IDBIRR Chapter 10: Adventurers and LOTS of Information.
Humans?
No way, I actually met some. For a whole month, none of them even tried to enter this Labyrinth. But now there's three of them!
All three of them were women, all of which wore peculiar and interesting clothes.
The first one:
???: "Heeh~ It sure is quieeet around heeeere~"
A kunoichi looking girl with white long hair strapped with three large beads on both ends that resembled a pigtail, wears some sort of a ninja garment for her top and a short skirt with black leggings for her lower dress. Strapped on her thighs were deadly knives and small kunais. Behind her back was a sheathed blade, somehow, it had a very ominous presence to it. Since the other two girls didn't took notice of it, maybe it was just me and my cautious nature. Also, on the back of her waist were two short swords.
She looked like the easy-going type of person and her...eyes are always closed? How could she even see???
She also seemed to be the eldest among the two companions she has.
The second one:
???: "Hmm. It is quite in fact, very quiet. I heard from the locals that this Labyrinth was famous for it's reputation of killing a lot of adventurers and that the Labyrinth Boss has never been found yet. Some even say that they found a very strange Werewolf that only runs away or observes you from behind the shadows."
The second one donned a Mage-like Green Garb and also has a Bob Cut Apple Green Hair. If you ask me, she literally looked like a Green Apple. She also wore glasses, making her look like a intelligent character. On her back, she carried a leather backpack that contained some herbs and potions.
Her main weapon in hand was a book...a spellbook?
I thought all mages preferred Magic Staffs or Wands (Harry Potter)? I guess I was wrong. This girl must be acting as their Rear support.
And lastly, the third Girl:
Proudly marching infront of both girls, was a Warrior with a shoulder length hair of Pink Blush. Her equipments are as follows: an Iron Gauntlet on her Left Hand, a Leather one on her right Hand, A light Iron Chestplate and a leather mail for her body's overall defense, under her armor was a pink hoodie. She also wears black tight pants, accompanied by light steel greaves that reached up to her knees.
She seemed like the youngest among them.
Her weapon of choice is obviously a classic double edged sword.....looks tasty, I mean- truly a mark of classic fantasy tropes.
All three of them entered this Labyrinth with proper gear.
I didn't feel like taking a peek of their Info, since it felt like I was about to do something I morally shouldn't. Who knows? What if their three sizes are included?
What? I'm a monster now, yes, but I still have my proper morals.
And they're kids--- teenagers, I ain't interested in that kinda stuff. I'm already too old for weird fantasies. *Age: 123 y/o*
Phasing through the wall beside them, I subconsciously followed them, listening to their conversation. Maybe I was curious to listen about life outside the Labyrinth. I just wanted to know how free they are in the outside world.
??? (Youngest): "So like--- I decided to help the grandma collect the herbs, and then a monster showed up right after my first pick! So after I beat it, I got double the rewards from the grandma's request! Here's how much I got Alea!"
Alea (Eldest): "Oooh~ How wonderful my dear little sister~ Look at this Lunaaa~"
Luna (Middle): "Oho~ You got an extra ten silver coins for your reward. How generous of the guild to give a slouchy kid like you some extra pocket money. Don't let that small achievement get the better of you, Lucia~"
Lucia (Youngest): "I-It won't! and I'm not lazy either! It's called time management!~"
I don't think that's how it goes...
Well, like how she said it, I guess I'll follow them for now. I haven't been entertained like this for a century now, I've got all the time in the world until Big Boss starts hunting me. I'll stick to these girls for now and watch over their adventures.
Although it is creepy to do that...
Alea: "..."
Hm? Just now, did she just glance over at my direction? Bright Purple eyes...it looked very pretty.
Luna: "Hm? What's up Lea? Something caught your eye?"
Alea: "Hm~ Hm~ Maaaybe~? I just thought some creep was looking at uuus~ How cute~♡"
Indeed she knows I'm here alright. A ninja really is a ninja!
Maybe I should just mind my own business---
Goblins: "Kree---! Keaak--!?"
Hm? A group of goblins?
It looks like their first encounter are goblins. Ooh--! This would be awesome! A fight of Humans vs Monsters!
I quickly found a good spot in a wall to enjoy the show. I wonder how humans fight! I'm so excited to see what that ninja girl can do!
Alea: "Eeeh~ Goblins~? How bothersome~ I leave it to you girls! FIGHT ON!!!"
