Chapter 34

Laya and I finally made it back which made me feel extreme relief. I hadn't quite felt right ever since that trial, but thinking about seeing everyone again washed away all my worries. We made our way to the palace and rushed in. I was especially eager to see Tessa since it's been a little over 3 months since I left. I wondered how she was after being pregnant this long.

Laya knew that I wanted to see Tessa so she left to meet up with Jenny and her sisters. I quickly changed to my Falon form and made my way to Tessa's room. It was early and the maids informed me that they hadn't finished preparing breakfast so everyone was still asleep.

When I entered the room my eyes immediately found Tessa lying asleep on her bed. I removed most of my clothes and crawled in next to her. She didn't wake up, but she instinctively turned over and cuddled up to me. I ran my fingers through her soft silky hair and smiled while I watched her sleep.

The maids eventually came to get Tessa. She slowly rose up and looked around then she noticed me.

Tessa:"Your back!"

Falon:"Yep."

She gave me a tight hug and that was when I noticed her belly. It wasn't huge, but it had definitely gotten bigger. It wouldn't be too hard to hide if she wanted to.

Falon:"It's time for breakfast so we need to get dressed."

Tessa:"Yes!"

She was beaming with happiness as she put something on. I put the clothes I had just taken off back on and we left the room. I was greeted by everyone at breakfast and we ate while they updated me on recent events. Apparently Jeanette had her crowning ceremony and addressed the people about what direction she planned to take the Dranian Kingdom in.

Falon:"What about Isaac?"

Jeanette:"We received word that he has completed his mission in Uuxur and is now on his way to Nelfarum(Dwarven capitol)."

Falon:"Good, that will make things easier."

Jeanette smiled happily.

Falon:"Are things completed on our end?"

Tessa:"Yes. I finished it yesterday. Did Laya complete her mission while you were in Nesbel?"

Laya:"Of course I did! The king excepted immediately after I explained everything and gave him your letter."

Laya smiled mischievously.

Laya:"I think that elf prince has a little crush on you Tessa. He was very excited when he found out the letter was from you."

I decided to change the subject back to our original topic.

Falon:"I never did ask, but how long was I gone for the trial?"

Laya understood that I wanted to stop that conversation which made her sigh then she answered me.

Laya:"Two days. I told them that it won't be operational until we get back here."

I was given the rest of the information on the tablet pieces by that god before I left Gart. Each piece was given to the leaders of the five races and a trial was created to get each piece. In order to collect all the pieces I will need to visit each races capitol. I wanted to collect all the pieces as fast as possible. I figured out a way to shorten my travel time and help increase trade routes and relations between all the races. I sent Isaac on a mission to create teleport points in the capitols of Uuxur and Nelfarum. Laya set the teleport point up in Nesbel while I was doing my trial.

The teleport point for Gart was the first set up so now there were three completed. Nesbel, Uuxur and Gart would now only take a few minutes to travel to. Isaac was going to set up the one in Nelfarum so I decided to go to Frumond(Beastmen capitol city) for the next tablet piece.

After breakfast I decided to spend some time with Jeanette. She had some paper work that needed completing so I helped her with it while we talked.

Falon:"Is the royal life to your liking?"

She showed a frustrated look.

Jeanette:"There's to much paperwork that I have to do. I miss training all the time."

She had a dejected look as she laid her head down on a stack of papers.

Falon:"You miss training?"

Jeanette popped her head back up and brushed off the paper that stuck to her cheek.

Jeanette:"Yeah! Training was fun! Now I'm stuck inside all day or meeting with representatives. I never get to have any fun."

She once again laid her head down on the stack of papers.

Falon:"If we hurry we can finish all this paperwork and I'll train with you."

Jeanette jumped up with a face full of excitement.

Jeanette:"Really!"

Falon:"Yes."

Jeanette:"Thank you Falon!"

This time I jumped up from my seat and sent papers flying into the air when my hands slammed down onto the desk. I looked straight into Jeanette's eyes.

Falon:"What happened to calling me daddy!"

Jeanette was surprised by my sudden action, but when she heard what I said she turned her head away and puffed out her cheeks.

Jeanette:"I'm not a kid anymore."

Falon:"Is this the rebellious stage! Call me daddy!"

Jeanette:"No!"

She ran out of the room as fast as she could. I stood there for a few minutes before I realized she left me all the paperwork to do alone. I spent the rest of the day doing it while also trying to think of ways to get Jeanette to call me daddy. After doing all that work I knew that Jeanette needed someone to help for now on.

I didn't talk to Jeanette during dinner that night. Tessa later told me that she still calls her mom. The next day I talked to Fraya about helping Jeanette with the paperwork and she agreed to lend a hand. I didn't join them today and instead went to one of the training halls to look for Ruby. I found her almost immediately.

Falon:"Hey Ruby."

Ruby:"Falon? What are you doing here?"

Falon:"I came to talk to you."

Ruby was very obviously nervous and couldn't look me in the eyes.

Ruby:"S-so what did you w-want to talk about."

Falon:"It's about what you told me when I was Willow before I got my memories back."

Ruby:".........."

Falon:"I talked to Tessa about how you feel."

A panicked look showed on Ruby's face.

Ruby:"You told Tessa!"

Falon:"Don't worry she's not angry."

Ruby:"Are you sure."

Falon:"Yes I'm very sure. I was the one who encouraged you to pursue your love and Tessa agreed to me accepting it."

Ruby's face showed confusion.

Falon:"After the baby is born I've decided to have a wedding. Tessa told me I needed to clarify my relationships with everyone to prepare for who all will be apart of it. Would you like to become my wife?"

I could tell Ruby didn't know what to say so I decided to give her some time to think about it. I placed my hand on her shoulder.

Falon:"You don't need to answer right now so I'll leave."

Ruby remained in the same spot while I left. Besides Ruby I had only talked to Tessa and Laya about the wedding so far. I felt a rush of relief after getting away from Ruby. All the tension in my body was released at once and I had to sit down then I realized I had been extremely nervous during my talk with Ruby. I laughed at myself for being able to complete trials that would allow me to ascend to god hood, but my knees still locked up after a single talk with someone.

Falon:"I guess I'm weak when it comes to women."

I sighed and pulled myself up.

Falon:"Now it's time to start operation 'Make Jeanette Call Me Daddy'."

I've decided to end this story after the god arc. If you'd like you can read my other story Alphas & Omegas. I plan to have all the girls become his lovers, but I'm not sure about Jeanette and his two sisters. I would like for you to comment and tell me to either add them or not. I will do whatever the first person tells me. I will also add a new character that I want to be completely created by someone else.
