Infiltration
“Arghhhhh!!!!” Liu Feng screamed as he clutched his head. Memories started to appear in his mind, this time he was looking through his father’s eyes as he was standing in front of an elderly man with 10 wings on his back.
“Hundun Tian, your mission is to infiltrate the blacksmith clan of the Asuras and retrieve their method of upgrading a celestial armament,” The elderly man said.
“Yes, father I understand and will carry out the mission” Liu Feng’s father Hundun replied.
“Take this stealth defense martial skill with you and learn it so that you will be able to infiltrate the blacksmith clan of the Asuras with ease.” The elderly man said as he true a jade slip to the Hundun.
As Hundun placed the jade slip on his forehead the contents of the defense skill were being absorbed by Liu Feng as well.
“Father I have grasped the defense skill and shall proceed with the mission,” Hundun said as he flew upwards to the sky.
“ such an amazing defense skill!” Liu Feng said in astonishment as he woke up.
“This will allow me to hide my cultivation level by temporarily sealing it so no one will be able to see my true cultivation level, thank you father and grandfather for this timely gift,” Liu Feng said as he bowed towards the sky.
“I have already reached Qi condensation 4 with 3 days left I will be able to enter the Qi condensation 5. But should I use the three days to consolidate my cultivation?” Liu Feng contemplated.
“I think I will use the three days to consolidate my cultivation and with the eight ethereal strikes at the late stage, I will be able to break into the peak stage 3 days later without even needing to use the martial tear. Since I only used 2, I still have 2 left which I can use to get the Cloak of the Night to the middle stage which will allow me to hide my cultivation by 1 full realm which will make it seem as if I am only at Qi gathering 4.” Liu Feng made a decision.
He then sat down and swallowed a martial tear and started to cultivate the Cloak of the Night. The early stage of this defense skill would allow him to hide his cultivation by 5 layers down and at the early stage, it would allow him to hide his cultivation by 1 full realm down.
As for the late stage, it would allow 1 realm and 5 layers, and the peak stage would allow him to hide his cultivation by 2 realms down, it would also allow him to manifest a cloak to hide him in the night.
“Not sure how the cloak works but once I reach the peak stage I will be able to find out.” Liu Feng thought to himself as he was cultivating.
3 hours later he finally cultivated the defense skill to the early stage. Liu Feng got up and started to rotate his defense skill as a black layer of fog started to restrict his dantian. His cultivation went from Qi condensation 4 to Qi gathering 8, he truly felt as if he was at Qi gathering 8. With a thought, the black fog dispersed from his dantian and he was back to Qi condensation 4.
“With this defense skill I will not have to worry about people finding out my cultivation level,” Liu Feng said with a sly smile on his face.

“Time to go do some recon on the Bai family’s estate,” he said as he left his apartment.
The Bai family’s estate was near downtown towards the West Gate. As soon as he reached the estate he noticed multiple guards outside guarding the estate, he revolved Qi around his eyes to determine the cultivation level they were at. With the highest being Qi gathering 8 and the lowest being at Qi gathering 6.
When someone breaks into the Qi condensation realm they were able to revolve Qi around their eyes to determine a person's cultivation but if the person had a higher cultivation they could prevent their cultivation from being seen and they would also notice the person who was peeking at their cultivation level.
Liu Feng walked around the estate and noticed that there was a total of 50 guards and they have spread around evenly but the south wing of the estate had more guards than the rest of the other wings. Thus he concluded that is where they would be keeping their prisoners and their assets.
Liu Feng headed home and begun cultivating the Cloak of the Night to the middle stage swallowing his last martial tear.
-3 days later-
“I have finally reached the peak stage of the eight ethereal strikes allowing me to master the 7th and the 8th strike”. Liu Feng said as he swung Kumo in a whirlwind motion clockwise and anti-clockwise.
The 5th strike was a sweeping motion to the left at the opponents' feet with the 6th strike being a body shot coming from the right will a huge swing at the ribs. Followed by the 7th and the 8th strike of the whirlwind, now that Liu Feng was at the peak stage of the eight ethereal strikes he was able to chain all the strikes together seamlessly.
“I can also reorganize the strikes based on the combat situation,” Liu Feng thought as he began swinging the Kumo according to the strikes without any order.
With the eight ethereal strikes at peak stage, the cloak of the night at the middle stage, and his cultivation at Qi condensation 4 he was fully prepared to rescue Lei Jun’s sister.
It was now 3pm, Bai Hu said that they would give Lei Jun until 12am today till they sell off his sister. “I need to safe her Lei Jun protected me in school and his mother always gave me food to eat while his dad would always give me pocket money when he gave Lei Jun also, his sister Lei Min would always help both me and Lei Jun with our homework and would teach us late till the night when we had exams coming up. His family is my family and I would do everything I can to save her.” Liu Feng made a vow to himself and jumped out his window and sneaked his way along the roofs towards the marketplace.
Liu Feng reached the market place which was 20 mins from the Bai family’s estate. He looked around at the street vendors and bought a mask for 3 white drams that covered his whole face. It was white without any markings on it just two eyes holes, after that, he walked through an alley and donned the mask, and headed towards the south wing of the Bai’s family estate.
He saw that there were two guards stationed at the sentry point. Liu Feng climbed the sentry tower as quietly as possible without alerting the two guards and since they had a cultivation of Qi gathering 6 they could not detect him. As he was hanging below one of the guards he immediately jumped out and executed the first strike of the eight ethereal strikes on the first guard with 1/4 of his strength knocking him out. He immediately knocked out the second guard before he could even make a sound.