She suddenly exclaimed with great energy. Suddenly a quick change in character.
Luna: "Sigh...alright, you're the boss, Boss Lady. Just sit over there and enjoy the show--- I'm counting on you Lucia! Me and your Big Sis are cheering for you!!!"
Is this some sort of bullying?
Lucia: "Eh?! Why am I gonna do this alone?!"
Luna: "Didn't you say you wanted to teach Luke some proper manners? Lea and I aren't really interested about that~ Go now, enjoy yourself Lil' Sis~ We'll help you out if you start to struggle over some goblins!"
Luna said, a few distance away Lucia. Hm, this must be some sort of fantasy bullying?
Poor Lucia, I'm cheering for you as well!
Alea: "Goodluck Lucy~"
Luna: "Do your best Lucia!"
Hahaha! Best of luck to you pink head girl!
Lucia: "Y-You guys are horrible..."
Lucia: "!!"
Just as Lucia was dissapointedly staring at her sisters, she sensed a killing intent just behind her.
In the nick of time, she turned towards her opponent just in time as a goblin was about to lunge towards her with a wooden club.
She quickly dodges away, the Club almost grazing her nose.
Luna: "Oho~ It looks like you've gotten quicker with your footwork Lucia. Is it thanks to Lea's training I wonder?"
Lucia draws her sword, preparing for a fight with a fighting stance.
Lucia: "Y-Yes...Big Sis trains me daily--- Phew, that was close. You guys better treat me for steak later!"
Luna: "Hehe, of course~ Go gettem Tiger!"
Lucia: "Hm!"
And so it began.
Goblin: "Kee--!!"
Lucia made the first move by swiftly stabbing the Goblin's neck. She was fast enough for the goblin to react slowly. Before her enemy even knew what had happened, it was already too late.
Goblins: "Keek--?!"
There were seven goblins in total, including the one she killed first. What remained was only that of six from the previous seven.
Lucia: "Come and get some!"

Goblin #2: "Kiiyaah!!"
Another Goblin tried to take the initiative by attacking from her blindspot, it was a smart move, but it's screaming only gave it away.
Just as how it was before, Lucia reacts accordingly and dealt a counter attack by punching the goblin in it's face. Her fist caving in it's skull.
Lucia: "What kind of idiot gives away their sneak attack by shouting?!"
Ho~ She's smart alright.
Goblin #2: "Gofuhh--!!"
The goblin died in one hit. It's entire body shattering into a million light fragments in the air.
Alea: "Fufu~ For someone who did the same thing not too long ago--- sure is cute~"
Luna: "Hehe, shh-- If you say that out loud, she might get embarrassed and lose focus."
Ah...so that's how it is...
Going back to Lucia, three of the Goblins surrounded her, while the other two looked for a chance to strike at he blindspot once again. This time, they became even more cautious after seeing Lucia's talent in fighting.
Alea: "Oooh~? That's strange~"
Luna: "What is it Lea?"
Alea points at the goblin's formation, it struck her interest once the battle became serious.
Alea: "Goblins...are not capable of battle formations."
Once more, Alea reveals her eyes to observe the situation. It glew a beautiful, vibrant color of purple. Her lax demeanor became solemn very quickly.
Luna: (That's the second time I've seen her open her eyes for once in a while...the last time she ever opened them...was way long before, when were kids...)
Luna: "Is it really surprising to see goblins taking up battle formations? Isn't that a normal thing for battles when everyone's lives are on the line?"
After asking that question to her big sister, Alea eased up and her relaxing smile returned. Closing her eyes in the process.
Luna: (Aww...she closed her eyes again.) ...
Alea: "Fufufu~ You're so cute Lunaaa~ Since you only spend much of your time researching about magic, you don't get to experience real time battles outside the world. But don't worryyy~ it's my obligation as your Big Sis to fill you in on something you're not quite knowledgeable about~"
Luna: "Hehe...only the both of you get to go on adventures quite frequently anyways, so it's great that you're teaching me the ways of an adventurer now that I've decided to join the both of you on your outings. Thanks a lot Big Sis, don't hold back on the info~"
Alea: "Oh my~ How cute~ Well then..."
Hm, hm! As a Big Brother myself in my previous life, it was my duty to take care of my three little siblings as they grew up, so I understand what she means! Helping your siblings out is a mandatory task!
