Chapter 37
After a little more than a minute, I use all my mana. I use my earth magic when forging just to make sure the iron doesn't fall apart in the smelter... it just hit me, I need a forge. If I had a forge, I would probably be able to make steel! But the shop day is so far away! I'll just have to ignore the possible loss of profit and get to work on these swords myself.
I can probably make a forge out near the house, but it won't be able to be placed in my inventory. With my shovel, I clear some area for the forge to be. With my stats still in place for strong magic, I use Intermediate Earth Magic and the stones from my pile at the mine to create the walls of the forge. I need to leave some holes for air, and I place the 13 torches inside, along with some stones to help hold the heat and some coal.
After about an hour, I have the forge I want. It is big enough to make a sword in, and nothing else. I won't be making anything other than swords, so this s fine. I change my stats to have more on strength, and I get to work.
Before I start with forging iron swords, I tan the hides I have. I have four wolf hides and three hound hides, and that nets me 32 feet of leather and 180 pounds of iron. Quite the haul.
The first sword went well, and I see a small increase in quality. I think it's kinda cheap how swords are called the same things when they are made from the same material, but for some reason, my first sword and knife were low quality.

The rest of the swords went fine. The 37th day comes to a close after 18 hours of smithing swords, and I get 72 done. If I was going to make steel swords or higher quality iron swords, it would probably take me a lot longer. For now, until I can increase my strength and magical abilities, I'll stick to iron swords.
It's the 38th day, and I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to spend the whole day making swords, like I did the previous day, but I don't think I would be able to climb the mountain to get a look at the fight with the dragon.
Fuck it, bomb-ass memes come at a price! Time to scale the mountain!

I get all my crafting stuff and the torches back into my inventory and set off towards the mountain. It will take me about five hours to get back to where I was last night because I placed ropes to help me get back up.
It's the morning of the 38th, and I was able to reach the location I saw the woman at. I killed another hound, and took the whole body into my inventory. I'll skin it when I get back, but right now I want to see some dragon fights, or maybe just a dead dragon.
With multi-shot, I am able to fire three arrows at the same time. I have pretty good aim, and when combined with Fire Magic, I can kill the hounds with only six arrows, fired in two volleys.
As I reach higher in the mountain, the number of hounds increases, and I am intercepted by fortilers too. After three hours past the spot I met the woman at, I had already fought three fortilers and five of the hounds. I still haven't gained any new levels, so I do think that I need to fight new monsters to level up.

As I continue, the snow starts to thin and I stop seeing any creatures.
>You have entered the Fire-Tipped Dragon Realm!
That's nice, but I don't see anything too special. Nothing changed color and no battle music started to play. I'm a little disappointed, but at least I now know that I will be seeing the dragons soon!

Fantasy World
Spencer Underwood has little realistic hope of escaping his paraplegic, bullied, and friendless high school existence. At least until he and three classmates are unrealistically transported to Nibiru, a legendary fantasy world ruled by mythological gods and inhabited by strange races and nightmarish monsters. Spence can walk again, which is good considering he will have to use his online fantasy role-playing game experience to lead the dysfunctional party on the gods’ quest and summon the courage to finally stand up to Trey, his worst bully from school. Success means survival and earning respect and acceptance, especially from Morgan, his attractive but snarky Goth classmate. But Spence discovers Nibiru is more a world of science fiction than fantasy, and they are just unwitting pawns in a deadly scheme of the gods. If completing the quest doesn’t result in their return to Earth, the party may have to do the unthinkable and challenge the gods themselves.
