then headed downstairs to where Lei Jun’s father kept the medicines and stored everything into his ring.

Finishing all this he left the medicine shop through Lei Jun’s room window and headed back to his place.

Liu Feng decided to leave to Central district tomorrow morning as he needed to buy a Supreme cultivation art, to cultivate further.

He headed to bed to get some sleep, but could not even sleep a wink. He kept thinking back to the scenes of him killing Lei Jun and Lei Jun’s parents.

“Dammit stop haunting me! I did what I had to do!” Liu Feng screamed getting up from his bed covered in sweat. Looking out his window he saw that it was already 7am in the morning.

“It’s already 7? I did not even sleep ah shit!” Liu Feng cursed.

Getting up from his bed he had a quick shower and some instant noodles. He then headed to the bus station and purchased a ticket towards Central district, on the bus he dozed off, finally managing to get some sleep.

“Kid, we are central district wake up now.” The bus attendant tapped Liu Feng’s shoulder to wake him up.

Liu Feng woke up wiping the drool off his face. “Thank you for waking me up,” he said as he got off the bus.

Liu Feng walked around the Central district for awhile taking a look at the different things they sold at the market place. He also asked for directions to the Infinity Building and they all guided him to the center of the central district.

Approaching the center of the central district, he saw a building almost 100 stories high. “Holy shit! Is this the infinity building?” Liu Feng exclaimed out loud.

“Hey, kid first time?” An elderly man walked up to him and asked.

“Yes, this is my first time seeing the infinity building.” Liu Feng replied as he checked the old man’s cultivation.

“Do you need a guide, to follow you inside infinity building to assist you?” The elderly man asked.

Observing that the old man was only at Qi refinement 2, Liu Feng rejected his offer and headed towards the infinity building.

He had to pass through a scanner the same as the one in the Phoenix building, he passed through the scanner without hiding his cultivation level thus showing a cultivation of Foundation Establishment 1.

An attendant immediately came towards him and asked, “How may I help you, Sir?”

Liu Feng showed his VIP card and said, “Please bring me to the VIP room, and then I will tell you what I am looking for.”

“Right this way sir.” The attendant escorted him to the lift and pressed the 100th floor.

“There was actually a 100 floors in this building. And surprisingly the VIP room is not in the basement like the Phoenix building.” Liu Feng thought

“This way sir.” The attendant brought Liu Feng to the VIP room after exiting the lift.

Entering the VIP room, Liu Feng was shocked. The VIP room was 100x more lavish than the VIP room in the Phoenix building.

The room was decorated and furnished with high-quality furniture and art. It was a circular room with a sofa in the shape of a semi-circle right in the center and a circular glass table, with bookshelves and cabinets of wine and alcohol surrounding the circular room.

The room was lighted by a crystal chandelier, with a transparent window opposite the sofa covering the other hand of the circular room. Allowing people to look at the Central district, the Wildlands, and the distant Chaos Lands.

Liu Feng was shocked to see that the Chaos Lands was covered with dark clouds, with red lightning occasionally striking. Making the Chaos Lands seem like hell itself.

“Sir, may I know what you would like to purchase?” The attendant asked.

“Sorry, it is just the first time that I am seeing such a view. I would like to purchase a Supreme Cultivation Art, would I be able to see them?”

“Certainly sir, we have over 20 supreme cultivation arts. May I know your budget?”

“My budget would be 1 orange dram.” Liu Feng said as he did not want to spare any expense as this cultivation art would be with him all the way.

The attendant was shocked at the budget of Liu Feng, he then said “please wait for a moment as I go and bring all the 20 supreme cultivation arts for you.”

Liu Feng browsed around the bookshelves, waiting for the attendant to come back. “Even the attendant here has a cultivation of Qi refinement 7.” Liu Feng thought.

The difference between the West district and Central district could be clearly seen. Browsing through the books for about 10 mins Liu Feng decided to purchase some books about the history of Central district as well as Infinite University.

“Since I will be studying here for the next four years I will have to know about this place thoroughly.” Liu Feng thought.