Although, since this is a valuable information from the outside world...don't mind me listening in as well~!
*Clash!!*
*Clang!*
The Goblins started their new approach for an attack, but Lucia quickly responds in quick succession.
Alea: "This is basic knowledge when starting as an Adventurer--- And it's about learning about your enemies."
*Crash---*
Lucia drives her blade inside a goblin's chest after finding an opening from their formation, hitting the end of her sword through a wall.
Alea: "Goblins are the most standard beginner mobs on the battlefield of Adventurers. Their intelligence are only that of a child's level. They are quite the little devils of the roots of the Monster Encyclopedia and are thus dubbed as the "Green embers of Hell"."
Twirling around just before a spear stabbed through Lucia's back, she quickly grabs the dagger of the Goblin she just killed through the wall and stabbed it right through the other Goblin's temple, successfully killing two goblins in an instance.
*Splat!*
Alea: "Rape, Murder, Pillaging, Enslavement and Gruesome Sexual Behavior are a Goblins' behavioral traits. They are quite a menace once you get to learn more about them. They are said to be spawns of evil from whence they came from---"
Lucia kicks her sword away from being stuck through the wall, tumbling away just before small knives induced with poison was thrown at her direction.
Lucia: "Ugh! That was close!"
Alea: "You're doing Great Lucia~!"
Luna: "Just hang in there~ We believe in you~!"
Lucia: "HELP ME DAMMIT!"
Seriously, help her out. Your other Sister's struggling for her life over there.
Alea: "Now where was I--- Ah yeees~ While Goblins don't have any proper intelligence, they are all not entirely that dumb. With each battle they survive, they become even more experienced and adaptive in a battle against Adventurers. Although their growth progress would be minimal as they only maintain a strict level of intelligence as a child, they can still hope for a future of proper improvement on the battlefield."
Luna: "Hmm...then, are you implying that the Goblins that Lucia is currently fighting...has already gone through so many battles and improved to a point where they could sufficiently manage a battle formation?!"
Alea: "Mmhmm~ Indeed you're correct~☆"
Woah...what an interesting information. I never knew monsters were capable of that much growth process in order to become strong...
But...something about what she said bugs me...If what she said is true...I don't understand how these goblins...managed to advance that quickly.
I mean...they just "recently" spawned in.
Alea: "Althoooough~ You're quite wrong as well~"
Luna: "H-Huh? What do you mean by that?"
*Stomp!* *Stomp!* *Stomp!*
Lucia quickly charges towards a Goblin Archer, fending off it's arrows with her sword. Delivering a drop kick once she arrived at it's position.
Goblin: "Kiiyahk--!?"
She quickly regains her posture and drove her sword's edge through it's neck and severing it's head away from it's body.
Alea: "Those Goblins only recently spawned in."
Wha-- How did she--
Alea turned over my way and gave me a creepy smile, sending daggers through her glare.
I quickly looked away and whistled, feigning innocence as I was proven guilty of charge.
Falala Lala~ I-It wasn't me~ N-Ope! Aha- ahaha...!
Alea: "Fufu~ You're cute enough, so I'll let it pass this time~"
Luna: (H-Huh? Who is she talking to? *Looks over* A wall???)
Jeezus, I feel totally exposed!
[[Do not worry Angus, every pervert gets exposed one way or another.]]
WHO'RE YOU CALLING A PERVERT?!
Luna: "Can you...uhh, explain what you mean by that...?"
*Thud*
*Splat!*
Lucia finishes her bout by decisively giving a large swing against both of the remaining two goblins who became paralized with fear from her overwhelming strength.
Goblins: "Eeekraagh---!!!"
Swinging her sword for the last time to smear off the blood from her sword, she sighs and her body relaxed after wiping out the goblin group by herself.
Lucia: "Phew~ I guess that works for a warm up..."
She shortly takes off her armor for a breather.
Cracking her knuckles and stretching her body, flexing out the results of her well-trained and well-toned body as her fine muscles show through her thin layers of clothing.
Lucia: "HNggg~♡ Nothing beats fine stretching right after a warm up! Now I'm pumped for our grinding!"
She immediately re-equipped her armor after a short break and reunited with her sisters' group.
Alea: "Ah~ Nice work out there~ High fiiiiive~♡"
Lucia: "Heh! That was easy for a quick warm-up! It's all thanks to your training Big Sis!"
