《I Think I Got Stuck In My Favourite RPG :TFALM》*NEW:CHP7: After the fight there was a knock on the door.

With each attack I would dodge, I slowly became more confident with my skills and abilities here in this game-like world, even to go as far as to taunt them before I would attack, “Is that all you’ve got?”
When I was not paying attention and in the zone, the third masked henchmen crept up from behind me and managed to land a strike on my back. I quickly turned to see Marluiseo smile, only to have him seen his henchman's cheap weapon shatter on impact with my armour and skill; ‘Defensive Stance.’ With a loud shout, “Son of a bitch!”
I grabbed the man by his head. I saw the worried look he had as I flipped him, smashing him into the floor over and over again, creating a crater in the road where we were all standing. Before I let out a giant scream while holding my mid-back area, “My back!” I screamed at the lifeless man, “Dude, what the fuck? Now I am pissed you are really going to get it now.”
I felt the anger take hold as the rage boiled from inside. Suddenly activating on its own my ' Demonic-Presence.’ I was all of a sudden overtaken with a violent urge to kill all these men.
I mean, they did not really harm me in any real way, but it still hurt like hell being clubbed directly on the spine. Never have I experienced real damage before like this, even when I got beat up.
Now grabbing the near-dead human from the crater he was in, I threw him into the other man before I muttered, “Distance-close,” closing in on him in a blink of an eye. Appearing right before him, I saw the man shake as I appeared. Eyes glowing, striking him now with a spinning back fist, I sent him flying. I could feel as I struck the man, his bones shatter in his face on the back of my fist. I watched as he was sent flying back into a wall. As all four men were lying on the floor coughing up blood, I walked towards their ring leader. The shadows followed me as the once loud fighting in the street died down. Walking past the masked men, I could see blood leaking from their ears, eyes and head.
It was around this time the fat-man Marluiseo began to get nervous in the distance as I approached; he went on to say towards me while walking a little backwards, “Well, that wasn’t too funny of a joke of mine when I said to kill you. You see, my men have no sense of humour when I said kill him...What I meant for them was to bring you here, so I may have a word with the gentlemen like two grownups normally do.”
The nerve of this man.’ I said nothing as the sounds of wind carried past me as I slowly continued my approach towards him. I could see in the moonlight the sweat now pouring down his face like a waterfall. From the darkness that surrounded me, I could see my eyes now had a certain glowing black and red aura in the nighttime.
When I arrived where he was standing, I stood before him, allowing the fear to consume his mind. I could not help be smell the scent of piss. As I looked around, I could see the once-proud Marluiseo pissed his pants and fall to his knees in the puddle he made, holding his hands above his head. I considered beating him as he was expecting to be beaten.

‘If I did this, it would be within inches of his life like I did to the others.’
However, when I looked back, I could see that Jacosta was looking at me more frightened than when she was being attacked. That hit me in the heart as I calmed down, deactivating every skill I exhaled. What came next surprised him as I threw down a big bag of gold amounting to 40,000 Gold and said to him in a threatening matter, “You either take this or else you will forgive whatever it is if anything is still owed towards the girls' debt. If I ever hear you’ve been around Maria, Jacosta or Reena ill find you wherever you are and kill you and your family.”
‘Shit, did I go too far with the family. No, I am a Demon; after it’s time to be Demon-like, this is the time if there was ever one still I should maybe spare his family.’
I could see the man in the dim light sniffling as his fat face was getting red and snotty, holding my forehead with my thumb, index and pointer finger. I said, “Then there is option two; I'll kill you here and now and get it over with and spare your family. I will make it, so your fat ass never lays another finger on anyone ever again. I would love to make this happen, so test me. If you never try to touch Jacosta, Reena or Maria again and try to keep my money and go back on your word, I will find you; I might slip and not have to worry about whether or not to trust your word. Your choice in 5 seconds, or I pick option two.”
As I began counting down, I pulled out my for the first time my swords. As I did, I could hear them sliding out of their leather holster, making that swipe noise. The light flickered off the edge of the blade as I slowly approached the man Marluiseo; I began dragging my swords along the floor as I walked behind me. The blades began to spark and make an eerie noise like nails on a blackboard as I dragged them across the stones. The screams and screeches echoed behind me as the blades, and I drew closer.
