On his way back Shad felt lucky, he made a good start, he had nice weapons, and probably an armor above means someone of his tier. Also, he had easy kills with those adventurers gaining him an easy breakthrough to tier one.

While he returned he find an unexpected guest waiting for him just out of the forest. This was Terry. Terry looked worried.

Shad asked, "What happened?" Terry said "Bad news, man, bad news. Another band of adventurers came here, they heard the other team didn't come out of the forest. They are going to go after the goblins because they knew the other team was here on a goblin extermination mission. "

"You said you give female adventurers to the goblins. If they kill the goblins and rescue the girls we are finished, man. When they hear what have I done they will skin me alive." Shad looked at Terry, "Stop worrying, let me figure a solution."

They made some footmarks, came near a cave. Shad took off his boots and said to Terry, "Just take off your boots and give them to me." Then he trowed some weapons and boots to the cave. Terry asked, "What are you doing man?"

Without leaving a trace they walked behind a big rock and hid there. Shad answered, "We made the false track so they can come here and meet with the tier 2 bear in this cave." Terry said "Man. You are scary smart."

Shad said, "You just wait here, I will go and make sure they find these tracks."

The adventurer team led by a female ranger already find the tracks. Shad was planed to lure them to the tracks but that was not necessary. The female leader said "These tracks are weird, the team sposed to be 4 people but there are just 2 sets of tracks here.

They walked to the bear den, ranger signed stop with her hand. She said "This is not a normal cave, they were supposed to kill goblins, why they would go after a bear?

A warrior speaks up, "You said these tracks are fresh. If the other team attacked the bear it must be wounded. That means easy stat points. A rouge girl says "Yea, also the pelt of the bear would worth a lot of money. We need money Leah, you know it. Ranger girl said, "Something doesn't seem right here, I don't want to take any unnecessary risks, our most important asset is our health. If we get killed nothing has any worth.

Shad said from inside "Wise girl." She wasn't going to fall into the trap but He didn't want all his efforts to go to waste. He used his telekinesis to bring down some stones in the cave entrance agitating the bear.

From the noise, the bear gets out furious. It charges the first person it sees.

Leah made a backward jump a few meters long. That was a skill that used stamina, while in the air she draws her bow and shoots an arrow. While bear attacking Leah the rouge girl brings out a small vial, poisoning her curved dual daggers. The warrior took his position a double hander ax at hand. The mage started to change some attack.

Shad saw how the magic happened. The guy was inserting mana in a shape in the air, that shape turned the natural mana to fire mana, and the fire mana pushed by the mage to another shape which turned fire mana into a big ball of fire.

Shad had magic but telekinesis only used natural mana and had no skills, just moved stuff. If you better at it you moved stuff bigger and faster.

He brings out the paper and pen he got from the previous team of adventurers. He draws the shape of magic turned natural mana into fire one and also he draws the shape that turned fire mana into a ball.

While Leah kiting the bear all three members of the team attacked with their most powerful attacks from the back.

Bear groans in pain. Then the bear turned and hit the warrior with a powerful slash with yellow streaks behind, Shad guessed that is a skill. The guy flies back. He was still alive but barely. That was scary powerful.

While mage and ranger continued to draw bear to themselves the rouge girl ran to the warrior a vial at hand. Shad saw the first time how efficient a health potion is. Nearly dead warrior started to limp away from the battle, while the rouge girl returned to her attacks.

Shad waited for the warrior to have some distance from others and then he got close to him and attacked him beheading the wounded man in a single move.

Team members didn't notice the unfortunate end of their companion.

When Shad returned to the scene bear was mowing down the rouge girl. She was screaming high while ranger and mage firing everything they got the bear.

The rouge died bloody. The bear was still alive and well Leah cried "Let's run Joe, I am out of stamina, and potions." Joe the mage said "I am out of mana too. Let's run in different ways it can't chase us both."

Bear followed after Leah, Shad went after Joe. The exhausted mage guy didn't run much. After noticing the bear got the other way he stopped and put his hands on the knees and started panting.

Shad jumped on the guy, easily overpowered him, the mage didn't have high strength and he was also already pretty beaten up. Shad tied him up like crazy and tied him on top of a tall tree for his safety from wandering beasts. Then he returned and go after the bear.

He followed the tracks easily, tracks were so obvious even without any skill he could have been able to track those. Soon he finds Leah and the bear. The girl's bow was broken, she was bloodied and she was in her last breaths.

Shad looked at the bear. It was also wounded have many burns, slash and stab wounds, and arrows all over it. So he guessed if he manages a good blow in the right place he could take it down.

He sneaks close by and jumped at the beast's back Two short sabers are aimed right at the back of the neck. He used his stab skill while boosting his speed further with his telekinesis push.

Blades went deep cutting the spinal bulb and instantly paralyzing the beast. After that, he just slashed the neck of the beast.

The girl tried to move but she wasn't able to. Shad got near her, first tied her up thoroughly then give her one of her health potions. He needed her alive for now.