Alea: "Put er' up pal! Ey ey OH~!"
Lucia: "Ey ey OH~!"
The both of them shared a high five as Luna giggles over their carefree energy.
What an easy-going bunch. I enjoy their lax nature as lovely siblings who get along very fine. They really remind of my family back at earth...
Alea: "As a reeeeward~ I'll give you a pat~"
The loving Big Sister pats Lucia's head.
Lucia: "I mean...I'm not a child anymore...but ok."
Lucia blushes as she receives her reward. Smiling like child who got candy from it's parents.
Alea: "Well then~ Let's continue our conversation from before~ I assume you were listening as well Lucy~?"
The little sister nods as they proceed towards the next room.
I naturally followed their group because it was interesting to have their company. For a century of isolation, just this amount of socializing (If you would call it that) is already enough for me.
Alea: "As for your question Luna...you would like to know how I knew about the goblins' recent spawn, correct?"
Ah yes, she did ask about that earlier.
Luna: "Yes. I'm also interested about how they managed to formulate a strategy to fight against enemies despite just being spawned recently. Didn't you say they needed to accumulate some battle experience first?"
Lucia: "Ah, that actually got me surprised as well. I wasn't expecting them to use strategies to fight against me. Usually, the goblins I hunt only tend to rush forward without thinking. Like an innocent kid who's fresh from battles."
Alea: "Fufu~ Well~ To answer Luna's first question, first. I'm sure both of you already know about my [Class], yes~?"
Luna bumps her fist to her palm, remembering her Sister's [Class].
[Class]? What's that?? Is it akin to an RPG's other term for [Job] titles?
[[Indeed Angus. A [Job]--- or in this world's term, a [Class] is an individual's affiliation for their natural talents.]]
Luna: "A [Class] is what decides your fate for growth. It's something similar to achieving a [Title]."
[[A [Class] indicates what your primary talent specializes in. In some cases, if one has a talent for Magic, they will attain the class of [Apprentice Mage]---]]
Alea: "If one specializes in-- what say, a bit of swordplay~ They will be classed as a [Novice Swordsman]~"
Ohh! I see, it is just like how I knew it would be. It basically defines what you specialize in as an Adventurer, just like how they explained it.
Lucia: "Huh. Now that I think about it, I did get the [Amateur Swordsman] class. The advanced class of a [Novice Swordsman] when I signed up as an Adventurer...but why? shouldn't I start off with [Novice Swordsman]?"
Alea giggles at her remark.
Alea: "That's because I properly trained you with your own way for the "Sword". The guild isn't the one who gets to decide your worth in your [Class], but a special device that measures your own talents for your class, called the "Observer"."
An Observer? First I've heard of this, a device from the outside world...
Alea: "I'm sure both of you are interested in what the "Observer" is, so I'll do a pop quiz~ tell me what an "Observer" is~"
Luna: "Hmm...based on it's name-- does it observe your soul and analyze your talent's worth?"
Alea: "Ding! Ding! Ding! Correct, my little genius~ Here's a cookieee~♡"
Alea takes out a small pouch, containing cookies. Giving one to Luna.
Luna: (Where did she even find the time to buy cookies while we were headed to this Labyrinth??)
Alea: "An Observer accurately measures your talent's worth, how you'll fare in the future, and how much talent you innately possess. It can also give you an accurate data for your Innate Growth."
Innate Growth? Is she talking about the status window?
Alea: "Take note, a person's Innate Growth can't be seen by others and will only be visible to you, be it human or monster. Because it's a veeeery~ important private information. Revealing it to anyone, even to your close friends can be dangerous~ who knows when they'll backstab you in the process so keep that in mind~"
*Gulp*
Luna: *Gulp*
Lucia: *Gulp*
A long and awkward silence swallowed the atmosphere. Alea's grim reminder only sent shivers through our bodies *I'm acting like I can*.
Lucia: "W-Well, I think it's fine even if we reveal our Innate Growth to ourselves right? We're family anyways! Hahaha!"
Alea: "..."
Lucia: "R-Right Lea? Sis?"
Alea: "..."
Lucia: "RIGHT???"
Alea: "Pfft! Of course~! Why would I even stab my family out of nowhere~"
Lucia & Luna: (Phew...)
Alea: "..."
Lucia & Luna: "STOP THAT!"
