《Sanctity of Blood》Chapter 12 : Poor Drake.

Anansi had been lost in laughter the moment he heard that the Allgod was a man. The images of the confused Drake when he found out the hard truth, were too numerous in his head that he couldn't help imagining them.
Lord Devinn was massaging his nose as he closed his eyes saying, "Poor Drake." He opened his eyes and then turned to the laughing Anansi, "This all sounds like an elaborate prank concocted by you. Are you sure you're not behind Drake's poor judgement? Something like this falls right into your power's domain."
As he was being scrutinized, Anansi stopped laughing and said, "Hey, hey, hey. Don't accuse me of something I didn't do. I assure you I had nothing to do with it...but I wish I did...hahahaha. this is too juicy." He went back to laughing his heart out.
Silas then said, "From the moment they developed feelings for each other, I thought it was going to be a perfect ending. After all, Drake could've remained an Allgod Candidate forever and the Allgod would be happy to gain such a big helper and wouldn't have to always be looking behind her back looking to protect himself from someone who would replace him. It's a win win situation for both of them since they would be in love with each other. But it was destined to be a sad story from the very beginning. Once Drake finally found out that she wasn't a woman, his dream of creating a family with the love of his life shattered. As for the Allgod, he felt betrayed that Drake couldn't accept him the way he was. In short, they both went mad and want to kill each other, but Drake doesn't have the mental strength to face him as he feels too guilty for being so thoroughly tricked."

Alywn, the Dragon man then said, " I still don't understand why we must save a younger Drake. Silas, the way your power works is that it removes someone from the timeline completely so that he can live independently from it. From that moment on he lives in a timeline that belongs solely to himself. What you call another Space Time Continuum. He can even bring anyone or anything he wants to keep closer to himself in his Divine Kingdom, in his own timeline. He can even enter any Allverse at any moment of its existence like you brought us here. This means that if young Drake were to die at this Allgod's hand, the future Drake would still remain alive. All I want to know right now is: did he bring his future family and friends to safety in his Divine Kingdom to protect them from being erased with the death of the young Drake?"
Silas nodded, "Everyone is accounted for, but he still wants us to protect his younger self. He says that his younger self doesn't deserve such an end."
Kane, the transparent and multicolored man, who remained silent thus far, sitting on his flying sword, said, "That's his job, not ours. We can't always be there to protect the young Drake when he is in danger while the old Drake is depressed because he developed feelings for a man."
He went straight to the point.
Silas then frowned, "It seems like you three are against our actions."
Lord Devinn then said, "Not at all, not at all. Drake is our friend and we'll do anything to help if we can. It's just that Kane is only stating the obvious. Now, do you all want to flex your muscles and fight a pointless battle where no one gets killed or do you want me to end it here and wish him or... her out of here. I swear, if Drake asked I could turn this Allgod into a complete woman, wouldn't they all be happy then? It's all just a wish away from happening."

They all joined Anansi in laughter.
"Well, I'll fight him. Just stay here and enjoy the show." Anansi said. An old book appeared and then floated before him. He waved his hand and then the book opened in the middle. He put his palm on top of a page and some words appeared on it : 'It was at that moment, yes, that moment that The Master of Stories Anansi copied Alywn's powers. Oh, but something else happened...he found out that he was just slightly stronger than Alwyn...yes, its true...he was really a little bit stronger than Alwyn.'
Alwyn felt like someone was stabbing him with a knife. There was no damage done to him, but Alwyn knew all too well what was happening.
Anansi then turned into a black Dragon with a body and wings spanning lightyears. The size of an entire universe.
"Shameless... truly shameless..." Alwyn said with rage." Let's not let him have all the fun, shall we?"
As another humongous black Dragon appeared, Lord Devinn couldn't help but say, " Sometimes, I think we still act like regular humans. We can't kid ourselves in the thought that being this drunk on power makes us any better. Look at those two, always at each other's throats trying to outdo each other. Aren't they a prime example? Kane, as a Dual Sword Spirit, what do you think?"
The transparent and multicolored Kane then patted the little Dragon on his shoulder saying, "We're only Sword Spirits. We live only as long as the sword still exists."
Lord Devinn's lips twitched, "I thought that you of all people should understand, because...back then, who asked me to give him a human body so that he could stop being a sword spirit. Back then, who fell in love with a human and created the Elemental Sword Clan thereafter..."
"Alright, alright. Let's stop saying nonsense and join in on the fun." Silas said.
"You're right. Little Drake is about to become an Allgod Candidate. I don't want to miss it." Said Lord Devinn as he disappeared in a white blue towards the Allgod. He was the first to arrive before the Allgod as he threw out an ordinary punch thinking "Let's see how you fare against an ordinary punch given by a body that was created by one percent of my true body's wish energy reserves."

The Undying Magician
How would a true immortal with average talent in magic fare within a world where magic is everything? In the world of Aria, only a small fraction of the population are classified as magicians. These magicians are able to use magic through the manipulation of the mana they are born with and are the core of the military strength within every nation. However, one nation in particular uses magicians to an even higher extreme than the others. This nation is known as The Republic of Arcania. The largest power in Aria. Our story follows Nathan Fox as he graduates from high school and is sent to the Arcane Academy for his required military training as a magician before he eventually serves his ten year term in the military.Nathan has been a true immortal ever since he got a semi-magical disease that makes any damage done to his body instantly reverse itself, bringing him back to his top form on the day that he became an immortal. Ever since then, it has been impossible for Nathan to die.But there are worse things in the world than death. And if the power-hungry magicians of the world were to learn of Nathan's true immortality? Then he might just experience those things himself. What will happen to Nathan as he traverses life in the academy? Will his secret be found out?Or will he be able to safely make it through the four years of academy life with his secret intact? That has yet to be foretold. The beginning of the story starts out slow for what many Royal Road readers are used to and then speeds up after around chapter 20 or so. It is a school arc, so it is supposed to be slow. Most of the combat and action isn't seen until after these chapters, which you can view as an introduction to the world, the characters, and magic itself. Many of the reviews are outdated due to edits I've been making along the way through the story. Specifically some of the edits going over the world itself, including pointing out in the story some of the things a few of the reviewers missed when they wrote their reviews, along with fixing other things that were pointed out in the story from the reviews and comments. This book is also being edited as it's being written, so some small parts might change as I get suggestions from readers. I do not write harem or sexual content in my stories. Ever.
