IDBIRR Chapter 11: The Entrance of a Hero (Kinda).

An intense battle just started. It's a fight between Adventurers versus a room Boss!

Dark Armored Knight: "Uuoorgh..."

Oh yeah, unlike the Lizard Warriors, this guy doesn't speak, he only groans and scream at you. He's somewhat like an Undead.

The DAK (Abbreviation for Dark Armored Knight because I'm too lazy to repeat that name over and over) grabbed it's giant sword, which was covered with it's own Dark Miasma and pointed it towards the sisters.

Alea: "Hmm~ he looks strong enough~♡"

Luna: "Are you sure we can take him on? He looks like he'd be atleast Lvl60 or 70. I'm not that confident with supporting you both from the Rear..."

Alea giggles and prepares her own fighting stance.

Alea: "No worries~ everyone can take their risks inside a dungeon~"

Luna: "Ngg...you two be careful out there, I'll see what I can do from here..."

Lucia: "Hmph! Alright! We're counting on you sis!"

Alea: "Likewiseeee~"

Lucia and Alea walks infront of the DAK and stood just before it's front, the Boss monster resting the tip of it's giant sword below it's feet and holding the hilt of the sword with both hands, standing like a proud knight.

Lucia cracks her knuckles while Alea puts both of her swords infront of her.

Alea & Lucia: "Let's do this!/Ready when you are~"

Just as the battle finally started, the DAK appeared behind Luna.

Luna: "Huh?"

Lucia: "Wha- LUNA!!!"

The giant figure of dark armor swung it's sword with great speed and force.

*CLANG!!!*

Alea: "Fufu~ Naughty boy~ You're quite smart aren't you~?"

Before the DAK's blade hit Luna's body and send half of her body flying, Alea interrupts it's quick attack by following up with a quick reaction.

It's not just her senses are amazing, but her speed is monstrous as well!

She managed to follow the DAK's movement and was able to defend against it's attacks with her smaller swords.

DAK: "...?"

Alea pushes the giant's sword away and immediately counter attacked with a kick straight to it's abdomen, sending it a few meters away.

DAK: "Uuooghh..!"

Alea: "You must be wondering~? How come my thinner blades were able to hold it's ground against your greatsword? Hm~?"

Luna: "T-Thanks sis!"

Alea lowers her stance to the level where she leans her upper body below her lower body and prepared for a dash towards the DAK.

*STEP!*

*DASH!*

Alea: "It's the power of Strengthening!"

With each step she took, the floor beneath her soles cracked. Her speed was way beyond that of a normal human's, taking her only a fraction of a second to close the distance between her and the DAK.

I don't even know what an archer is anymore.

Thrusting her blade forward and towards the DAK's neck, it swiftly dodges her strike and counters with a straight fast punch.

But thanks to her sensitive senses, she responded by placing her palm on top of the DAK's incoming fist and used it's forward momentum to allow her to lift her body away from the fist's trajectory. After successfully dodging away, she used this chance to go along with the forward momentum and tumbled infront of the DAK midair to counter with a leg drop from above.

Wait...her footwear...if I look closely...it's heels are metal?!

*Clang!*

The DAK defended with it's sword before the heel made contact with it's helm. What kinda anime bullshit is this?

Alea: "Oh~? Then how about this~"

Alea, while still midair, attempts a headlock the DAK with her legs. Wrapping her thighs around it's neck. Throwing it off balance and making it fall on it's back.

Alea quickly shifts around it's neck while midfalling and put her hands on the ground behind DAK first, as she uses all the strength on her lower body to lift and bring down the DAK onto the ground. Slamming it's whole body, head-first.

Dust appeared to cloud the scene right after, as Lucia quickly comes over and tries to stab the DAK's chest.

Her body was revealed to be covered with glowing strengthening buffs from Luna.

Luna: "[Strength], [Speed], [Accel Chrono]!! Finish it off!"

Lucia: "On it!"

Lucia didn't think twice to bring her sword down, but she was one step too late.

Alea: "Uh oh~"

Alea quickly unlocks herself from her hold and flips away.

The DAK casts a protective spell that blocks off any incoming attacks, he body becoming covered with an even thicker miasma.

Lucia's blade only bounces off from a failed attempt.

Lucia: "Kuh-!! Didn't think it would end this easily anyways!"