Alea: "Pff- Hahahahahahaha~! Alright~ Alright~ I was just messing with you guys anyways~"
Freakin' hell, this was even more suspenseful then all the horror genres I've watched before.
But if what she said is true as well...how come I'm able to see everyone's status window whenever I please?
A strange world we live in 'innit?
Alea: "Now, where was I again? Ah, that's right~"
We finally arrived towards the next room. This time, it was full of Lizard Warriors, with a Lvl range of Lvl20-40 Lizard Warriors.
There were probably atleast 50 or more Warriors inside this room.
Oh no, I remember this room, this one actually gave me a hard time when I first entered it confidently because of my skills. This room was also an exponential karma for me to quickly experience dangerous situational battles and survive. You could call it my training room when I was out exploring the entirety of the Labyrinth for the past month I've been grinding over here.
If you're curious, why would I even struggle over something so trivial when I have OP skills? Well, to answer your question---
This room cancels all skills while you're inside.
Lizard Warrior: "Hm? Humans? Three of them? Uggh, atleast it isn't that sadistic Golem who comes over daily...I'm so tired of that little runt."
Hey!
Luna: "Hm? A golem? What does he mean?"
Alea: "Hm~ Hm~ What perfect timing~"
Alea draws both of her two swords behind her waist.
Lizard Warrior: "Tch, let's just get this over with Little Girl. If you're here to kill us, don't expect us to give in so easily!"
Alea: "Now here's another Pop Quiz~ What [Class] do I have? Hmm~?"
Huh? Isn't it obvious? A [Ninja] class right?
Lucia: "Oh-! I know! You're obviously an [Assassin]!"
Luna: "Isn't it obvious? You're obviously a [Advanced Assassin]."
I mean, it's pretty obvious, wearing that ninja clothing you have.
Alea: "Ehhng! Wrong~!"
WHAT?!
Alea: "My class is [Archer]!"
Luna & Lucia: "WHAT?!"
DOUBLE WHAT?!
Alea: "Now catch these hands! It's rated E for Everyone!"
The "Archer" charged in, throwing her daggers through two Lizard Warriors' necks.
Lizard Warriors: "Ughh-!?"
She immediately closed the gap between the two Warriors as both swords pierced through their necks.
She hopped to reach their level of height and punched both ends of the swords deep through their throats, securing a sure-kill approach.
Lizard Warrior: "Be careful men! She's an [Archer]!"
Lizard Warrior #2: "She's an expert in melee combat! Pressure her with Ranged Attacks, Lizard Archers! Don't let her use her [Archer] skills!"
A chaotic battle ensued, a scene where a Ninja looking Archer was punching the hell out of Lizard Warriors to their deaths.
Only I, Luna and Lucia watched with great shock towards the fact that she has the [Archer] class, instead of a Ninja's.
Luna: "D-Did you know? The fact that you were being trained with swordsmanship by an Archer?"
Lucia shakes her head.
Me, Lucia & Luna: (||| = _ =)
.
.
.
Alea: "Phew~ How was my Archery?"
The aftermath of her battle ended with the Lizardmen's defeat with bloody broken bodies everywhere as they fade out as light particles.
It was a one-sided massacre, her great skill and experience in fighting easily defeated all the opponents she faced. You could tell she's experienced with countless of battles before.
She presented extreme dominance and overwhelming force. It was the opposite figure of her actual carefree and soft outward appearance.
Luna: "It was uhh...very unique??"
Lucia: "And VERY painful to look at."
Lizard Warrior: "C-Curse you humans...ugh..."
Alea picks up both of her swords and splashes the smeared blood away from it's edges, sheathing both swords back to their sheathes.
Alea: "Fufufu~ As a consolation prize since nobody got the right answer, here are candies for both of you~"
Aww, I want one as well...if only I could open my mouth for other food sources other than just minerals.
Alea: "Now finally, to answer Luna's previous first question, how do you think my [Archer] class helped in detecting the Goblins' spawning?"
Luna and Lucia thought deeply, thinking of possible ways on how her class would've helped with enemy detection.
Lucia: "Hmm...I dunno, I haven't actually paired up with other Archers besides you, Sis. And I couldn't really observe much of your abilities when we were training since you were always cautious and extremely strong! On top of that, you always keep many secrets!"
Alea: "Fufu~ Of course~ In a real fight, you wouldn't want to reveal too much of yourself to your opponents right? Who in their right minds would even yell their skill's name when they attack?"
