The west kingdom,

“ How could you have failed so miserably.”

You were chosen specifically for this task since conquering the east kingdom shouldn't have been hard.”

“ We needed this to be done as quickly as possible. With this failure, the east will prepare accordingly and will attempt to unite the other ones.”

“ We are still not ready to engage an all out assault. That's why we engaged in a sneak attack.”

“ How do you plan to correct this Torque?”

The council members of the west kingdom were ranting relentlessly at the ambassador named Torque. Considering that their scheme failed, they had to take out there rage on someone.

“ It's not my fault. I already told you exactly what happened. Do you seriously expect me compete with the queen of all mana.”

When he described the fight, they were shocked beyond belief. Apart from the fact that Alicia was alive, but the fact that she was helping the east kingdom was to them incomprehensible.

“ I still can't believe that this woman is the legendary magus that brought chaos to all terrans.”

“ I highly doubt that someone would be foolish enough to spout such claims unless there was an inkling of truth to it. To do so would make enemies on both sides.”

“ Even if that is the case, why would she be siding with the east kingdom. Or with any terran for that matter.”

“ Especially when some of those terrans are descended from the ones who imprisoned her, those vile Drakes.”

“ That young Drake is especially dangerous. The fact that he could contend against the underworld beasts so easilys proof of his capabilities.”

“ The biggest worry of that is that we don't know the origins or the extent of his strength. This could prove to be a thorn in our side.”

The council members were in total disarray. They couldn't seem to agree on any subject. This went on till the king decided to intervene.

“ ENOUGH. Arguing about this point won't do us any favors. All we can do now is adjust our plans and proceed from there. Clarion, how do you think we should proceed.”- west king

The king spoke to the man beside him while his eyes glazed over. The man had shoulder- length black hair and dark brown eyes with a slightly tall and lean stature. When he smiled, it gave off a devious nature.

“ There's no need to worry yourself over this your highness. Whether this woman is indeed the witch of legend we'll find out soon enough.( So Alicia, you've finally returned).”- Clarion

The east kingdom,

All the nobles were gathered in the main hall enjoying a celebration. After the fight with Torque, the kingdom managed to restore itself in a couple of days. During that, word had gotten out of the declaration of war with Sylvania and the return of the great witch Alicia. Considering, that she couldn't do anything while Felix held the seal, queen Elena decided to worry about her on a later date. For now, she decided to call back all her forces and plan for the coming fight. However, before dealing with this scenario, she wanted to throw a feast in honor of the ones who successfully protected the castle. So presently, everyone was mingling around, having conversation and enjoying themselves. Among these nobles were the Drake family. All the males wore tailored suites while the females wore fancy dresses. There would always be some heads that would turn to observe them.

“ Geez, I'm not really comfortable with these clothes.”- Reyna

“ Oh come on Reyna, I think you look amazing.”- Robin

“ Yeah, I'm amazed big brother and you haven't tied the knot yet.”- Ariana

“ Well that has to do with his other commitments. Besides, I think there's already enough kids in the house already.”- Reyna

“ Speaking of which were is Felix. I'd really appreciate if he get some of these eyes off me.”- Amari

“ C'mon Amari, gain a backbone. It's times like these were you need show the pride of your family.”- Reyna

“ She's right Amari. This is also battlefield in its own right. It's best to have a solid defense while not forsaking offense.”- Nathan

“ C'mon dad, don't go filling up these kids heads with talk of war. With way things are they'll be getting plenty of that in the coming years. Anyway, it looks like the queen will coming out soon. I've got go get your mothers. The rest of you try and find Felix, he's the main man after all.”- Damian

““ Yes dad”” female siblings

“ On it.”- Amari

Meanwhile, Felix was outside contemplating on everything that happened up to this point.

“ The return of my brother's enemy, the cursed seal, the declaration of war, and not a single bit any closer to my brother than when I was younger. I swear, if it's not one thing, it's something else. Not to mention I have to kiss her in order to undo the seal. Honestly, has my fortune turn into misfortune in this world.”

Felix knew that he couldn't stay there on the balcony forever, but for the current him, he wasn't in a festive mood. Still, he couldn't just go up and leave; it would be bad courtesy. So with that, he decided to put on his brave face and try to have a good time. He proceeded to head back inside when he ran into his brother.