Liu Feng did not one to hurt anybody as he wanted to just rescue Lei Min and get out of this place. He planned to convince Lei Jun to get his family to move to the East Zone of the stronghold where they would start a new life, and Liu Feng planned to follow them.
He climbed down from the sentry tower and headed deeper into the estate knocking out any guards he saw and dragging their unconscious body into the bushes or behind the trees.
Eventually, he came across a dilapidated building which was most probably the prison in the estate. There was a warden with a cultivation of Qi condensation 2 sitting right outside. This cause a problem for Liu Feng as he would not be able to knock him out without a sound, if Liu Feng does engage in combat with the warden everyone in the Bai family’s estate would be alerted immediately and Liu Feng would not be able to fight off all of them and rescue Lei Min at the same time.
“I should go around the back and try to enter from there” Liu Feng decided.
As he circled behind the prison he could not find any entry points from the back, but he did manage to find a drainage line connected to the prison but Liu Feng wanted to keep that as a last option.
“Dammit seems as though I will have to go into the drainage pipe ahhhh f**k” Liu Feng cursed as he opened up the drainage lid.
He slowly climbed inside holding his breath and sliding his way through towards the prison. As he reached the end he unlatched the steel bar and entered the prison. He sighed as a sign of relief as the drainage pipes were connected to the shower room of the guards and not the toilets.
“Thank god I lucked out and did not have to go through the drainage pipes for the toilets,” Liu Feng said under his breath.
He then went into the locker room of the guards, and changed into a Bai family’s estates guard uniform while keeping his clothes in the ring, he had to take his mask off as well. He cautiously left the guard's locker room and calmly walked towards the cells trying not to act suspicious.
“Hey, you! Where are you going?” Someone called out to Liu Feng.
“I am searching for a recently imprisoned girl. I heard she was a beauty.” Liu Feng said as he turned around and saw a fat guard with a dirty grin on his face.
“Ohh you mean that chick called Lei Min, I supposed you are new and you were not informed we all already had our turn I think she might still have some life left you can go ahead and let loose else she is dead and you have to try your luck elsewhere ha ha ha” the fat guard laughed and walked off.
Liu Feng suddenly had a bad feeling and started to run past the cells searching for Lei Min, passing a few guards on the way he could hear them say “Look at the new guy rushing to do the chick before she dies desperate much?”.
Liu Feng felt a pain in his heart expecting the worst outcome for Lei Min, he finally reached a cell with 3 guards coming out.
“Wow b***h really has some stamina for her to be able to last us 3 brothers and she still has a little bit of life left,” The middle guard said as he was zipping his pants and buckling it up.
“Yah I am surprised too. Huh? New guy? You want a turn too?” The guard on the left who was bald said.
“Faster go in before she dies don’t say we did not tell you ha ha ha” The guard on the right with a scar on his face said.
Liu Feng frowned at what they said and his heart was beating faster as he did not want what he was thinking to be true.
As he entered the cell he saw Lei Min on the ground with bruises all over her body. Liu Feng immediately took out a cloth from his ring and covered her body, and knelt down beside her. She had clearly been violated and abused by multiple people for god knows how many times in a month.
“Sister Lei Min” Liu Feng whispered with tears welling up in his eyes.
“Ah…aren’t.. you...Liu Feng…what are you doing here? Don’t tell me you came to rescue..cough cough..me?” Lei Min said with a weak voice as she was clearly hanging on to life by a thread.
“Sister get up your little brother has come to take you back to your family your father and mother and Lei Jun must be anxiously waiting for you.” Liu Feng said as tears started dripping down his eyes.
“Ahh…I don’t think I will make it back…But can you do me a favor and tell them that I love them and will miss them and please…” Lei Min said with a single tear dripped down from her eyes. As those eyes slowly lost its light.
Liu Feng saw that Lei Min had passed as she let out her last breath. The sister who always helped him with his studies, what was he going to tell Lei Jun hows was he going to tell them their daughter had passed.
“What am I going to do now, I won’t be able to face Lei Jun when I told him that I will get his sister back,” Liu Feng said as his lips were shivering and tears were streaming out from his eyes which had lost any sign of hope-filled only with agony and pain.
He closed Lei Min’s eyelids and covered her face with the cloth as well, he then stored her body into the interspatial ring. Sitting on the floor of the prison cell he could not have imagined how this young and innocent girl had to suffer for no reason at all.
How can human beings be so cruel?
That was the only question echoing through his head. This was the first time that Liu Feng had seen someone he knew for so long die in front of him. Thus it affected Liu Feng badly, he has seen people dying but it did not affect him as they were strangers to him. After a while he adjusted his state of mind, staring out into the abyss his eyes were now filled with rage and hatred as Liu Feng said “I will wipe out the Bai Family from the face of the earth.”

Life as a Game, Cool
Soo… Hello? Why am I doing this? Ugh… Anyway, name’s Sethsamm, no last name. Why you ask? Well… it all started with me waking up and having this holographic RPG-like window in front of me. Sounds like one of the many mangas’ I read, funny. So I got this window, then it explains that my life is now a video game. And then shit hits the hay… Starts up a bit slow, also a bit of wish fulfillment. Of course, there will be plot since I have a dislike for stories without plot, conflict, or even MC struggles. I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
