Chapter 24
I still have over 500 credits, so I think I'll get a new skill. I don't have woodworking, so I'll get that for 300 credits. For 200 remaining credits, I buy the skill Cooking. I don't have to eat for some reason, but sleeping feels good so I will assume that eating does too. 55 Credits left. I don't know what to buy, so I buy a bucket for 50 credits and have 5 left over.
Before the night ends, I cook some hare meat over a fire. There are plenty of sticks in this forest, but they are all damp and cold. Luckily, I can blast them with fire magic to dry them right up. The hare did not taste good, and I almost want to throw the rest away. I know I will use it later in traps, so I keep it anyways.
Overnight, I use the Woodworking skill to craft things from wood. Little things like spoons and knives. I tried, and failed, to make a fork, but I don't really need a fork when I can just eat off the stick like earlier. I wonder how bear meat taste. I can make handles for tools out of wood, which would probably be better than just leather. I should also think about other ways of increasing the quality of my smithed weapons. I will wait until the next shop day before smithing anything else into weapons. For now, I need to complete quests and mine. When I get tired of woodworking, I go to sleep on my bed.
The morning of the 29th day, I set traps and set off towards the far away town. Along the way, I kill seven wolves, but I ignore the bears. I only saw one bear anyway. In the far away town, I will be able to turn in the quest for 600 credits. After that, I'll take the rank B quest and head to the closer town. I move really fast through the trees, but that doesn't stop me from only making it to the far away town the next day.

Really early morning of the 30th day and I am unable to purchase a room. I only have 5 credits, and I need 20 for the room at the tavern. In the meanwhile, I'll just practice magic outside the town. Basic magic costs 10 mana per second to use, and my mana regenerates at a rate of ten mana per minute. There is no water nearby, so I use Earth Magic to make a bowl and then use Fire Magic to melt snow I placed inside the bowl. One thing that kinda sucks about going straight to Intermediate is the lack of fine control. I can't control my Fire Magic like I can my other two, so I might have to buy Basic Fire Magic from the shop next shop day. In any case, from now on, I will start by buying the basic magic skill before any higher rank. There were Advanced magic books in the shop along with Legendary books. Each increase in the skill level doubled the price, so I don't think I will have enough credits to buy them for a while.
When morning came around and the Adventurer's Guild opened, I went inside to try and turn in the quest.
"Oh, you finished it, good for you," The bitchy woman at the desk said, taking the fangs and the tails. "Hold out your hand." I held out my hand, and the woman transferred 600 credits to me.
"Do you keep all the credits for the guild?" I asked her, and she sighed.
"Just for this branch." She replied.
"Then why not take the credits and run? What stops you from doing that if you hate the job so much?" I ask her, but her mood seems to worsen.
"As a condition of the slave contract, I am not allowed to leave the Adventurer's Guild and I may only use the credits for Guild-Approved purposes."

Slaves... I haven't seen or heard about slaves in this world, but I suppose I would be crazy to think there weren't any. Plenty of light novels have slaves in them, why would this video game world be any different? Time to get my harem of slave bitches and explore a labyrinth.
After turning in the quest objectives, I get the rank B quest.
>**Quest**
>Rank: B
>Details: Kill 10 Iron-Back Devil Hounds in the Obsidian Peaks. Retrieve the hide.

Friendship Overload
A capricious master of the past is saved by an unsuspecting girl. When told to pick her reward, she merely asks for his friendship. “If so, then I will be your friend. The best damn friend there ever was!” As such begins the journey of a kind hearted girl and her capricious friend. However, the more they learn about the world, the crueler it seems. Will the girl’s light lift it out of chaos, or will her friend’s hidden darkness bury it completely? What is light and what is darkness anyway? In the end, strength conquers all. (More details below↓ ) For those wanting more clear-cut details about the setting: The story revolves around the adventures of a reincarnated reckless mage with evil tendencies and his prodigious friend who’s trying to be a good person. However, the world they live in is low on resources and overpopulated with several races which hate each other’s guts, overpowered monsters that shouldn’t even exist, and paranoid humans on the verge of destruction. Basically, it’s one giant bloodbath waiting to happen. The MCs need to strengthen themselves, learn and adapt to their surroundings (which become more and more insane with each passing chapter), and eventually, hopefully, do something to stop the madness before the world’s destroyed in warfare.

I was Reborn as the Villainess but I will become a Great Sage
Nova Allandis, formerly known as Suna Lee, remembers her previous life and realizes her current life is as the villainess in a fantasy novel she once read. However, as Suna, she was the laziest person with no motivation, possibly attributed to the fact that she didn't go into a major that was her strongest suit. Now that she has a high affinity towards magic and wishes to go into it, will she be able to change her lazy self for the better, or will she go back to being lazy like the villainess in the novel? Can she become a Great Sage and live life happily this time? Note: This is not a "revenge of the villainess" novel, but rather a "rise to fame" novel. A/N: This is just an experimental novel and criticisms are much appreciated, but I'm extremely defensive of my own work and characters. If you are here to put down a novel, please remember, first of all, you are not paying anything to read this, and second of all, authors are humans too.