“ Felix, there you are. You should be enjoying yourself with everyone, not out there moping by yourself. This is all thanks to you, y’ know.”- Amari

“ Yeah I know, sorry for making you all worry. Just had to get my thoughts together.”- Felix

“ Well hurry up. The queen could show up any minute. And she really wants to introduce both you and Alicia to the nobles present.”- Amari

“ Really, me and her together. Since when were me and her all ‘ buddy- buddy’s’? We're only lucky since she can only regain her powers for a short period of time.”

“ Well at least you get to kiss a beautiful woman.”

“ In case you've already forgotten, there are plenty of gorgeous women in my life and adding that one is definitely going to bring me misfortune.”

“ Oh come on big bro, don't you think you're judging her a little too harshly?”

“ Felix, where the blazes have you been? I've been searching for you all day. It’s really hard to move in this dress you know.”- Alicia

That yell could only belong to Alicia. The dress she wore was red and white covered in frills It looked like it made her feel uncomfortable. Though from the stairs she was getting, it seemed to enhance her figure immensely.

“ Wow, will you look at that” “that's the queen of mana” “ this is Alicia Rand Philistine” “ she looks gorgeous”- bystanders

“ Hehe looks like even after so many years, I can still cause so many heads to turn.”- Alicia

Alicia seemed to be enjoying all the attention she was getting, though it annoyed Felix that she wasn't trying to be subtle about it.

“ Hey Felix, aren't you going to say something about her looks.”- Amari

“ Yeah, like I'm going to give her the satisfaction.”- Felix

“ C'mon Felix, you're going to be stuck with each other for quite a while. You could make it easier on yourself by trying to get along.”- Amari

“ Fine, I'll be honest with her. Hey Alicia.”- Felix

“ Hmm”

Your exposing your chest way too much”- Felix

“Felix, don’t you think that was a little harsh.”- Amari

“ Hey, just being honest, don't criticize.”- Felix

“ Hah, like I'm going to be affected by brat who barely qualifies as a man. Probably doesn't even have hair yet.”- Alicia

“ Right, this coming from the girl who can't even fight a fourth rate mage without this brat who's barely a man.”- Felix

Yeah, then how about we kiss right here and now to find out?”- Alicia

“ How about we not?”- Felix

“ Uh guys, you might wanna, um.”- Amari

While Alicia was trying to steal Felix's lips, the queen took this time to appear before the audience. She was followed by Nathan and her two kids.

“ Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you all for coming to attend, especially during these serious times. As you all know, war is looming over us all. The country of Sylvania desires the dominion of all the countries. So much so that they've gone so far to use dark magic. But fear not my faithful followers, for there is hope for us. May I present the two who saved the lives of myself and all in the kingdom. The mighty Felix Drake and Alicia Rand Philistine.”- Elena

There was a series of applause as the hall opened up to reveal the two still struggling with each other. They were a little surprised that they were caught in the middle of there fight,so they tried to right it off as nothing.

“ Thank you for your approval and trust.”- Felix

“ You honor me with your respect. “- Alicia

Alicia and Felix smiled and waved at the crowd, however when the two of them look at each other, the daggers were flying between them. Amari could only sigh and pray they wouldn't strangle each other. Meanwhile, queen Elena drew the attention of the crowd back to her direction.

“ In addition to this, I'd like to inform everyone that our esteemed princesses have returned from there quest and are safe and sound.”- Elena

Right when she said that, the doors to the main hall immediately opened up to reveal four gorgeous figures walking inside. They were of course, Launa, Luna, Lucy, and Laura. Needless to say those four had grown up exponentially. Launa, who was now 18, wore a light armor that clung to her incredible figure, with here greatsword strapped to her back. Luna, now 17, wore more regular clothes with a cloak draped on her back. Lucy, being 15, wore what was crossed between a dress and armor. Laura, who was Felix age, wore yellow armor with a blue straight jacket. As they nobles were admiring their appearance, the princesses were staring at the crowds like they were looking for someone. When their eyes caught sight of Felix, there was a strange glint in their eyes. Felix eyes also never left them when they first entered. Deciding to ignore his current issue, he went up to them as they did the same.