Luna, Lucia & Me: "..."
*Nervous whistling*
Lucia: *Cough* *Cough* O-Of course! Who would even do that I wonder~?
Luna: "..." *Lowers her cap*
Alea was about to burst from laughter due to our silence.
Luna: "Well, If I were to guess...does it relate to your enhanced senses as an [Archer]?"
The Big Sister smiles and nods.
Alea starts to walk towards the next hallway corridor, making the three of us follow after.
Alea: "An [Archer], when getting their Class Skills, Improves all of your "5-Senses". Do you guys know what the five senses are?"
Luna: "Umm yes. The five senses are what faculties our body that allows us to perceive external stimuli."
Alea: "Correct~! Not only does a [Class] define what talent you expertise in, it also enhances your physical abilities to best match your [Class]~"
I see...so that's how Classes work for this world.
Alea: "Since holding a [Class] isn't that much simple as you thought it would be, what do you think would happen if these classes didn't adjust your physical limits to match it's needed performance?"
Lucia: "Ehh? Wouldn't your body be unable to endure the physical stress it would backlash at you once you've used it??"
Alea: "You're right! If your body doesnt suit your [Class], ALL OF YOUR LIMBS WOULD EXPLODE!!!"
Jesus Christ!
Luna: "That sounds scary!!!"
Lucia was just about to faint from the horror.
Alea: "That's why classes adjusts your physical performance to best suit it's abilities~"
That's actually a convenient thing. Nobody wants their body exploding right? RIGHT???
Alea: "In accordance to my class, an [Archer], like I've said so earlier, all of my fives senses: My Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste, and Smell are all enhanced."
Luna: "I see...so that's how you were able to figure out how the goblins just recently spawned in."
Alea: "Another cookie for you~"
She hands over another cookie from her food pouch.
Alea: "If you were an [Archer] like me, you could see your opponents from distances over kilometers away with ease~ It's an Archer exclusive skill called the [Hawkeye], which sharpens my vision and let's me be able to shoot my projectile weapons with accurate precision~"
A sight enhancing skill huh, that sounds very useful...
[[Angus, this is not the time to think about perverted thoughts.]]
I WASN'T!
Alea: "Would you imagine just seeing a group of Goblins suddenly popping up out of nowhere and suddenly engages you in a fight with experience on top of that?!"
Lucia: "Hmm...you do have a point. Now I could see why your [Class] helped in knowing about the Goblins' recent respawn."
Luna: "But then, how come they were able to form a battle formation, despite only respawning just recently? Wouldn't it take for them to atleast survive through so many battles and improve with due to how they experienced it?"
Alea brings both of her hands together with a clap.
Alea: "A good question! This also answers your previous second question from before~"
Oh...I think I'm getting what she meant by it now...
I guess it really was my fault.
Alea: "It's important to know more about Labyrinths and Dungeons before you enter them~ As for Labyrinths, it will be the only thing I'll cover for you two newbies today~"
Lucia: "That's alright~ We can learn about Dungeons back at our lodging at Town."
There's a nearby town away from this Labyrinth? No wonder they decided to grind some levels here. If I ever get the chance to escape...maybe I should stop by at that town?
Alea: "Now~ About Labyrinths and Labyrinth Monsters."
Alea: "Labyrinths are composed of rooms and corridors. It's almost similar to a maze, only that it's crawling with monsters and boss monsters on each room you cross. Labyrinths also contains traps--"
Just as she said traps, flying out of nowhere-- Poison Darts appears from the shadows!
She swiftly dodges all of it with an innocent smile and continues to walk forward, only to set off another trap.
Alea: "More Traps--"
The floor below her suddenly opens up to reveal a pitfall of deadly spikes below. Luna and Lucia quickly grabs both of her arms to pull her away.
After that was done, the floor sealed itself up again and it was no longer dangerous to proceed. But after passing through that deadly trap once more, another one appeared.
This time, a large metallic ball chased after them down a sloped passage.
Alea: "AND EVEN MORE TRAPS! HAHAHA!"
Luna: "ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! WE GET IT! LABYRINTHS ARE FULL OF TRAPS! JUST KEEP ON RUNNING!'
What are they even doing...
After surviving all of those traps, everyone took a short break. This is why I choose to phase through walls instead. It's really bothersome to pass through these halls.