The DAK tries to regain it's stance by kicking Lucia's feet off the ground.

Lucia: "Ugh-!?"

The DAK grabs it's sword and sends Lucia away with the blunt of it's blade.

DAK: "Unngh?!"

It looked down below, only to see his feet sinking down the floor.

Luna: "[Quicksand]! And then [Smite]!"

Above the DAK, magic circles that spewed out lightning hits the room Boss.

Alea: "Your main opponent is me~"

Alea shows up out of nowhere and delivers consecutive punches. Each punch sending tons of damage and bending the DAK's armor little by little.

The DAK goes for a large swing, but only gets avoided by Alea jumping above it's steel.

As Alea was midair, just below her as she jumped upwards, revealed Lucia coming in with a drop kick and landing it on to the DAK's Helm and Face.

Lucia: "This was for earlier!"

Wha- That was awesome!

Alea lands back on her feet and grabs Lucia's hands as she was still mid air and sending a drop kick on the DAK's face.

Alea: "And aroooound we gooo~"

Alea swings Lucia around and throws her back towards the DAK, giving it another dropkick and pushing it out of the quicksand.

Alea: "My Archery skills are still flourished~"

You used your own sister as your own bullet?! And that wasn't even ranged, you were literally infront of the thing!

DAK: "Unng-guhh!!"

Behind the intense fight, Luna was preparing for a big attack.

Luna: "Fire...fire...fire..."

Lucia grabs the DAK's leg, with the help of Luna's active buffs and throws the giant guy towards Alea.

Alea: "Hmph!"

Alea uses a skill that allowed her to instantly deal multiple attacks of slashes and punches. Wow, she doesn't actually say her skills out loud.

Luna: "Cover this world on fire...embrace it with your fiery wings..."

DAK: "UuuUuUuooOoggGGhHhhhH!!!"

Alea: "Oh~?"

DAK flips around and finally regains his stance. Jumping towards Alea while grabbing his huge sword, spun his whole body around vertically like a massive saw!

Alea: "!!!"

What a fearsome move! When I fought it before, it was wasn't even capable of that! It's an improved DAK-san!

Alea with her fast reaction, flips away in order to dodge.

Alea: "That was close~!"

DAK's sword got planted on the floor after missing, but as a quick follow up that even took Alea by surprise---

Alea: "Wha-"

DAK jumped above his sword, not letting go of the hilt, and allowing the momentum of his fall towards Alea, to effectively pull the sword out of the ground and swinging it so fast towards the enemy infront of him.

Alea: (Too fast--)

She quickly raised both swords and poured all of her magic to defend against it's most heaviest attack.

Alea: "!?!"

DAK: "OoOoOOoAaaaAaArrrrRR!!!"

The blow was too heavy for her--- no-- the floor to handle! Both of her feet sunk below the smashed floor from the overwhelming force she took in!

Alea: "O-Oh my~ Looks like I'm in the same situation as you from before~"

Are you sure you're even an archer?! Are you sure you're not a [Knight] or a [Warrior]?!

Luna: "O' bird of flames--- Burn thy Heathen--- Embrace them with your scorching embrace! [Phoenix Burst!]"

Luna creates a fiery phoenix with her spell, sending it away and aiming it at DAK.

Alea: "Time's Up~☆"

DAK: "UWoOoOOhh--?"

DAK got sent flying over towards a wall, receiving tons of burst and burn damage.

Lucia came rushing in to help Alea out.

Lucia: "Big Sis! I'll help you out! That guy ain't done yet!"

Alea: "Yes~ Yes~ Thanks for helping out~"

Luna catches her breath and drinks a Mana Potion.

Luna: "Phew--- I'm all ready to go for more!"

Lucia and Alea gives a thumbs up, as both of them chugs down a bottle of Health Potions themselves and a small bottle of Mana Potion.

Among the dusts and rubble that burried my guy DAK, it bursts into flames as he reawakens into his [Berserked] form.

He is now known as Berserked Armor Knight! or BAK for short. What? Can't deal with my naming sense? Well, too bad bud.

Alea: "..."

Alea stares at her two broken swords, it didn't manage to survive DAK's attack from earlier.

Lucia: "Man...you said you liked those swords didn't you?"

They were finally done preparing. Both parties from both sides are ready for another round.

