《Stuck in a game world with an OP shop》Chapter 2

Late at night, I wake up to the sound of crunching twigs. Underneath of the branch I am sleeping on are three wolves. Scary fucking wolves. They don't look bigger than normal, but they still have scary gray fur and big scary teeth and probably eat chubby boys like me for breakfast. Good thing I have the bow, and I take it out of the inventory.

Cocking an arrow, I am the bow at the smallest wolf. If I can get any hit at all, I might be able to kill it. Probably not, but maybe. If I miss, the wolf will run into the forest with his little wolf buddies and maybe come back to attack during the day, but if I don't attack they might come to attack during the day anyways. If I attack now, there might only be two coming back tomorrow, but the surviving two might bring their entire pack back with them. If I don't attack, the three might come back by themselves.

I'll wait. I try to go to sleep again, and eventually, the darkness takes over and once again I feel the sweet embrace of sleep.

In the morning, I get to work. I don't have anything to sharpen sticks with, but if I break them at the right angle I can make the splinter in a way that will serve the purpose I need them to. With Trapper skills, I am able to construct the traps needed to trap animals, but I can't make the materials needed for them. I've been using rough substitutes until now, but I'm can see how my methods are not up to par with that which a real trapper would use. My traps have yet to catch anything, as far as I can tell, and I might just be wasting my effort.

At the end of the day, the forest area around me is an absolute death-field. I couldn't even escape my tree without triggering a trap. Okay, maybe it isn't that full, but I've got a lot of traps made.

I wait in the tree without waking up. All around me, the forest is quiet. Nothing moves and nothing makes a sound. Except for three little piggies come to blow this house down... maybe not the right metaphor. Or is it a simile? Whatever, three wolves are coming my way, that's the point.

Boom! Yeah bitch, get caught! I get out my bow and great ready to kill a bitch, and BOOM! Bitch one goes down! A wolf was hit by a trap and got stuck, and my arrow killed it! Fuck you, bitch-ass wolf!

Who da man? Who da mayun? It's me, mutha fucka! I've got to calm down, it was just a wolf. Getting ahold of myself, I search for the other wolves...

Damn, I only got one. It looks like two other traps were set off, but it didn't immobilize any other wolf, and certainly didn't kill them.

In the morning, when I pick up the dead wolf, the first thing I do is take out my arrow. I've only got the of these, so I can't let a single one be lost. I think I can use it again, and I put it in my inventory. With the wolf, I take it and hoist it up onto a branch near where I sleep, but far enough away for the smell to not get to me. It is rather cold around here, so it is not rotting too much, but the blood is everywhere.

I hope nothing big is attracted by the smell.

After setting some more traps, and using the teeth from the dead wolf to make them more efficient, I gather wood. With wood, I can try to build a wall around my little tree, and maybe have a safe place to build other things at. I also need to make a fire eventually, but I'm not too worried about that. I haven't eaten since I've been here, and I don't feel sleepy either. I just sleep whenever I want and I guess I would eat whenever I wanted if I had food.

Now that I think about it, I should have started in the city.
