“ AARGH, I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE.”- Felix
After saying farewell to his family and love lives, Felix set out with Alicia to begin their journey to seek out the magi knights. The journey started out pretty alright, but as time went by, Felix was at his wits end.
“ Come on, it's only been half a day. How are you already so miserable.”- Alicia
“ Well let's see, apart from the fact that I have to travel with someone I hate, I have to travel with someone I hate on foot while being used as a pack mule! How can you have so much when you haven’t been out that long?”- Felix
“ Must you be such a crybaby? I'm a frail woman you know? Your a man and you want inflict such a heavy burden on me?”
“ You, a frail women? Lady you have a better chance of making me believe you are a goddess! This is the same person who obliterated monsters and smashed buildings with a flick of her fingers while having a wicked smile on her face, and she has the audacity to call herself frail? What kind of stupid excuse is that?
“ That's only when I have mana you brat! Without that, my physical strength isn’t even higher than yours! Can you please stop treating me like I'm some kind of gorilla?”
“Okay, let’s say I believe you, then why don’t we kiss so we can get your mana back and just fly to our destination. We’re on a tight schedule correct? Since you can sense presence of those seals, why don’t we use your magic to make quick work of this?”
“....No.”
“Your reason!”
“I don’t wanna kiss you. It’s horrible.”
“WHAT!”
“No offense, but when I kiss you there’s absolutely no feeling in it. It feels like I’m molesting a teenager. And besides, the presence of the seals isn’t set, I’ll feel as I go. So even with mana, it would still be the same and I’d have to carry you around. I--don’t-- wan--na.”
“Oh, is that right.”
“Eh?”
“QUITE SCREWING WITH ME, ‘YOU DON’T WANNA’, YOU LAZY WITCH! JUST HURRY UP AND KISS ME SO WE CAN END THIS STUPID QUEST!”
“KYAAAA”
Needless to say, that last comment left Felix peeved. He lunged at her only for them both collide with each other and fall on the ground, him being on top. Felix and Alicia wound up facing each other and had a moment.
“Fe-Felix.”
“W-what.”
“Get off me. And please remove your hands.”
“Ehem, sorry about that. I lost my head for a minute.”

“If you’re aware of my current strength, then just carry the luggage. You’ve already taken advantage of my chest.”
“Very well.”
As they got up, Alicia got a good look at his attire.
“By the way, I've been meaning to ask this since we started, but what's with your outfit and gear.
Felix's attire consisted of martial and modern clothes. Felix also had a zweihander on his back and a katana on his waist. He also had a massive revolver on his side.
“ I had these clothes especially made for when I head out to adventure. This tool was something I had developed to replace my lack of magic. The sword on my back is something my father gave me. The blade on my side is something I personally crafted. What, you don't approve?”
“ Not at all, this outfit really works for you. I might just actually fall for you. Just remember that I'm putting my life in your hands. Please try and protect me with the best of your abilities.”
“ Wow, I actually detected some sincerity in there. I don't know if this is a miracle or an omen.”
With that, the two of them continued on their journey. Since they were traveling on foot they couldn't travel so far. Despite that they were making good time. By the early evening, they traveled to the merchant city Tarren. The town streets weren't too crowded as they entered.
“ Ah, now this is nice. It's been such a long time since I've been able to walk around without restraint. Merchant cities are without question a major attraction.”
“ We can sightsee later. For now let’s just find an inn to stay at. I’m completely exhausted.”
“That’s not a bad idea we’ve been on the road long enough. Finding a place to rest is most logical.”
After looking around the town, they finally found an inn to stay at.
“So you’ll want a room correct. That’ll be thirty copper coins please.”- female clerk
“Yes we’ll only be staying one night. Please give us the best room you have available.”- Alicia
“I’m sorry, but we’ve been having an influx of customers. The only rooms we have left are single rooms and suites with one bed. Is that alright?”- female clerk
“That’s fine.”- Alicia
“No it is not fine! Only one bed? Forget that! Just give us both single rooms! I’ll stay in one, she can stay in the other!”- Felix
“And just why are you trying to get away from me Felix? I’ve already told that you can never leave my side! We’re staying in the same room and that’s that!”

