Arts
Liu Feng finished cultivating the cloak of the night and had a feeling that he will be able to break through to the late stage in a month.
He progressed fairly quickly with the eight ethereal strikes as he used martial tears and it was a human marital skill thus it did not pose any difficulty for him to comprehend it, but the cloak of the night is a deva defense skill thus it slowed him down.
Either way, Liu Feng was quite happy with his progress, he headed to the library at school to find out more about the three great arts.
When he reached the library he immediately headed to the section for the three great arts. Liu Feng spent almost the whole day in the library learning about the arts as there were so many books about it. He finally understood the gist of the Arts.
Each of the Art be it Alchemy, Weapon smithing and Armour forging all of them require the use of Runic circles. Runic circles consist of sigils, for a grade F armor, weapon, or pill to make it one would need to use one runic circle formed of the required sigils.
And for a grade E item, one would need to use 2 runic circles increasing the number of sigils thus increasing the complexity as well. Once someone can make 2 Runic circles regardless of which art, will be called a rank 2 master of that Art.
Since the sigils required for one Art itself is already very taxing to study, people will only study one Art. Some exceptional people will be able to study 2 arts, no-one has ever studied 3 arts before. He also learned that techniques are used to control the Runic circles and such techniques can be used for any amount of runic circles as long as one had enough comprehension, like Liu Feng’s Interspatial ring combination technique.
With all this information Liu Feng had a plan to study Armour forging as he already was a grade 1 master forger since he could make 1 runic circle to upgrade his interspatial ring, he also planned to study weapon smithing since his necklace could upgrade his weapon with beast cores.
But he did not know any techniques for smithing as the necklace upgraded his weapon by itself.
“After searching for an entire day I could not find any mention of a technique which can upgrade interspatial rings, I think I should just keep it to myself as it is a Deva technique.” Liu Feng thought.
There were also organizations for each of the specific Art and one could register as a specific ranked master if they had the skills.
West district has branches of the three organizations as well. But Liu Feng did not want to register now he wanted to wait until he got the scholarship and move out of West district and to the Central District where the Universities are.
As Liu Feng left the library he saw that the sky was getting dark he took out his phone and saw that the time was 7pm. He decided to head to the market place to sell all the loot he got from Bai Li.

After haggling with the merchant for a while he managed to sell all the loot in his ring for 44 blue drams and 90 green drams. He then converted his 100 green drams into 1 blue dram, which made his current wealth to be at 45 blue drams and 6 white drams.
Liu Feng wanted to head home but decided to visit the Phoenix Building to search for clues regarding the Bai Hu’s father since he was the 5th-floor manager for the building.
Liu Feng heard chatters when he was walking about the market place, regarding the destruction of the Bai clan and that many people were speculating who did it. Liu Feng heaved a sigh of relief that he learned the cloak of the night which allowed him to hide his cultivation level.
When he reached the Phoenix Building he immediately surpassed his cultivation by 1 realm which made it seem like he had a cultivation of Qi gathering 4. He headed to the scanner and an attendant came to him.
“What are you looking for?” The attendant said
“I am loo..”
“Young Sir you came again!” The attendant who assisted him in buying the cultivation art walked up to him.
“You can go attend to somebody else I will attend to this young sir,” he said to the other attendant
“Young Sir if you don’t mind me asking why is your cultivation level so low?” The attendant whispered to Liu Feng.
“I am suppressing my cultivation with a martial skill so that it won’t be known, as I came here to look for information”
Liu Feng said with an arrogant tone as he switched to his young master persona.
“Ohhh such a skill exists it must be miraculous your family must be well to do,” the attendant said trying to pry information from Liu Feng.
“Does the Phoenix building sell information?" Liu Feng ignored his prying and asked him.
“Yes Yes, our Phoenix building does indeed sell information please follow me, young sir,” the attendant said as he escorted Liu Feng to the elevator.
As they were heading to the basement where information is sold Liu Feng asked “What is your name since you have attended to me twice you have gained the privilege of letting me know your name.”
“This humble one's name is Chu Meng I am the 7th-floor manager of the Phoenix building” the attendant replied.
“Okay, Chu Meng do you sell information on the whereabouts of certain people?” Liu Feng asked as they walked out of the elevator.
“Yes, we do sell information regarding certain people at the information counter which is just up ahead.” Chu Meng said as they walked towards a counter with several people behind them filled with computers and papers. Despite the number of things behind the long white marble counter in was very well organized with a sign on top which said Information Broker.