Alea: "Oh well~ I can always look for another~"

My eyes widen from surprise when Alea reached for the hilt of the unknown blade behind her back and open her eyes to reveal a sinister face that merrily grinned at her enemy.

BAK: "UUUUUOOOOOOOGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!"

Luna started to cast her spells.

While Lucia took a step forward, showing her blade that was ready to end this bout.

Lucia: "Dammit...I feel like I didn't do much at all...and now he's even stronger than before."

Alea stands beside her, taking a step forward as well. In her hand, revealing a sinister sakura katana.

Alea: "Do you want to take the lead~? You can take on the assault while I cover for you~ It'll just be like our training~"

Lucia: "Brrr...just remembering our training gives me the chills, but...okay, I'll take him on."

Alea: "Oh~? But you're not as strong as your Big Sis, can you even keep uuuup I wondeeer~?"

Lucia: "Pff-"

BAK appears before them, stronger, faster and even tougher. His once Black armor turned to Red, and his Dark Miasma was now covered with angry flames that burned every pillar he came across while dashing towards the two of them.

It swung it's blade with inhumane speeds and---

*CLANG!!!*

Got deflected by Lucia's parry!!!

Lucia: "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO KEEP UP LEA!!!"

BAK: "gHaHH--?!"

Alea smiles and quickly runs around BAK.

Alea: "Right back at ya!"

*Swing!*

Alea's katana cut through BAK's thick defense and manage to cut him.

Her eyes glow bright as she next aimed for the joints of it's leg with monstrous precision.

BAK: "OOOHWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

BAK fell to it's back once more and then suddenly, roots came out of the floor and wrapped itself around it's limbs. Preventing BAK from escaping.

It was Luna!

Luna: "[Flame Barrage]!"

A sudden number of fireballs went flying towards BAK. Dealing damage to it's armor per second.

Behind Luna were all the Magic Circles she casted to create the skill she had prepared. She grabs a Mana Potion and straight up drink it to it's last drop, while casually walking sideways to find a better position to send barraged attacks as the Magic Circles follow after her.

Damn she got finesse.

After the barrage stopped and smoke covered BAK. The smoke was cleared away to reveal Lucia rushing towards a held down BAK.

Lucia: "ORAAA!!!"

Lucia went for the head, but BAK moved his head out of the way in order to dodge a fatal attack.

His right arm breaks free from the roots and grabs a hold of her armor.

Lucia: "!!!"

BAK still has some fight left in him and refused to give up.

His other arm broke free and stabbed Lucia!

Lucia: "!!!"

Alea: "Wh-"

Luna: "How-!?"

How did she do that?!

It was a feint! She didn't get stabbed!

Lucia: "Teehee~♡ Guess I'm lucky afterall! Sorry big guy♡"

Just before she got stabbed through her chest, she quickly ripped her leather armor by cutting it with her sword and backed away just in time when the sword was about to stab her. Spinning around in the process while lifting her left leg up and holding BAK's sword in place in between her leg's bicep.

Damn that's hot.

BAK tried to pull his sword away, but her hold was very strong.

Lucia: "Thanks for this arm~"

She swings her sword and cut BAK's hand.

BAK: "AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Nice! That was hella freakin' awesome!

BAK grabbed his sword midair and slashed at his opponent, making Lucia back off.

Above him, Alea appears with her Katana ready to stab his head.

He quickly rolls away and Alea only managed to stab the ground where BAK was once before.

Alea: "Tch."

She clicks her tounge and gives pursuit. Behind her was Lucia, quickly following to assist her assault.

BAK: "GRRR...!!!"

Just when they were about to cut BAK, he jumps up and vanishes into thin air.

Lucia: "Wha-"

Just below their feet, a fiery X-mark appeared.

Alea: "Above!"

BAK reappears just a few feet above them. There was no escape---

Luna: "Phew--- Not on my watch."

Luna shoots both her sisters away with a magic blast to their shoulder.

Alea: "Guh-! Thanks-!"

Luna gives a thumbs up as a sign of her apology.

BAK hits the floor instead and a pillar of flame that looked like an X appeared.

Alea: "Lucia! Start running~!"

Lucia: "Alright!"

BAK continued to do the same attack three more times, following them until he stopped at the fourth attack to focus his aim on Lucia.