After a while the attendant came back with a briefcase, “Sir I have brought back the 20 supreme cultivation arts, we have 10 low-class supreme cultivation arts for 15 purple drams. We have 7 middle-class supreme cultivation arts for 30 purple drams, and finally, we have 3 high-class supreme cultivation arts for 60 purple drams. Which want would you like to see first?” The attendant asked.

“Please display all of them on the table for me and then I will decide.” Liu Feng said as he wanted to see whether any cultivation arts display either red QI or gold Qi.

The attendant was confused with Liu Feng’s request but still complied and displayed all the jade slips containing the supreme cultivation arts on the table.

Liu Feng observed each one of the jade slips, looking for any red Qi or gold Qi. Scanning through the jade slips, Liu Feng was shocked at the sight of one particular jade slip.

He asked the attendant, “What supreme cultivation art is in this Jade slip?”

“This high-class supreme cultivation art is called the its origins are unknown but, we date it to be 5 million years old but no one has been able to use it so far. Are you interested in this art?”

“Yes, I am interested in this art and will be taking it immediately,” Liu Feng said taking out 60 purple drams and placing it on the table.

The attendant was shocked by Liu Feng’s quick decision and took the 60 purple drams and gave Liu Feng the had slip containing the Harmonious Cosmic Duality supreme cultivation art.

“Also I would like to ask if the infinity building sells the deva boost skill for the late-stage and the peak stage. I need it to finish my collection. And I would like to purchase a few books regarding the history of Central district and Infinite University.” Liu Feng asked the attendant.

“I will have to check give me a few minutes.” The attendant said packing up all the other jade slips into the suitcase before exiting the room.

“Yes! I hit the jackpot. But the attendant said that this was dated to be 5 million years old isn’t that around the same time I left the asura planet? Either way that doesn’t matter, I have found the perfect supreme cultivation art for me.” Liu Feng thought as he glanced at the jade slip in his hands.

The jade slip was emitting both red Qi and gold Qi.

After a few minutes, the attendant came back with 7 books in his right hand and a jade slip in his left hand.

“I have with me the books you have requested, and our infinity building only has the late-stage deva boost skill. This books plus this boost skill will cost you 1 purple dram, will you be buying it, sir”

Liu Feng did not expect it to cost 1 purple dram but still paid it anyways. Keeping the books and the jade slip containing the late stage of the deva boost skill, Liu Feng exited the Infinity Building.

“Thank you for your patronage please come again.” The attendant said to Liu Feng.

Liu Feng headed towards a hotel and booked a room for 3 days for 20 blue drams.

Heading inside his room Liu Feng immediately took out the jade slip containing the harmonious cosmic duality and place it on his forehead, allowing the information to enter his mind.

“This art is amazing it will allow me to accumulate Qi into my Qi sea without having me to manually control the Qi particles, this art will also stabilize my gold Qi sea and aid the process of my red dantian merging with my Qi sea. The balance is perfect, this art seems as if it was created just for me.” Liu Feng thought.

He then placed the jade slip containing the method to cultivate the late stage of the deva boost skill on his forehead. 4 hours passed and Liu Feng fully comprehended the late stage of the deva boost.

“Let’s begin cultivating and see how much it fills up my Qi sea.” Liu Feng said out loud.

2 hours passed and Liu Feng finally finished cultivating with 45% of his Qi sea filled.

“The base Qi accumulated in my Qi sea with the harmonious cosmic duality supreme cultivation art is only 25%? 5% lesser than when I previously cultivated.” Liu Feng thought.

“Even though it is 5% lesser, my foundation is way more stabilized that when I cultivated with the advance asura cultivation art.”

“And with the late-stage deva boost, It gives me an increase of 20%, when I get my hands on the peak stage of the deva boost skill. I will be able to accumulate 50% of Qi per day! Allowing to break through a layer every 2 days, this is insane.” Liu Feng thought with a smile on his face.

“Now with this settled time to hit the books.”

Liu Feng said heading to the study desk of the hotel room taking out the books he bought.
