《Sanctity of Blood》Chapter 16 : All secrets unveiled

No matter what Drake tried, the strange collar wouldn’t come off.
He was starting to lose all hope as he felt a strange power scouring his body. That power seemed to be able to uncover every little secret he had.
The voice of the artifact spirit then sounded again in his head, “I see…these two bloodlines appeared during gestation, when your human bloodline was still weak. Exploiting that weakness, and since they were stronger than the human bloodline, they induced a forceful fusion. How peculiar…but still, the laws of this multiverse wouldn’t allow such a thing to happen. What’s so special about you?”
“Get out of my head!!” Drake said as he was filled with madness.
“Hehe, I told you I had my ways…Hehe, let’s see what your two bloodlines are exactly. System, it’s your cue, what have you found so far.”
[The two bloodlines share some similarities with some known Primordial beasts.]
[Bloodline #1 : Similarities with the Underworld Bat.]
[Bloodline #2 : Similarities with the Heaven Devouring Wolf.]
The artifact spirit was flabbergasted, “The Underworld Bat and the Heaven Devouring Wolf. That doesn’t make any sense. He’s only five years old. He would have to have lived in the primordial era and be strong enough to acquire those two bloodlines and they are both variants at that. Could he be a reincarnation of an elite from the Primordial era who managed to escape the clutches of the Underworld? But it is impossible to reincarnate with the same bloodline you had in your last life. Could it be that he managed to find a way around that?...Maybe I should read his memories and see for myself. I risk nothing. Even if he was such a powerhouse, he’s weaker than me even though his body has reached the Allgod level thanks to his two bloodlines.”

“System, I want his memories!” The artifact spirit commanded.
[Copying memory cells into system interface.]
[Host memories now available.]
The artifact spirit only took a second to go through three lifetimes of memories.
“Holy…this kid is a genius. He managed to create his own magic system with the aid of the Underworld Bat’s bloodline. The way he managed to create a variant of the Underworld Bat’s bloodline while only being a mortal is unthinkable…but the way things are going he will lose the Underworld Bat’s bloodline to the Heaven Devouring Wolf’s bloodline. To keep both bloodlines, he must reach the Nascent Soul realm of Energy Cultivation and transform both bloodlines into Nascent Divinities.”
“Good…good…I’ve already learned his Blood Magic and since we are bonded to each other, I can use it as well. My life long goal of being free from this accursed armor has finally been achieved. With ‘Blood Reincarnation’ I can reincarnate anywhere in the Allverse.”
“System, extract three drops of source blood from the Underworld Bat’s bloodline.”
[Three drops of source blood extracted.]
Three blood red drops of blood could be seen floating before Drake. He looked at the three drops wondering what was about to happen to him.
A transparent man then came out of the collar and then positioned himself between the three drops of blood. It was the artifact spirit. It said to Drake, “I won’t be greedy since I’ve stolen your Blood Magic and three drops of blood of the variant Underworld Bat’s bloodline. Don’t worry, I will take good care of those two gifts in my next life. In the meantime you can keep the Empyrean Armor and the All-purpose System that come with it. Inside the crystal embedded in the collar, there is a universe. Before I left that universe, I left a message to the leaders of the humans living inside. I crowned you their next king. Some will still have a hard time accepting it, but others wouldn’t care that much. Just take care of them as I did. They are the descendants of the corpse you see here. And they are all special in a way.”

Drake mind only understood that his Blood Magic had been stolen and ignored the rest of the words the Artifact spirit was saying. He was so mad that he couldn’t describe it himself. It seemed the story was repeating itself again. He had let his Blood Magic get known by someone. God knows what he will do with it in the future. Having dominion over all bloodlines was something that had to be controlled.
The reason he was mad was that he knew how such power could corrupt a person. He, himself had been corrupted by it and his father from his second life, Count Dracula, had been corrupted by it.
Count Dracula was the only person he had taught the Blood Magic to, and he had since regretted it after seeing the carnage it had birthed.
And now another fiend had got ahold of his most prized possession.
No. He had to do something.
His first move was to recall the three drops of source blood within himself.
He initiated the Blood Magic but the three drops of blood remained in place, unmoving.
“Hehe. You can’t. My soul is a million times stronger than yours. You’ll never be able to take them away.” The artifact spirit said with a smirk.
The artifact spirit waved its hand and then the three drops fused together. It then initiated the the Blood Reincarnation Blood Magic. The blood then magically fused with the artifacts spirit’s body. After that, its body started to fade out of existence. Before it completely disappeared, it said, “I sincerely thank you for this gift you’ve given me…there are a lot of goodies inside the Empyrean Universe…do check it out.”
Drake then howled, expressing his anger and helplessness.