Alea: "While Labyrinths are very risky to challenge, they of course reward you handsomely in return. Each rooms reward you plenty enough of EXP bonuses to quickly raise your levels. And on each Boss Rooms, they house a ton of treasure, enough to make you live a fortune of luxury~"
She's right, all of the boss rooms I've defeated rewarded me a hefty ton of money and treasures. I hogged everything to myself of course, now, my [Inventory] is filled with nothing but wealth and fortune.
Is it thanks to my Lck stat?
Alea: "But none of those Room Bosses stand a chance compared to the Labyrinth Boss."
Is she talking about Big Boss?
Alea: "If you ask everyone round town what the Labyrinth Boss inside this Labyrinth is, nobody would answer."
Lucia: "Hm? Now that you've mentioned it...you're right. Why is that exactly???"
Alea: "It's because no one's strong enough to live through it to tell their own tales~ All~ of~ them~ dieeeed~"
And I'm the next one! Yikes!
Everyone gulped from the immeasurable pressure and tense backstory. Only Alea was able to keep a jolly expression.
Alea: "Moving on!---"
She quickly stands up and resumes their progress through the Labyrinth. Luna and Lucia immediately followed suit.
Alea: "---Towards the topic about Labyrinth Monsters. The Labyrinth houses another special trait."
Luna: "And that is?"
Alea: "It's that Labyrinth Monsters experience a repeated cycle of reincarnation."
Luna: "Reincarnation?"
Alea: "Think of it as something similar to being revived. Only that you will keep on being reborn into new bodies. Some of these monsters may even possess a fraction of their previous lives' memories as they "Respawn" inside this dungeon. Allowing them to maintain the experience they've accumulated from their previous life."
Exactly, that was exactly how the administrator explained it to me before. I was too interested in their conversation that it made me ignore that fact as I was focusing my attention to Alea's teachings.
So due to how thing's panned out. Just like I've said before, it was my fault that the monster kept on improving.
Lucia: "Then...wouldn't that mean that someone's been killing the monsters everyday to the point that whenever they respawn, they would start to adapt and adapt in order to survive as a form of retaliation?"
Uhh...
Alea glances over at my direction once again, opening her eyes and then sending death glares over my way.
*Fake Whistling*
Whoopsie~ Daisy~ Just an innocent little Golem passing by~
I-It definitely wasn't my fault~ Aha-...Ahahaha...
Alea: "Whoever it waaas~ sure had a lot of time messing with dear life itself~"
Poor monsters...whoever that bastard is, deserves proper punishment!
[[Isn't that bastard y-]]
PROPER PUNISHMENT INDEED!
Luna: "Brr~ Just the mere thought of someone killing these monsters over and over again gives me chills..."
Arriving at what seems like a dead end room. Everyone was so engrossed with their conversation that they never noticed they entered a boss room.
Huh? Wait a minute...this room...seems familiar...I feel like I have some business with this room...but I forgot what it was...
Alea: "Oh~? It seems like we've stumbled upon a Boss Room by accident~"
Just behind these girls, the room entrance closes.
Lucia: "Eh?! Isn't that bad?!"
Ah! I remember now!
This room...is 100x100 wide in land size. It's interior is filled with a dark medieval-esque castle pillars and the walls are hanged with blue flame torches.
At the end of this dead end room, a throne sits alone, and in it's throne chair is a Dark Armored Knight that emits a thick miasma of darkness.

Luna & Lucia: "Yes!"
Alea: "I'd like to see how far you two have grown since then~!"
Luna & Lucia: "Alright!"
Alea draws both of her swords, ignoring the secret weapon she has in store behind her back.
Alea: "Why don't we put on a show~? Don't dissapoint your Archer Big Sis nooow~"

The rest of the time, unfortunately, he is himself. When he’s not immersed in his favorite RPG video game, Nordic Runes, John is a slovenly, unemployed college drop-out, two years deep into a crippling depression and living with his parents. Having lost all hope for his real life, John spends his time on the couch, controller in hand, trying to forget it. When his two lives miraculously converge, however, John’s only hope for survival lies in overcoming his greatest obstacle - himself. ******* John Robbie, TS is a GameLit, Portal Fantasy with two primary objectives. It should be noted that the author, in addition to writing humor and fantasy, practices as a clinical psychologist. He also refers to himself in the third person. On special occasions, he uses the royal we. 2-3 chapters per week!
