Zel, who appeared to be a little amused by the whole incident, said to Lena" I think he got the wrong idea. " with a smile on his face. He was talking about how the man who just stopped them thought Zel was her fiancee for unknown reasons.

"it's better that way, fewer problems to deal with.."

Lena said meanwhile starting pushing him once again, heading toward what appeared to be that office building,

"I see he finally proposed to you... congratulations... " he genuinely congratulated her.

"Now that I think about it, that explains what I felt when you punched me in the head, it was your ring," he continued, while scratching the spot he was hit on and remembering when she punched him.

"So, when are you planning to marry?" he asked.

"It's still too soon, and he's still in that new world, so organizing our wedding will be difficult," she replied. " ... "...but if I had to guess! I would say when he comes back ! " she then added, answering his question in the simplest and most logical way possible.

" well, then could you tell me more !? .....Knowing him, it had to be something lame, wasn't it?" Meanwhile, zel shook his head, as if pondering some strange way to propose to someone.

" To be honest, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary; everything happened on the spur of the moment. it occurred two months ago. When he visited you after his return, he said that this new world was a dangerous place and that if a guy like you got in a state like that, then no one was safe so, if anything was gonna happen to him..... he didn't want his last moment to be full of regret and he wanted at least to do that much... "

" I know he was dumb but not that much! why didn't you got directly married then if that what he thought ? " zel interrupted her .asking her what he thought was a good question.

"it's difficult to say who is the dumbest between you two ! " she retorted. bit annoyed from his comment meanwhile being protective of her partner.

"wha-... i- I am sorry...just don't hit me! " Zel raised one eyebrow looking like he was lost,

sigh~ Lena sighed

" because you seriously think it was the best moment for a wedding? !....you in a coma, him having to rush back... do you think I want my marriage to be something lame that will be celebrated without the presence of my beloved ones ?!! .." Lena started explaining why it was a bad idea

" then please resume your story," he said to her

" now that I am thinking about it, it was romantic and cute in it own way.... even though it happened all of a sudden.....I didn't even have time to digest what was going on .....It was a day as all the others, i was in the middle of work, then he paid me a surprise visit, because no one informed me that he cameback...and without further notice the first thing he did was to grab me...then he tightly hugged me....before starting to tell me how much he loved me and things like that and that I can always count on him, and that I should never forget those facts....then he knelt and proposed out of nowhere giving me that ring..."

Lena said with a voice full of emotions, then she stopped to show him her beautiful obsidian wedding ring in its center a pure see threw black stone shaped in as a ruby.

" he said it was made by material found on that new world... and that it was like him, giving me a part of that world. he added.... it was his way of saying we will always be together I guess ..... " she explained. before gently kissing her ring.

" man...at least he could have chosen a better place.. " Zel said a bit annoyed from how he proposed to her.

she gently looked at the ring again, ignoring Zel's comment, she then said

" he- he... said if anything happens to him,

... I needed to stay strong and to whatever the situation is be happy and always smile "

she said grasping, with little droplets of tears falling from her beautiful now-bit reddish eyes.

obviously, she was sad and worried about her future to be a husband.

"..."

" him ?! To die ? ! He is one of the most powerful people in Hope and one of the people closest to a Lord level," said Zel before looking at both his hands that he then clinched before adding

" now... I would say that he for sure is stronger than me. so don't worry too much about him he can handle himself. "

ZeL said meanwhile getting up and hugging her to comfort her. then he added.

" my plans can wait... at the first occasion, I'll get.. I will head and bring him back, then we will organize something big " he genuinely said meanwhile sitting back in the wheelchair.

" thank you, lord Zel, but you don't have to go that far, even if I would love to be selfish I know that right now his mission is more important than us." Lena genuinely thanked him refuting what he just said.

" you know what! it decided... you are coming with me when I will go back....we will surprise him, and after that, we will organize a big party the first-ever wedding in that new world. just imagine just the symbolism of it all! ... I owe both of you at least that much ." he said in a serious way, meanwhile crossing both his hands. and shaking his head in approval of his own idea.

"...." after a period of awkward silence, Zel brock the silence.

" you may need to know something though ! " he seriously said

" know what ? ! " she asked in anticipation.

" time goes different between our two worlds, one day there is equal to two days here so..he may find you abit old for his taste once you reunite! " he seriously said with s visible smile on his face.

"..."

" maybe you should also found a ...queen don't you think so ? or perhaps you want to die a V- fufu~ ." Lena said teasing him back and giggling

" A ...a- queen ?! " he repeated after her.

" or a king ...it up to you !. thought I am not sure what title is given in that kind of situation king and king ..fufu~. " she said again teasing him

" w - what ?! ...first and to clear any misunderstanding if it ever happens, it would surely be a 'queen'.... and who told you that I never did it ?! "

" wh-whaaaat !!! y- you did ?! " she genuinely was taken by surprise.

" Perhaps yes or perhaps no ! " he said

"..anyway do you really think I will find someone suitable..." Zel added not truly putting thoughts in his words he was just taken in the heat of the conversation like when you talk to a friend.

" You are going to see Lady Evie right?!.. just ask her out, I am already imagining the story ...two lords falling in love and getting married having babies, and living happily ever after, " Lena said lost in her fantasies smiling and giggling.

" Hahahaha nice joke ! " he genuinely laughed

" But ...let's just, ... lets it stay as one of your fantasies. " he said

" b- but why?!? she is beautiful, powerful, and has the same status as you! " Lena said as if she was trying to convince him that it was the ideal partner for him.

" because in reality, if I do ask her out.. she will surely either, insta absolute zero me.... or worst make me boil till I am no more! because you seem to forget that she hates me, And in both of those scenarios, there are zero chances for me of getting from such a mess alive. I am simply in no state to do that kind of tactical error. " He said half-joking half-serious.

" well true but you are wrong, what makes you think she hates you? " Lena said to him with a smile on her cute face.

" What do you mean ? " he genuinely asked

" nothing!!.. you will not understand, more like... you simply can't understand, it a woman thing, and besides that already arrived soo..." She said stopping right beside the tall imposing building the saw earlier.

From Afar beside a smaller basement, there was a group of what seemed to be a mix of some scientists and gourds that were murmuring things between themselves meanwhile throwing discreet glances at both Lena and Zel. but that was it, No one dared to approach them to talk or disturb them. they even took their distance from that building like they were afraid of it. these people were a clear indication that they no longer were in the restricted area.

Lena looked at them smiled, then processed to open the doors, before entering.