It was like I was an executioner counting out loud, or an Arbiter sentencing, my victim, to death as I said to him while he was on his hands and knees, “Five...Four...Three,”
That was when the fat man quickly ran over, squealing with every step, leaning over and grabbing the large bag that lay before him, quickly looking inside it briefly. Then, continuing to squeal like a pig, I heard him scream as he picked himself up and said while running, "I will never go near them again."
I watched as he kept on crying while running off into the dark, disappearing from my sight; as he did, he was dropping various coins along the way, like a bread trail to a rat's nest. Then, turning around, I slowly started facing the girls, who looked astonished. But, of course, I immediately had a little fun back there. I did not know why that feeling overtook me towards the end, but it was my first real taste of a PVP fight here in this strange world.
I felt like that strike broke me inside after the fight. I could feel the pain radiate from all over me so clearly as it throbbed. Never had I experienced anything like that before. I began to think to myself, “Maybe I did take it a little far, but that seriously hurt.”

Looking back now over at the near-dead four masked men lying in pools of their own blood. Their bodies were laid out in various craters on the road and in various positions; I did not feel any sympathy towards them for their lifestyles led them here to this moment.
As the wind blew, making the common whistling noise that it does, I slowly started rubbing the back of my neck. Then, finally, I just began to whistle nervously, trying to play it off like I was a bystander passing by. Then, looking around, seeing all the damage to the street and buildings, I walked casually over to Reena and Jacosta before helping them up and off the floor, then walking over to Maria next, I said to them all, “We should probably run like hell before someone see’s us here.”
I could see everyone was looking around in disbelief at what just happened right before them. As I split the scene of the crime, I began telling myself along the way, “You weren’t really going to kill that guy, but your not the bad guy here. You are not the bad guy here.”
‘But I doubt that is what anyone will think.’
I always enjoyed a good fight in my previous life when I played video games. I always have been a very competitive person in nature, and those feelings clearly carried over here, but here, If I continued to act like this, it would get me killed one of these days, I realized.
Thinking back to my past life; ‘I was always challenging the best at what they did in an attempt to beat them in their own game, but this world was strange. It was like a video game I played called The world of Gepot, but it clearly was not. I could feel the pain, unlike in the game where it was not present. This world was like a video game in so many ways, but I could feel the pain inflicted. Maybe taking on more Demonic traits was something I needed to do to achieve my goals to get home to find this person who sent me and ask them. This, after all, was not like my world in any shape or form. What was it that sent me to do here? Was there a purpose? Nevertheless, I would try this as my second chance to break out of the box.
I was still thinking of running somewhere alone; I finally stopped running and started looking around and noticed I was lost. I was surprised to hear the footsteps of several people running. Turning around, I saw the ladies running after me shouting, "Wait, Azurith!"
I stood there and watched as all three girls now began to run over towards me, and once they caught up with me out of breath, they all hugged me, catching me off guard, almost causing me to fall over. I could feel them so tightly holding onto me as the light from the streetlamps shined onto us. The feeling of the ladies surrounding me was so soft to soft. ‘I was in heaven.’
But when I looked closer, I noticed each one of them had tears in their eyes, though. It appeared they did not look like they were sad tears. However, as they began to look around the area where I had to lead them, they looked confused...we were all lost...I was really unsure why I brought them here. I just picked a direction and ran.
All I knew was it was far away from the area our fight had been in, and all the damage was. Now standing under a dark lonely oil lamp light post that was slowly burning illuminating the street. I was overcome with a sense of sadness while lost and confused. I asked Reena, Maria and Jacosta, "Where had I ran off to.” Jacosta wiped her eyes and looked around. After, she answered."A living district."
I looked around, trying to understand what she meant, and replied to them, “Are we close by that tavern by chance?”
After all that I did, I was trying to play off what had just happened casually. I hoped the girls would not look into it too much or mention the abilities I used. However, Jacosta looked excited, and once we were finally still, she then started to say to me while she was jumping around,
“Wow, Azurith, that was amazing! Can you teach me what you did? First time I ever seen anyone not use their weapons; you did not even need to use your swords. Then you broke his blade with your armour like bam, and then his sword fell apart, then you looked at him, and you were like ‘Dude, what the fuck’ and then you punched him into the road. You are a little scary but so cool; you hardly took any damage. You're my hero, thank you.”
I could not help but smile a little, especially when I heard the hero part, and while patting her head, I told her, “Well, if he used his blade as the weapon, the masked man intended it to be and not a club, it would have probably hurt a lot more.”