Lucia: "Woah-!"

Covered in bruises and slight burns, Lucia struggles to dodge BAK's attack.

He swung his sword around in hopes to land it on Lucia's body.

Moving towards the left and right, jumping and ducking below, Lucia somehow manages to dodge his attacks.

Lucia: "Hoo-!"

Lucia: "Haa-!"

Lucia: "Fuu-!"

*CLANG!*

*CLANG!*

*CLANG!*

Each swing he took, the faster his attacks become. Making it harder and harder for Lucia to dodge, some of it's attacks even grazing her skin.

Lucia: "Huff-- Huff--- Just a little bit more...endure it...!"

Unbeknownst to BAK, Alea approached from behind. Jumping above it's head and headlocking it once again just like before.

Alea: "Say goodbye to your eye as well~"

*STAB!*

BAK: "OOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

Alea: "An eye for an eye!"

*Step!*

Lucia appears before BAK as it screams in pain, winding her sword from behind her.

Lucia: "A tooth for another!"

She slashes it's revealed abdomen and blood splatters everywhere. Alea jumps off from it's shoulders and returned her blade to it's scabbard behind her back.

To finally finish it in one go, a stone pillar appears from below BAK's feet and launches him into the air.

BAK: "GHa-Hack--!!"

Below him, Alea and Lucia prepares for their skills. Lucia putting her sword up to her waist as if it was inside a scabbard, and Alea preparing for her own stance.

Lucia & Alea: "..."

Before BAK was sent down to fall by the course of gravity doing it's thing, up above, where he was sent flying; were a couple of magic circles that were waiting to blast him to smithereens.

Luna: "[Ex-]"

Lifting her magical book up above, Luna calls the name of her most powerful spell.

Luna: "[PLOSION]!!!"

BAK was blown by an attack that was silimar to several bombs being thrown at him.

Luna collapses and struggles to put up a thumbs up.

Luna: "Mana....exhaustion...no more...potions...leave it...to you guys..."

BAK almost on the brink of death (still alive), slowly falls towards the two sibling below.

When he reached their attack range, both of them unsheathed their swords and delivered a quick draw attack.

Lucia & Alea: "[Sakura arts no.9: Dance, Purgatory Blade]!!!/[Quick Draw Technique: Mortal Reminder]!!!"

The fight was finally decided by a cross combination of two slashes. Ending BAK's life.

*Thud!*

*Thud!*

Both of them collapsed from exhaustion.

That. was. EPIC. 10/10!!!

I didn't even knew I came out of the wall I was hiding in and laid on my back to enjoy the show, while snacking on some pebbles beside me. Mmm~ Chicken flavor~

Alea rolled over to lay her back towards the floor.

Alea: "Oh noes~ We're completely defenseleeess~ I hope nothing ever happens to us while we're sprawled over the flooor~"

Lucia: "H-Huh? Who are you talking to Lea? Sis?"

Alea: "Fufu~ I wonder~"

Alea looks at me, deciding that I was completely harmless to them based on her intuition about me.

[[Are you going to save them? They did entertain us quite well.]]

Yep, It's been a while since I've seen something so amazing. Their teamwork was top notch, and their combat prowess were excellent! I could hope for nothing else, helping them survive this Labyrinth will be little compared to how much astounding a show they've given me.

Huh?

Wait WHAT?!

BAK's corpse came back to life and stood in front of the two exhausted girls.

BAK: "UuUUuoOOOoOooOhhhHhhH!!!"

No way...did it...gain a survival skill?!

[[I have analyzed the opponent's stats.]]

[[It seems to have captured the concept of reviving after it's multiple deaths against us throughout the month.]]

Ugh, so it's my fault again huh?

Lucia stares with fright, as the once dead Room Boss was brought back to life.

Lucia: "Ah crap-"

BAK swings his sword down to kill Lucia.

*BANG!*

But I immediately launched myself and kicked BAK's sword away.

No one dares to harm people on my watch!

We meet again Dark Armored Knight! Or should I say--- Berserked Armored Knight!!!

When it realized who I was, BAK roared with intense frustration fury.

BAK: "G----GggGgOooOooOOOooLllLlLeEEeeEEeEeEeEEeeeEeEEeEmMMMmmMmMmmMMm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It's showtime baby---!!! The hero has arrived!
