'I didn't manage to break through,' Cale sighed inwardly. Initially, he wanted to quickly absorb the light sphere and then try to kill that white-haired man again. Unfortunately, not only did he not manage to break through, but he also couldn't finish the competition in one phase.
"After five days! I'm gonna kill you!" Zayn swore before leaping out of the arena. Followed by the stares of everyone, he disappeared into the crowd. Cale still didn't understand the reason for Zayn's ridiculous hatred for him, but it didn't matter that much. The sole and only thing Cale wanted from Zayn was his power.
"That was a great battle, I'm quite impressed with the strength you were able to accelerate during the fight," Darius, who was still standing in the middle of the arena, said with a smile.
"I am honored to hear such kind words from the king himself," Cale bowed slightly, "I'll be sure to show more of my power to assure everyone that I truly deserve your daughter's hand."
"Hahaha! Good, good!" Darius was pleased with such a response as he smiled, "Even if you lose the battle, I'm sure you will become one of the strongest warriors in our kingdom. Your potential is vast"
"Thank you for your kind words, King Darius. Unfortunately, I can't continue our short conversation any longer and I will have to excuse myself" Cale stated.
"Good, I expect great achievements from you"
After hearing the king's words, Cale no longer doubted himself and jumped off the arena. Accompanied by everyone's gazes, he disappeared through the main gate.
'Hmm...what a bizarre warrior, his Qi is strangely dispersed, yet it feels so dense. How interesting,' Darius thought one last time before withdrawing his gaze and returning to his throne.

After half an hour, Cale had already closed the distance to the building.
'That was close, I should never approach anyone in yield of so much power...at least for now,' Cale thought one last time. He didn't know the exact power of the king, but considering he managed to appear in front of Cale unhindered in a blink of an eye, it was undoubtedly compelling enough to threaten him.
As he entered the room, he was greeted by the usual scene of Leo and Fenrir. Sensing the familiar smell of sweat, Cale quietly made his way to the bed where Fenrir still rested with his belly upwards.
Since the end of the night, Cale felt extremely exhausted and he couldn't help but flop down on the mattress. Although he had defeated everyone from the competition with ease, the side effects of bursting out so much power all at once still kicked in.
Seeing the silently sleeping Fenrir only stimulated the urge to dispel his fatigue. Without hesitating any longer, Cale laid down comfortably on the mattress and after a few moments, his vision snapped out.
-
Incredible energy coursed through Leo's body, going through every shred of his organs, thoroughly cleansing them. As he felt more and more white energy enter his body, Leo smirked.
For so many days straight, he had been cultivating assiduously. His desire for revenge and the memories of the family had motivated him even more.
'I can't train anymore...I need to rest' Leo finally opened his eyes, which were filled with tiredness and exhaustion. His eye sockets were purple from lack of sleep.
'It still hasn't calmed down,' Leo sighed after glancing at his constantly shaking hand. Unfortunately, the non-stop days of training weren't the only reason for his fatigue. Ever since that day when he was hit by the rock, both of his hands had been trembling incessantly. Moreover, every time he tried to fall asleep, a gruesome image of all his friends being killed would pop up.

'Cale? Is he sleeping?' Leo belatedly saw an armored man resting on the mattress as he thought, 'Why is he wearing armor?...Now that I think about it, I've never seen his face before.'
Subconsciously, Leo moved towards Cale, quietly stepping on the floor so as not to make any noise. After stopping in front of the armored man, Leo looked at him from above, as an intrinsic feeling overwhelmed.
He was curious. Curious as to what was hiding beneath those alloys.
In all the time they'd been together, Cale had never shown his face. Whether they ate, slept, or even stopped for some fresh air, he never showed even a bit of his skin.
Leo's hand moved, approaching the purple helmet from above. His heartbeat increased while the hand began to shake uncontrollably.
'Ah...what am I doing,' Leo cursed inwardly as he immediately withdrew his palm, 'I shouldn't care about what's hiding under this mask, but should better focus on getting stronger...'
With such thoughts, Leo went back to the corner and settled into the lotus position. He quashed the urge to sleep deep within his soul, closed his eyes, and began cultivating again.
Little did he know that Cale, who was apparently resting, had actually seen Leo's every movement. Cale saw all the doubts in his eyes and especially noticed the constantly trembling hand. It was clear, Leo's trauma still wasn't defeated.
'If this goes on like that, I will have to do something,' Cale thought before closing his vision again.
-
The next day, Cale woke up with an invigorated vitality. He no longer felt fatigued and was able to move his Qi freely. Leo's condition, on the other hand, only worsened. Sure, white energy was still flowing into his body, but the pace had dwindled many times.
"I have to think of something," Cale thought as he stepped out of the room, deciding to get some fresh air outside. This time he also took Fenrir together, who desperately didn't want to get off the mattress.
-
While the two had already left, leaving Leo all alone in the room, a person appeared just outside the building. His attire consisted of several black robes that stretched over every inch of his body.
With a faint killing intent radiating around the person, he silently made his way to the newly rented room, managing to escape the sight of everyone.