Reaching behind my back, I began to rub my sore spine in the spot I got hit. It clearly hurt and was super sore even though my armour held up. Reena walked over behind me and wrapped her body around me, and began to rub the spot for me I was trying to reach behind my back. Now in a whisper, she said to me, “You really are too kind to us. You hardly know us, yet you’ve done so much to help us. We owe you so much I don't know how we can repay you, but I promise I will try to someday, though.”
After saying that, I could feel her place her head against my back
‘Reena, I began to fear what Azurith may do to them after he’s done everything. After all, he bought us armour and cleared mine and my sister's debt like it was nothing to him. The Human man who haunted us was a vile fat man who would threaten and beat us daily while robbing us and taking our money. I just watched in silence as Azurith beat the crap out of them in a few seconds, reducing them to a pathetic state. I quickly remembered the stories of Demons and their treatment of others who were not of the same race, how they would use those races for nefarious deeds, some sexual. From what I remembered about the stories...It was a lot worse than any humans treatment could have been. But those feelings subsided when he told me while I had my head on his back. “I did not do this to be rewarded or to be paid back. We are even now, as you saved my life, and I in returned just saved yours.”
Looking at Maria now, I felt bad for what I did to her when we met, and I walked over. She looked a little scared but leaning down getting onto a knee; I felt Reena release me, as I apologized earlier in the day for grabbing her tail and ears without her permission as I went on to say to Maria, “As my way of saying sorry in my weird kind of way, that man won't ever touch you either without your permission. I am sure they will probably report me to the authorities by now. So let's head to the tavern and get a drink before I leave the city. I don't want to cause any more problems for any of you any further.”
After I said that, I noticed that Maria's look on her face was sad that much I could tell as she did not say anything. I could hear the faint voice of Reena, who I heard said, "Well, I guess okay."
But Jacosta was very childish at heart. Jacosta began to pout out loud I could hear, and turning to investigate, she looked up to me and said in a whiny voice towards me, “You are not causing any of us any problems...You just saved my sister from her first night with a creep of a man. Don’t be so depressing. I bet he hasn’t. Besides, we could stop by his house and.”
I couldn’t help but shake my head; before she finished interrupting, I said, “No.” I knew where she was getting at. I then went on to answer Jacosta and said, “If I went and I assumed slaughtered an elite.” ' Correcting myself.’ Sorry, a noble, it will get my race banned from the city and a price on all of our heads, I assume. What I did should be enough to scare him so he won't touch you. Plus, not to mention the problems it would cause the other Beast-people if they found out you guys were involved with the death of that human. There was already bad blood between your races and the other races who enjoyed this city.” Turning to her with a smile on my face, I saw the look of sadness in her eyes as I said, “Thank you, Jacosta, but it was not worth the headache it would create.”
I stood there scratching my head for a few moments before I told them all, “So, let us get some food and have some drinks before I leave.”
There was a look of sadness in my eyes, too, as I began to enjoy their company, and as I began to walk forward, I paused. I stopped, remembering I did not know where to go. So now, with my head hung low, I just stood there standing in the whistling wind.
Maria, at this time, stared with a blank look of judgment. Then, she walked overworking her way in between my arms like she always did when she greeted me as nothing changed. With her head against mine, she then went on to brush her hands over my face and through my hair. The feeling was new, it was nice as her hands were tiny, and her skin was soft. Though her nails were long, I could feel her slightly scratch me as she did it. Still, it was nice.
For some odd reason, I could not help but cry a little as this was the much-needed comfort I longed for since I found myself stuck here. Maria then held out her hand, examining it, then noticing it was wet, she asked me, “Why are you upset. Please don’t be so upset and cry. That’s, um, unlike a Demon...Let’s have a drink and drink away our worries away tonight.”
We began to retrace some of our steps down the streets I ran through, lost in thought, passing by the area we fought in earlier. Everyone was gone. At first, I was shocked, and I was the first to notice that an unknown person had moved the bodies. However, the blood and the holes in the roads and wall were all fixed, and everything looked as if it had not been previously damaged or touched half an hour ago.
My stomach sunk as I began to feel nervous, as this reminded me a lot of like a forensic team going to a crime scene. Like the police in my previous world, like those shows where the cop is doing their detective stuff. Before they would figure out what happened to the victims, cleaning up the scene and then dusting for fingerprints before they left looking for the criminal talking to witnesses, now I frantically began saying out loud, “I actually should really get going...This does not look too good.” I felt Maria lean over, gripping tightly onto me, not allowing me to run again as she went on to tell me and answered, ”This is normal after fights, don’t worry, Azurith.”