“No way!”
In the end, Alicia won over and got them both to stay in one room, though Felix made sure to sleep on the floor a good distance away from Alicia.
“Aah I changed into some different clothes. I do intend to look around today so I might as well be comfortable.”- Alicia
Just don’t lose focus of your priorities. More importantly Alicia.”- Felix
“Eh?”
“WHAT THE HECK IS WITH ALL THESE BOOKS! HERE WE ARE, ABOUT TO GO ON A LONG JOURNEY THAT COULD TAKE WHO KNOWS HOW LONG, AND THE ONLY THING YOU BOUGHT WITH YOU ARE A BUNCH OF HEAVY BOOKS! WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET THESE? KNOW WHAT, DON’T ANSWER THAT QUESTION ANSWER THIS ONE, WHERE ARE YOUR NECESSITIES?”
“....Books are food for the spirit and good for the mind, y’know.”
“SCREW THAT PHILOSOPHY, THERE’S NO WAY WE’RE CARRYING THESE THINGS ALL THROUGHOUT OUR JOURNEY! WE’RE SELLING THESE THINGS BEFORE WE LEAVE HERE, I DON’T CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES!”
“What, nooo! I still haven’t finished all of them yet!
And with that, their journey was delayed due to bad preparation. After literally ripping the books out of her grasp, Felix took Alicia out shopping to get proper supplies.
“Uuh seriously, why me? I really hate this kind of shopping.”
“Quit your whining, considering you didn’t pack the essentials, this is your own fault.
“Give me a brake, I’ve never had to deal with this nonsense before. Since your the slave, you should be doing this instead of me.
“What did you just call me.”
“Nothing.”
“That’s what I thought.”
After walking around for a while they found a merchant store to sell the books.
“30 SILVER PIECES, ARE TRYING TO MESS WITH ME! JUST ONE OF THESE BOOKS COST AT LEAST TWICE THAT MUCH! I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU’RE USED TO MESSING WITH, BUT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN FOOL ME, YOU’VE GOT ANOTHER THING COMING! YOU’LL PAY 300 SILVER PIECES FOR THESE BOOKS,AND IF YOU TRY TO LOWER THE PRICE YOU'RE A DEADMAN!”
Needless to say, Felix was shocked by Alicia’s negotiation skills. They earned quite a bit of money after that shirad. Shop owner practically threw them out when they were done.
“A-lic-ia!”
“W-what? Isn’t that how you normally conduct business?”
“Good job, color me impressed.”
“O-oh, well you know.”
Felix was pulled out of his musings when he felt a light touch on his back. What appeared in his field of vision was a little girl with pink hair and blue eyes.
“ Hello there Mr traveler. My name is Sakura.”- Sakura
“ What's this now?”- Alicia
“ Uh, hello. What can we do for you?”- Felix
“ Well, if you don't mind, would you be willing to buy me?”- Sakura
““ Ehhh””
Both Felix and Alicia were thrown back due to the girls bold statement.
“ B-buy you?”- Alicia
“I'm sorry, but I don't think I heard you correctly.”- Felix
“ Sakura, how many times have I told you not to be so brazen like that. I'm sorry sir, but I assure you it's not what you're thinking. Please come in.”- store clerk
“ I'd definitely like an explanation this( so I can decide if I should turn your insides out).”- Felix
“Well, first thing to get out of the way is that girl isn't really terran, she's artificial.”- store clerk
“ Artificial!”- Felix
“ Aah, I see now. This little girl is a homunculus, isn't she.”- Alicia
“Explanation please.”- Felix
“ Homunculi are artificial beings created with an ancient type of magic. They were mainly used by terrans who were incapable of using magic. While to they look human, their lifespan is twice as long and can maintain their peak condition.”- Alicia
“ Kinda like an upgraded version of Frankenstein.”- Felix
My family has been managing homunculi for generations, but it's been hard to find people who still need them. I had already sold her mother not long ago. She was good with housework and cleaning, but her daughter not so much.
So are you interested young sir? I can tell that you're an adventurer. I'm certain that she'll be of some use.”- store clerk
“ Sorry clerk, but this girl won't be of any use to us. He already has someone who can wield mana and your staring at her.”- Alicia.
“ We'll buy her.”- Felix
“ Yes we will…NOT BUY HER!”- Alicia
“ We're buying her.”- Felix
“ What do you mean by this Felix!”- Alicia
( R-really! He'll really buy me?)- Sakura
“ How much for her?”- Felix
“ Felix, this is pointless. Just what do you even need a homunculus for? She's just gonna be another mouth to feed.”- Alicia
“ For several reasons. One of them being is that I can't use the magic of this world. It'd be nice to have someone who can.”- Felix
“ But what about me?”- Alicia
“ ….You, you're the reason for the reasons. How much?”- Felix
“ FELIX!”- Alicia

Skeleton Sovereign?
A lawyer, along with ten thousand other people, is kidnapped by the Heavenly Demon of Decay to participate in a campaign against the Monarch of Everglades. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, has chosen these ten thousand people to be the captains of his 100 man squads, saying that beings of lower realms are easier to boost temporarily. Our lawyer didn’t complain much at that. A generic hero summoned to another world setting, he thought. And as he didn’t have any family or much attachment to his previous world, he even liked his situation. But that was until he found out, that the “Heavenly Demon of Decay” was a necromancer. And that he along with millions of other humans, and various beings, were processed into undead soldiers. ‘Well fuck!’, he thought. And after being equipped with high quality equipment, and being robbed of his free will, he marched, along with billions of other horrifying undead, against the Monarch of the Everglades. But his poor luck didn’t end there. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, and his army lost. But the worst part was, they left him behind while retreating. Now, he is stuck behind in a huge jungle, full of various monsters, where every moment he must struggle for his life. But isn’t he already dead? This thought only serves to incense him further. But that is not all to his story, he finds that he is in a different, more powerful world, where wizards, warriors, dragons, dungeons but most importantly “CULTIVATION” exists. Albeit not very Chinese, but cultivation nonetheless. But, can a skeleton even cultivate? Not a native english speaker. So don't expect impeccable grammar. Although I do try my best, this is also my first novel so pointers are appreciated. Haters, just stop reading if you don't like it. Please don't spoil my mood by evil comments.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