“ Laura, Launa, Luna, Lucy. It's been a while.”- Felix

“ Indeed it has young Drake, you've grown amazingly well I see.”- Launa

“ It really is good to see you Felix.”- Laura

“ It's a shame that we had to meet under the current circumstances.”- Luna

“ By the way, thanks for looking after our mother and siblings while we were away.”- Lucy

Don't mention it. Nothing would've stopped me from helping your mom. In any case, we're finally together. So let's make the most of it and try to catch up. I'm really interested in how your quests went and I--”- Felix

“ Felix, what do you think you're doing! First you can't even give me a decent compliment, and now you're acting all chummy with these armored amazons! The least you can do is introduce me!”- Alicia

“ (And there goes the good atmosphere.) Like I need to give you an introduction. And it's not like we're friends anyway.”- Felix

“ So your the witch who's put a curse on Felix. The dark witch Alicia.”- Laura

“ Excuse me, I didn't put a curse on anyone. At least not yet.”- Alicia

“ And yet you've put him in a position where you have him by the hip, convenient.”- Luna

“ As if I would cripple myself like this! Do have any idea how annoying it is to have no strength whatsoever?”- Alicia

“ And yet, I still think you're just as deadly.”- Lucy

It was clear to Felix that the girls wouldn't see eye to eye. He mentally prepared himself for a long night. The rest of the celebration went on smoothly, though Felix had to constantly keep his guard up since he was afraid that a fight would break out between Alicia and the princesses. By the time it had ended, he was mentally exhausted so much so that he was literally the first person to leave. Alicia left soon after he did and went to the room she was provided.

“ Haaa, man this was a complicated night, and that dress was pretty tight. One complication after the next with Felix as the cornerstone. I swear, how many women does he have to get along with?”- Alicia

“ Umm, excuse me ma'am.”- maid

“ Eh, who're you?”- Alicia

“ Uhh, I'm Stacy the maid that's been assigned to attend your every need.”- Stacy

“ Eh, just you? That's all?”

“ Y-yes. I know I don't look like much, but if you need something, don't hesitate to ask.”

“ I see. Step forward.”

“Okayyy.”

“ Getting a girl to attend to my things, ridiculous. Listen up servant girl, only men are allowed to tend to me. Be sure to let your queen know that.”

“ Oweee, yes ma'am”

Hey, wait a minute. Where's that brat Felix.”

“ Oh, you mean Master Felix Drake?”

While Alicia was tormenting the maid, Felix was trying to relieve himself of all the pent up stress he acquired.

“ Haaaah, why does this nonsense only happy around me. There's only a much I can take of this.”- Felix

“ C'mon big brother, you have the most important role in your life. To manage the seal that's holding the most powerful witch's magic. And all you have to release the seal is kiss her. How lucky can you get?”- Amari

“ Clearly, your definition of luck has been corrupted. I fail to see in any way shape or form how having the enemy of my ancestor attached to my hip benefits me at all.”- Felix

“ Felix, look at the mural on the wall.”

Felix looked up and saw the gods’ mural. It contained all the gods of order that belonged to all the different races.

“ Okay, so what am I supposed to be looking at?”

“ Take a look at Nymn, the goddess of creation and destruction. Don't you think she looks like Alicia. The dress she was wearing this evening really made it obvious.”

“ Way to ruin the image of the goddess bro. Besides, even if that was the case, she really puts that person to shame.”

“ Look Felix, image and power aside, she's still terran. If you could dig through all her shortcomings, you might find she's not as bad as you think.

“ I'd have better chances digging for magic stones.”

While they were debating, the maid knocked the door.

“ Uh, excuse me lord Felix. Mrs Alicia wishes to see for an important matter.”- Stacy

“ Perfect timing”- Amari

“ You're asking for a beating, you know that?”- Felix

As Felix was heading to Alicia's room, he was contemplating everything his brother said.

( Find out there's more to her than what's on paper huh. Not that he isn't right, but I have to see that. But who knows, she might surprise me.)

Felix finally located her room and entered in.

“ Felix, where the heck have you been? You've kept me waiting for far too long!”- Alicia

“ When did I have to tell you anything? I've been in the room that they have provided for my brother and I. Furthermore, why were you even waiting for me.”- Felix

“ HAVE YOU ALREADY FORGOTTEN? My mana is sealed and only you can unlock it! So if anything happens to you, I'm screwed! 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year, you are forbidden to ever leave my side.”- Alicia

“Screw that! I can barely handle being in the same room for 30 minutes. And you want me to be attached to you to the hip every day? That's not happening.”- Felix

“ Do you really want me to die that badly? Do keep in mind who you're talking to you kid.”- Alicia

“Do you honestly think you’re in a position to order me around you grandma.”- Felix

“DON'T CALL ME A GRANDMA!”- Alicia

(Good points my crack.) Felix

Meanwhile not far from the kingdom, some hooded travelers being led by a familiar character are heading to the east in great speed.

“Beware east kingdom, your not getting rid of me that easily.”- Torque
