As Xie Jingfei entered the restaurant ' Flour Tongue ' her nose twitched a couple of times before she scratched it, and finally decided to sit down at a table near her. She looked around and only noticed a couple of tables filled with some young men and even saw a couple of parents with their kid's laughing which made her raise one eyebrow.

' Is this it? A restaurant is really.....

"Hehe, young lady , how about you come here? It's not fun to be alone, right?"

A voice directed at her attracted her attention, and when she turned she saw a smiling young man a couple of tables away waving at her. As she saw this she also smiled back, but shook her head making the young man stop in his tracks, and the other three men on the same table as him laugh out loud.

"Hahahahahahaha.....

"Bing, that was....pfffttt.....

"Oh, heavens.....why have you forsaken our young Bing...pfffftt....

The young man's face became redder and redder from the laughter , and he couldn't hold it anymore.

"SHUT UP......" murmured the young man between his teeth as he was made fun of, making the others smile even more. This made Xie Jingfei feel a little bad for him, but she lost that train of thought as a woman in her late forties approached her. The woman had her hair cut short, wore a soft calming smile , and wore a white apron that had the writing ' Have a Good Day' sewn on it.

" What do you want to order?" said the woman in a quick manner.

At first Xie Jingfei was surprised when she found out that the woman had approached her whithout her noticing , but she didn't do anything. She restrained herself and just asked the woman to repeat herself.

"So...what do you....you don't know what we serve right?" said the woman with a sigh as she saw the young woman's face" No wonder you appear confused....I was also when I found out."

" Oh....do you serve anything special here?" said Xie Jingfei as she prepared to escape at any second, but still kept a calm outward appearance.

"Something special.....you could say that. We serve something called a 'Sandwich' , which is a myriad of things between two slices of bread, usually a type of meat. There is also......" continued to explain the woman as Xie Jingfei listened with curiosity at her explanation, and finally Xie Jingfei choose something.

Less than five minutes later the waitress came back again and put a plate of something together with a narrow and tall bronze cup in front of Xie Jingfei who just stared at the food,the two slices of bread stuffed with things with furrowed brows . The dish was definitely like the waitress had explained, two square slices of rice bread and what looked to be meat was stuffed on the inside, but that was not what threw her of.

Xie Jingfei raised her head to question the waitress about the lack of eating utensils , but she was meet with a knowing nod.

"It seems that you don't understand.....the dish you have ordered is supposed to be eaten with your hands.

It's the right way after all."

"With....my hands?" questioned Xie Jingfei and internally she was thinking about the strange things that had just happened since she entered this place.

' At first, I couldn't detect this woman's Qi as she approached me , then she exudes the Qi of a non Cultivator, and now she serves me this dish. Is she trying to disrespect me for entering this place unannounced.....or is this a warning to stay away?' thought Xie Jingfei as she reluctantly took the sandwich and stared at it. She continued to stare at it for about a minute, after which she received a light tug from inside her robe and finally took a small bite.

"Mmm.....

She slowly ate the sandwich , seemingly savoring it's taste, but in reality she was waiting to see if anyone was approaching her. After she finished the sandwich she moved her attention to the cup on her side and she received another tug from her clothes so she drank it unhesitatingly. The sweetness of the cold tea washed the savory taste of the sandwich and it felt heavenly.

"Haaaaaaa.....

She couldn't help but exhale in satisfaction at the combination of the two.

' This is good, not great but good. The food doesn't contain any Qi at all, but it surely appeases my appetite and cleanses my soul.' thought Xie Jingfei as the last taste of the meal disappeared from her tongue." Now..... what to do.....

She looked around the place a couple more times seeing the people eating with their hands and couldn't help but feel a little disgusted. She had been brought up with etiquette suitable for a noble , trained on how to carry herself so seeing something like this was strange.

' Not like it matters anymore....' thought Xie Jingfei as she waved at the waitress and paid for her meal before leaving, forgetting about her original goal.

This of course was seen by Rex who had been the one to test Xie Jingfei by concealing the Qi signature of Tao's wife, and confirming that she was a cultivator of the Meridian stage at least.

' That girl.....I hope that she is just passing by.'

That same night Xie Jingfei was sitting crosslegged on the bed of her rented room with her eyes closed, but she wasn't really cultivating. She was just slowly rotating her Qi inside her meridians , making her stay awake and ready to make a move at anytime.....like now for example.

*BANG*

The door of the room suddenly exploded in hundreds of wooden splinters as a figure fully clad in black lose robe's was seen rushing forward, but Xie Jingfei didn't move from her position and just extended her hand. Immediately from her sleeve there shoot out a silver needle double the length of a normal sewing needle, and punctured straight through the wood wall on her left with a creaking sound. As soon as she did that the figure that came rushing over stopped on its tracks and dissolved into black and green smoke which reflected of Xie Jingfei's calm blue eyes.

"Hmph.....I'm tired of your tricks..." slowly said Xie Jingfei as she looked at the open door " Why don't you come out so I can clearly see you, or is the mighty ' Ghost Flame' Sect the home of cowards?

Heh.... you don't have to answer that."

After her clear taunt, a cold and metallic voice came from the door as there figures that looked exactly like the one who had disappeared in smoke came forward from the dark corridor, immediately making her pupils turn to slits.

"Kiik....kikikikkkkkii..... princess, you overestimate yourself, and at the same time underestimate the ' Ghost Flame' Sect. Don't make the same mistake as your father.... kikikikkkik.....

"Bastard....." muttered Xie Jingfei.

This comment clearly upset her , but she didn't have time as two gigant ghostly hand's came from above and tried to squish her, but to no avail. She was to fast, escaping the two hands and rushing towards the three black figures, two silver needles in front of her.

"Haaht....

"Hmphh...

The two needles bitzed forward with incredible speed towards the three figures, piercing the head of one of them, but the other doged it with difficulty. After that there ensued a loud and fierce battle between the three of them where about half of the In was destroyed and the other half was beyond repair.

In that rubble, a black clothed figure remained standing while a young man that looked no more than sixteen bowed his head.

"Team leader....Xie Jingfei escaped again from our grasp, and it's all my fault. Willing to accept any punishment...

"Enough!"

"Team leader.....

"I said enough.....

You didn't fail, it's just that she is that worthy of an opponent. Heh, you not beeing able to contain someone like her is normal...... but don't you worry, next year is going to be the aniversary of her death."

"Team leader....." muttered the young man through his gritted teeth." May I know how you are going to do that? Last time I checked she was at the 15th the meridian and you are at the 13th meridian. Not to also mentioned that she also has the numerous treasures of her sect....

"Hmmmm.....

The young man stopped talking as he felt a chilling coldness on his spine, as the man was now staring straight at him. The two gleaming green eyes were the only thing the young man could notice.

"Yi Bingwen , Yi Bingwen , I can see the potential in you to become a great ghost cultivator, but it takes time to achieve that. I suggest you use that time in cultivation and keeping your opinions to yourself when not asked..... just a reminder from your senior."

"Yes.... senior...." answered the young man as he gritted his teeth hard enough to make his gums bleed. The man saw this and just internally smiled at the response of the young man.

' Heeh, openly showing your emotions like that shows that you're really not cut to be a ghost cultivator as even a misstep can cause you to become a vengeful spirit yourself.Such a shame.....hehehe....not really.' Internally laughed the man as he looked towards the direction where Xie Jingfei went with a malicious smile.
