《Romance of the Three Beasts》11.2 - Wolf Fang Fist

Wolf leapt towards his opponent, a man of the Hei clan and the presumed leader of the small group. Wolf slashed at him, but his Wolf Fang barely struck, ineffective against the man’s spear. Wolf opened his mouth to speak once more.
“The-” However, he was cut off by a spear thrusting towards him. ‘He doesn’t wish to speak…’ He thought for a moment, skidding away from the man, kicking up dust as he then shot forward. His leg trembled against the spear as his Wolf Claw met the spear once more, clashing again before he was pushed back.
Wolf glanced back for a moment to see Dragon had finally managed to stand. However, the Hei leader was still in a form to be a threat to the pair, fury within his eyes. ‘With Dragon and Tiger as they are…’ Wolf sighed. ‘The responsibility lies with me…’ Wolf motioned with his fist towards Dragon. Dragon nodded and then stumbled back and left Wolf with their foe.
Wolf stood alone against the man with the spear, both of his hands raised up in front of him, slightly crouched with his left foot slid back. “I shall be your opponent.”
The man with the spear had taken that moment to strike forward once more, a massive wave of Ro flowing out of his spear. Wolf met it though, his fist was completely black as ki flowed into it. It was Iron Body, but there was something much more to it than that. The ground underneath them shattered as Wolf passed through the first three gates to challenge this man. He had enough ki to maintain this form for a while, long enough for the pair behind him to handle the five others.
Now that he had broken through the third gate, his senses and abilities had increased by several amounts. He could even hear Dragon’s and Tiger’s breath from behind him. He stepped forward an inch and then became a blur. A flurry of blows engulfed the spearman, yet he did not yield.

‘I won’t be able to beat you.’ Wolf thought. ‘That’s fine.’ He continued his assault, causing the spear man to take a step back away from him. ‘I just need to supress you for n-’ His thought was cut off as he was struck in the side by the back of the spear. He had seen it coming, but he wasn’t able to move in time as he dropped to a knee. Then he watched as the blade struck down towards him. He pulled back, but the blade still met flesh.
The spear cut through the Iron Body like he was paper, but Wolf seized the moment. The spear was swinging back towards the spear man so he could continue the flow of the attack, but with the flow of the spear, Wolf stepped forward. A flash of surprise struck the spear man’s face before Wolf’s fist did.
Wolf Fang Fist was an advanced technique. With an open hand, one would grab at the opponent. Then a large blast of ki would flow out, causing the effects of several slashes to flow out from the centre of his palm like a tornado escaping from within it. Wolf rarely employed the technique due to it’s lethality, the last time he had used it was against the Seventh Lord Brahman in their bout not long ago, but Brahman was tough enough to handle it. No doubt this man was tough enough to handle it too.
The spear man flew backwards, managing to dodge most of the damage, yet his face had been cut in a circular wave that now patterned his face. Even though it was mostly superficial, due to the skin being so thin up there it caused a large flooding of blood to obscure his vision.
Wolf followed up his assault, taking the momentary advantage to deal as much damage as he could. He struck the man in the stomach with another Wolf Fang Fist. The man flew back against a tree and broke through it, though it didn’t cut this time due to the ki that he channelled to harden himself.
‘I’m not done yet.’
Wolf barrelled forward, not letting the Hei leader even breathe for a moment, he needed to do as much as he could before he burnt out.