I looked over to see Reena and Jacosta nod their heads in agreement with her, and they were all almost forcing me at this point forward. But, as we all walked forward now down the previous path, the masked men and Marluiseo came from half an hour beforehand.
It must have only been a few moments' walks from there until the party arrived at the giant building with a sign on it going by the name Icyhearts tavern. There was a large sign above the door, and it had a similar style to the surrounding buildings with nice large windows and balconies.
Walking up opening the door, we were all greeted with a casual vibe; it was cozy. The tavern was well kept and was very clean and smelt of lilacs, lavender and other various flowers. There was an area for guests to chat with each other while they were there visiting, and besides that, a long L-shaped desk with an elf woman working behind it.
Beside her was a vase of flowers which was probably responsible for the smell. Whatever they were, they smelt amazing and made the place throughout the tavern smell fresh. It was so good to smell the flowers.
The flowers I saw suspended were bright red and were bell-shaped flowers. They struck me as odd as I had never seen anything like this before anywhere. The ladies and I now walked over towards the elf woman; she could hear us approach and, with her head down, said, “Hello, welcome to our establishment.” I could see she was a well-mannered woman, and when she spoke, she did so gracefully. She was moderately nice compared to all the other races we had spoken to today. Plus, the various people I had met up with at this point.
Besides, for the three girls I was with, everyone else was a jerk. Still, having some faith that not everyone was a terrible person in this world and judged people before they even knew them. So I walked forward and stood next to the girls. Once at the desk, I began to speak to the Elvish woman seated at the L desk working on something small,” Hello there.”
Bothered, I interrupted her; she looked up. So I asked her, “Um, can we rent a room and would we be able to add a few bottles of whatever is the best ale wine or beer it is you guys serve?”
I could see the elf woman behind the desk had long brown hair with pale skin, and poking through her ears were long ears. The women went to look at the three women I was with and answered, " You're not all going to be in one room, are you?”
Maria responded to the elf and said for our group, ”Yes, and if it gets a little loud, don't come knocking.”
The elf woman looked startled shot her head over towards me. I was surprised Maria upright said that to another lady so casually. I saw the woman behind the desk face go red in anger, and all I could do was cover my face in embarrassment. Once she recovered, she now began to look at me like I was some scumbag preying on a couple of vulnerable women. She went on leaning over and started asking the girls I was with, “He has not hurt you, has he?”
'Mentally, I began to cry, retracting his previous thoughts, saying to himself. “Why Maria, she was so nice to me. It's not like that why!” After hearing the opposite of what she thought from the ladies I was with and heard what was actually going on, she then charged us 250 gold for the room, which I happily paid for and then she offered to bring us two bottles of fine apple ale, repeatedly apologizing to me for the mistreatment. I could not help but begin thinking to myself while paying. 'Maybe this time ill actually gets to drink the bottle.’
Now looking into my inventory, the gold looked almost as if I had not even touched it even with my stunt earlier. At that moment, only one thing was for sure; ‘that things weren't too bad for me.'
As everyone walked up the staircases, we passed several doors before entering the rented room; it was actually quite nice, 'It was actually quite big for the price.' But, never being in something so luxurious, I said to everyone,” Nice.”
Inside this giant room, I could see a door that led off in another area with a door. I stood there and opened it. Inside was a bathroom. Exiting the bathroom, I could see the room was nice, and It had a very casual colour: a light brown or orange being the walls, and all the furniture was of a chocolate brown, including the bed. After everyone got situated where everything was, then I could hear a knock at our door. Not long after the knock, there could be heard the woman behind the door speaking as she asked, “I have your drinks for the evening. Can I enter?”
Walking inside the room now in her right hand was a large golden colour tray. Two bottles of the fine apple ale, four glasses sitting beside them, and a silver pale of ice were on the tray.
As she left the room, I watched Jacosta begin to run over to where she placed the large tray and began to try and open the bottle while looking cute while she struggled using her feet at times to try to remove the cork.
It was not until Maria walked over and showed her how to open it she got it open. I watched as Maria began showing her the trick while she opened it for her. Now that little Jacosta had it open, everyone grabbed a glass, and together, we started to drink before there was another knock on the door, “Hello, this is the guild. We have reports of a fight and need to take a statement from the Demon inside.”

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.