The attendant brought Liu Feng to the counter and asked him “Young sir whose information are you looking for?”
“I am looking for information and the whereabouts of the 5th-floor manager of the Phoenix Building” Liu Feng said with a stern expression.

Chu Meng was shocked but immediately replied “ Young Sir this information would have been hard if he was still the 5th-floor manager but since he has been expelled from the dragon Phoenix building his information will be available for sale.”
He then told the attendants behind the counter something and they all began typing on the keyboard of the computers. Within 2mins or so a paper started printing from a printer and they gave it to Chu Meng.
Chu Meng read the paper and said “this information is worth 1 blue dram would young sir like to purchase it?”
“Yes, I would like to purchase it thank you.” Liu Feng said as he took out 1 blue dram from his interspatial ring and gave it to Chu Meng and took the paper from Chu Meng.
As he read the paper he was surprised at how detailed the information was with information such as blood type, cultivation level, etc. Bai Hu’s father’s name was Bai Si and he had a cultivation of Qi condensation 2 as for the whereabouts it was stated that he was last seen in the middle area of the wildlands.
Liu Feng grinned as he read the paper since he already had plans to head to the wildlands. Chu Meng was observing Liu Feng and was startled by the blood lust he felt from him.
“Umm young sir if you don’t mind me saying something, our phoenix building also buys information,” Chu Meng said.
Liu Feng looked at him and asked “What information are you looking to buy from me?”
“You bought information about Bai Si including his whereabouts, do you have something to do with the extinction of the Bai Clan? Or do you know something about it?” Chu Meng asked.
Liu Feng’s started overclocking his brain thinking of something to say, “I do know something about it but how much is the information worth?”
“If you can provide information regarding who killed the Bai clan we will pay you 1 purple dram but if it is a piece of vague information it will be lesser and depending on the quality,” Chu Meng said as he knew he hit the Jackpot.
If he bought the information from Liu Feng he would be able to sell it to a lot of people as it was the hottest topic in West district now which would allow him to get promoted to the manager of higher floors for his service.
“I do know who killed the Bai Clan but I cannot reveal much about them because if I do they will annihilate my family. All I can say is that they are from the Central district and Bai Si had offended them in some way as to why I bought information about him is to gift it to that the Clan from the Central district.” Liu Feng said as he weaved up a story on the spot.
Chu Meng was shocked about the information as Liu Feng’s family is already a powerhouse since he already has an interspatial ring and had enough money to waste on a useless cultivation art for his collection, for Liu Feng to claim that his family can be annihilated as well this shows that the Clan from the central district that Bai Si had offended is not to be messed with.
“Young sir for this information I will be able to pay you 50 blue dram,” Chu Meng said as he took out a pouch from behind the counter and gave it to Liu Feng.
Liu Feng was shocked at the amount of money he got from a piece of made-up information. But he quietly took the pouch and kept it in his ring without showing any facial expression.
“I will be on my way than” Liu Feng said as he walked to the elevator.
“Thank you young sir for this valuable information, pleasure doing business with you please come again.” Chu Meng said as he sent Liu Feng off.
Liu Feng reached home and had a shower before making some Cup noodles and eating. As he thought about the events from the Phoenix building he was ecstatic, just by making up something he had gotten 50 blue drams since he knew that the strong clans were from the central district. With this 50 blue dram added to his wealth, he now had 94 blue drams and 6 white drams.
With the information regarding Bai Si, he decided that he would go to the middle area of the Wild Lands to test his strength as well as to kill Bai Si.
The next day Liu Feng was packing up as he decided to spend the next 4 months in the Wild Lands and come back 1 week before the scholarship starts which is on the 1st of June and since now is the 24th of February he had plenty of time to train and track Bai Si down and kill him.
Liu Feng now had 80% of his dantian filled and tomorrow he would be able to break into Qi condensation 5.
After he packed all his essentials into his ring he headed to the market place to buy some Qi replenishments pills which will allow him to immediately replenish his Qi during combat.
This Qi replenishment pills have different prices based upon the percentage of Qi replenished. Liu Feng bought 10 Qi replenishment pills which replenish 10% of the person’s QI for 10 green drams each and he also bought 5 20% Qi replenishment pills for 20 green drams each.
Once that was completed Liu Feng headed to the West Gate to enter the wildlands he used the cloak of the night to hide his cultivation to Qi gathering 4 and walk through the scanner.
“Time to hunt Bai Si down.” Liu Feng said with an eerie as he made his way to the middle area of the Wild Lands.
